DELETE Look I know this is dangerous and dumb, but out of the two witch one is a better option if you must use one? a8-7600 and r9 nano. Pcie slot should deliver 75w, so adapter needs to deliver 100w @ max peak tdp of the r9 nano. A8-7600 tdp 65w. The power unit this pc has is 300w. So molex or sata? I own both adapters. Witch one is more suitable for the job. Yes I know this might turn into a bomb. Don't worry I'll record it and post here if it happens.

DIY the fastest handheld for too much money warning: this is stupid, but if you want the fast handheld pc, this is an option. Also need to be very tech-savvy. (or very stupid (or both)) to actually do this. Question? What is faster than a ROG Ally but smaller than an itx pc? It's the motherboard of an alienware x17 12900hk (very important that it's that CPU(unless you know how to undervolt a 12700h(I don’t))). The reason for the choice is that it is too my knowledge. The smallest, most compact, motherboard that is available with a CPU that can be undervolted. The steps are quite simple really. 1: Acquire alienware x17 with 12900hk. For somewhat high resolution photos of the motherboard, I suggest the pictures from this seller on eBay https://www.ebay.com/itm/166369177351?epid=20059595121&hash=item26bc602f07:g:Xb0AAOSwjOllK8Tu&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA0DuhiKAcX%2BQi8kj%2Bp2xSRBPLDRlrlPrIAX4CD%2BCNE9y55Mi66%2Bw%2FUGuati20mFkwWOdjK2SzJV%2BPmd%2F%2BQhj2u9lYQLoqFNR9pZVJpvG5AzQomZQqOFcPvGHXNJdzQnxrKTLW6m5330xPj1NaAABMF4W6DetNfPgokUWmXHYM54w%2FDxL8h8VncdjZxUMbC2efUUUzIvMPlc%2BJfnl0qY5Tx66oCUxks5mjwQtFy90RMK8RBYnjMzeTnB5faI7RTe%2BN6XtWT2Oqfm2MaeOFierC5Pw%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR_LnvLabYw 2: Undervolt the shit out of it. So it draws as little power as possible 3: Figure out cooling, and battery. 4: now for the controls, some laptops complain if the keyboard is not plugged in to the motherboard, I don't know if that is the case here. If so, I suggest going with the clamshell style. Small keyboard on the bottom, with flip-up screen on top, and half of a sawed off controller on each side. 5 hopefully while reading this you have already been thinking of a design for this amalgamation to go in, if not you should probably get on that now. After figuring all that out, you should hopefully have a working handheld pc that still is guzzling power too hot is heavy and quite big. But faster than anything else on the market. Good luck an idiot. Disclaimers: This is stupid and perhaps impossible. This was written by someone that does not know enough about this kind of things to actually be writing this. And lastly I am dyslectic and English is not my first language so grammatical errors are inevitable.

I bought an Apple iPad 6th Gen off of ShopGoodwill recently, and it came locked. I erased it and got activation lock. I need to bypass it, and have contacted Apple multiple times, and they refuse to help me. I want to bypass it because I really want to get into drawing. Whether I can bypass it or not, Activation Lock is a real problem. It's proposed as an anti-theft feature, yet there's no way for Apple or Me to contact the original owner to remove it! The only way the Activation Lock is removed is if the original owner is tech-savvy enough to know how to remove it. There's no system in place for Apple or a bot to contact the original owner to see if he/she can remove it. Activation Lock is broken, and is reducing millions of devices to e-waste. Someone should really make a petition about this or smth. It's been annoying me a lot. Anyways if you can help, I'd appreacite it.

Developers will have games run on both the PC and Switch. My Pixel 7 Pro is more powerful than the Switch but does not get those same games! That makes me so freaking angry! Like I cannot contain it anymore! I am done with smartphones entirely! Developers won't port to them? Well then, no more upgrading to powerful phones! I am downgrading my Pixel 7 Pro to an HTC ONE X. It being 32-bit-only means that there is an actual technical reason as to why it cannot run those games. No more bashing my head against the wall waiting for developers to support Android officially. No more bashing my head against the wall waiting for Yuzu to better support Mali GPUs. I will just use an HTC ONE X for most normal smartphone stuff, with the very best I can expect out of it being Dreamcast games. One way I shown I was already giving up on Android devices was trying to find a used gaming laptop and a cellular module. Unfortunately, the cellular modules are too hard to find or are too expensive.

