Hummm I have 3 PC Setup At Home, 1 for me that I can run what ever I want in max setting and 2 others with more "low end" in mind like playing minecraft with 2 of my friend but some thing seams weard, I have 1 of the 2 low end equip with: FX8350 8 core Radeon R9 380 24Go de ram(to off load rendering over night on this pc and be able to render 2 thing same time even if it doesn't have the best GPU) as you can see in the first photo even with just minecraft open, My GPU Filker between 90% and 0% amd that cause lot of lag spikes and over all I have between 50 and 100 fps with everything at minimum as exemple, This is my more Low end PC FX 6300 Six Core Radeon R9 270X 8G of ram this pc get only 5Go of ram allocated to minecraft and the first one has 10Go of ram allocated because of less overall ram This pc get around 200-300 fps same setting same version of windows, both with all driver up to date, (see second picture for representation of usage) this one get way better result(more like expected) but with less powerfull parts? where could the probleme be?

I have a tough time choosing between these three cards, all of them I can only find on the second hand market, and I heard they perform pretty similarly. However, here's the pros and cons of each of them For the HD 7850, what is very enticing is the price, being the cheapest of all three of them, however it does not have a warranty, unlike the other two. For the R7 370, I can buy it from a second hand store that offers a 6 month warranty on it, but it comes in as the second most expensive card. Then there's the R7 270x, which I found to be the most expensive of the bunch (almost as much as a new RX 560), but it still is in warranty until November 2020!! Considering my choices, should I just get a new 460 / 560 since I don't risk anything? Or should I go for a second hand one from the list above? I know computer stuff is more durable than it seems, and that the risk of second hand is worth it but I'm still kinda reluctant and need further assurance second hand is ok.

Hi, currently have the card mentioned above and currently have it running at 1200mhz core, 1500mhz VRAM and 1195mV according to afterburner. The card is completely stable at these speeds but im wondering if theres more to be had (more vcore, bios mods etc). Any suggestions or is this as good as im likely to get? Thanks :-)

Hi, Originally my GPU was connected to my monitor via VGA cable with DVI to VGA converter, but I was not getting any signal on my monitor for the past 3 days. Yesterday I was able to make it work with a HDMI cable without any trouble. I ran GPU stress tests and everything was fine but today even the HDMI connection is not sending any signal to the monitor. What should I do to make sure that the problem is with my GPU and not something else? My GPU is within warranty but RMA process can take up to 45 days over here and I cannot wait that long without making immediate alternate arrangements. Please help. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hi all I recently upgraded my little iiyama 19 inch VGA monitor (which served me well for 10 years) to the Asus VE278H, but the image quality is so very poor both through HDMI and using a DVI-HDMI converter (no DVI input on the monitor). The text on my screen, in Desktop, using apps like Word, and in games, is just not quite right. It's almost like the resolution is off by a tiny amount. The edges of the text aren't defined, and it makes playing games like Civ V, WoW and SWTOR horrible unless in windowed mode. Even the Stick of Truth looks poo.... As soon as I go into fullscreen windowed mode in games, everything looks as crisp as a crisp thing. I've been searching here and also all over the internets for an answer and have tried most things. Overscan settings, mucking about with Cleartype, there is no option to switch from AV to PC input on my monitor, uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers etc. but I still have the same issue. Here are a couple of examples, and here are some system details. Graphics Chipset - Radeon R9 200 Series Radeon Software Version - 16.7.3 Radeon Software Edition - Crimson Windows Version - Windows 10 (64 bit) System Memory - 10 GB CPU Type - AMD FX(tm)-8320 Eight-Core Processor Can anyone suggest anything, please? I'm losing my mind over here! Cheers!

So general overclocking/bottleneck questions thread. For some reason there seems to be a lack of information for my CPU, it not being a popular model. build : http://pcpartpicker.com/list/3wDcJx originally assembled around january 2014 , upgraded sound card and extra monitor later text version: ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 motherboard AMD FX-6200 currently @ 4.0ghz (have had it