Okay so I was browsing YouTube just chilling like one does, And suddenly out of the blue an ad happens upon me unfortunately I didn't have time to record it but it was really really cheesy and to basically sum it up some girl was complaining that she had to flip phone and then her parents bought her this phone but they still had the "peace of mind" that their daughter was safe. And the most crappy thing about this phone is it can't do anything that most mobile devices can do. On one hand that would be cool I guess for like little kids. Thing is though this is being advertised to TEENAGERS. Anyways I think you should look at this if you want a laugh and linus you should review this or something. https://gabbwireless.com/product/gabb-phone-z2/

So i have a plan for a server rack thats about 22u tall. One of the servers i plan on having in it is a NAS. I plan on hooking up a 10g sfp+ connection to it between my nas and my main tower. The idea is to edit off of it. I dont plan on having 200gb size files or somthing but i was wondering whats the minimum bandwidth you would recommend for this task? is there any cpu bottle necks i should consider? I was planning on throwing in either some reasonably cheap amd cpu or intel server chip. My plan is an all ssd nas ( i hate hard drivesand avoid if i can help it). Prob sata ssds since i have no idea how i would do a nvme ssd array for this kind of a task. The idea is atleast 8 if not 16 drives (using 2 sas/sata hba.) I since i will be editing off of them i was planning on using a zfs solution. Mabey proxmox or somthing. And yes i am aware this is crazy stupid but i have an addiction to storage and i need to fill it. No idea what case im using but since they will be sata ssd i can just double side tape every thing worst case.

okay, to make it short I have a Gigabyte GeForce Rtx 2060 Super Gaming OC 8GC GDDR6. This version has 3 noisy fans. why not just put 2 to 3 NF-A12x25 PWM Fans on it instead? Just pull off the plastic surroundings with the fans and connect noctua fans with some zip ties? I can controll the fan speed with a hub that shouldn't be the problem. Why? Less noise and Temperature. please give me your thoughts.

Some may recall that about a month ago, I believe, Linus and Alex tackled a custom case built in pyramidal shape, which was proven to be a horrible idea. Well, a AZZA took notice and thought to themselves that it was a GREAT idea to do the same exact thing. Here i present the AZZA Pyramidal case, for the cheap price of 300 US pennies. https://www.newegg.com/black-azza-pyramid-804v-atx-mid-tower/p/2AM-004W-00016?item=2AM-004W-00016&source=region&nm_mc=bac-gdr-ca-pc&cm_mmc=bac-gdr-ca-pc-_-dyn-_-cases+(computer+cases+-+atx+form)-_-2AM-004W-00016&gclid=CjwKCAjwwab7BRBAEiwAapqpTIcACWO9bFgUkzRuWYrR76HXw_7WW6FPmTH39Oygw60cNaIxlgiR2xoCUHAQAvD_BwE Great stuff really.

Hi guys, I'm a complete beginner when it comes to pc building, I've researched enough about reviews of components and used pcpart picker to check compatability with my parts, and ordered them, but I'm unsure as to if they will fit/work together regardless. I tried to spend more to avoid skimping on important parts(I have no idea!) Here's the build: Case: bequiet Dark Base 700 CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 Mobo: MSI b450 gaming pro carbon ac GPU: XFX Radeon 5700 XT Thicc III Ultra 8 GB RAM: Corsair vengeance RGB Pro 16gb(2x8) 3200C16 Cooler: Cooler Master ML360r liquid cooler SSD: Samsung evo 860 1TB SATA PSU: Corsair rm650 Gold Fully modular 650W OS: Windows 10 home USB As a noob I have a few questions, please bear with me!: 1. Obvious and a bit late since I've ordered, but will all the parts actually work with each other? Lol (pcpartpicker doesnt say anything, but its sketchy because it doesnt have the exact component name for some of the parts) 2. I've checked the dimensions of the case and my GPU, since it looks so bloody big I'm not sure if it will fit? The dimensions are confusing, or I'm just blind.... 3. Everyone seems to be talking about thermal paste, and since I'm stupid and went with the complicated liquid cooling idk if I should use the one that comes with the cooler or buy another one? If CM provides one. 4. Do I need to buy anything else? I have the peripherals(mouse, monitor and keyboard), but do I need any extra screws/cables? I read about magnetic screwdrivers and some anti static stuff for building, what do you guys reccomend? 5. As I've never built before, how would I go about installing the water cooler(before I mount the mobo?) Most guides I've seen don't cover water cooling. 6. Finally, if anyone would be able to estimate the avg performance/thermals my setup should normally produce(so I know if I need to return anything for warranty). Can I/should I overclock? I'd only use this to play games. Not sure if I should get a 2k or 4k monitor, can my setup support either? 7. General building tips for a complete beginner? Anything! Thanks so much, I'm just really worried as I spent what I think is a lot on a pc, and being stupid don't know what I'm getting myself into. Any help appreciated! :)

Hi all, sorry to bother you all for such a stupid, queston/request. I just learned that my girlfriend was pregnant (Hourray, congrats etc ...) but it was a huge surprise on our side, so nothing is ready Since I am an « old/still there » hard gamer and pc builder, my question is if any other t-shirts/polo are available - other then the ones onlines ? I am living in Luxembourg (yeah it is a country - middle of Germany, France and belgium) so the sending fee are of 50$, so I wanted to know if something more « personnel » would be possible if payed for ? (Love the behind of Linus office, pictures/3D of pc material) Sorry for all the mistakes, and if this question doesn’t belong here, didn’t saw any other place to ask this ? good day

Good Afternoon/Morning Just an Idea for a series of Tech Tips video's i'd like to see as I imagine Linus and his sense of humour would really make this fun to watch. Could you make a series of video's of each Version of Microsoft windows installing it onto a system that only just meets the minimum requirements, as lets face it there's no way they'd run nicely. I hope this reaches Linus and the team, I'd like to here your thoughts on this and if you think this would be quite funny. Cheers Jim Dawson

hp What can I do to fix HP's stupidity?
Chaos Network posted a topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
What can I do to fix HP's stupidity on this laptop? Does it have a 2.5" drive bay that i could put something in? HP Notebook - 14-an012nr (ENERGY STAR) That is the model. It has 32GB of storage, of which I can only use 7 because of system reserved and Windows.Old. I am trying to just use it to play GMOD on because it will be better than my 2011 MacBook Air with 4GB of RAM and a dual core i5 clocked at 1.5 GHz. But i go to join the server i want to play on and I have enough space to download most of the resources for the server, until I need to download the map, then it runs out. Can i put a 2.5 inch drive in this to fix this problem? -
So I'm not exactly old being only 22, regardless of the fact I feel like a 90 year old on dialysis... But I remember growing up in the wave of consoles, from the N64 to XB360 during which time I was a kid, and being a kid was a bit of a dick for my parents to look after. But I always had a console, and would play games whenever I could thus my parents decided to start limiting my time on my consoles until I was older, and was dumb enough to be accountable for my own mistakes. If I didn't want to come of my console my parents took that shit away, no matter how much I screamed or tantrumed about it, it was taken away, I wasn't allowed it again for a day or two. End of story. So this article about a 9y/o addicted to Fortnite, to me personally sounds more like shitty parenting rather than an addictive game. If she had been told NO, like some of us where, like a parent should do when their child is a little shit, she would probably have never had this sort of thing happen I would just like to hear some other opinions about this article, and the whole video game addiction situation that is now starting to become a thing http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5826465/Girl-nine-rehab-addicted-Fortnite-video-game-wet-herself.html

This is just..... beyond stupid. Source: https://kotaku.com/ubisoft-accidentally-releases-assassin-s-creed-origins-1822135300 Not much more to this. Ubisoft is just f**king stupid to do this in my opinion. You made a mistake, okay, just leave it out and let everyone play. What friggin difference does a week make? I'm sure it has something to do with marketing and contracts and making the marketing team feel like they actually do something important beyond needlessly increasing the overhead of making games. I just.... I do not understand how this company is successful with all the dumb shit they pull. You are now free to post your digging memes. Edit: My tone could probably have been better here. I am more laughing at Ubisoft over what I see as a comical mistake, followed up by an even more comical boneheaded move. Not actually angry at them. Edit the second: I'm also kind of shocked because I've never heard of a company accidentally releasing a product early, much less unreleasing it especially when people were buying it anyways.

Hello. So, three days ago, my LG G4 suddenly started to shut down. Every time I've tried to start it up, it just locks itself at the "Life's Good" and logo, what usually comes up right before I get into log-in screen. I don't know what might have caused this. Should I factory reset my phone?

Oh australia, the country where "cunt" has about 50 different meanings the country full of druggo, junkie bogans the country where 3.75 MEGABITS PER SECOND IS CONSIDERED A GOOD INTERNET SPEED WHAT THE FUCK! This is possibly the most frustrating thing. Even though Australia is one of the most modern and urbanised countries in the world, the internet across the entire country is absolutely terrible. You will be very very lucky to get over 10 megabits per second in australia. megabits not megabytes. So, i recently moved to a new house. Gotta get sum internet aye? Well we hit up a very discreet and unpopular company called "Reddenet" Who sets up a tall sattelite dish on your roof to get good internet. pros of reddenet -Average about 50 megabits per second (which in australia is fucking amazing, and i mean fucking insane speeds) -Consistant and reliable (rarely drops out) -Cheaper than almost any other solution cons of reddenet - Well, this is not a con for me, but a con for all of my neighbours who have nothing better to do with their sad pathetic lives than complain about a fucking 1 inch thick antenna on my roof the dish is only about 40cm in diameter. Sure, its about 10 metres up in the air but it is barely noticable, it doesnt block the view of anything at all. But my old wingebag neighbours said it looked ugly as fuck and threatened to take us to court if we didnt take it down. absolute fucking assholes. SO, my parents took it down, binned our beloved reddenet and "upgraded" to TPG, with "NBN" which is supposed to be at least like 60 mbps. it costs a lot more money than reddenet. get it installed 2.8 megabits per second download 0.12 megabits per second upload end my life i cant even stream HD content anymore not 720 30fps nope 480p i have a 4k tv, and i have to watch content on it at 480 fucking p pretty much my question is... what is the best weapon to murder your neighbours with? Thanks.
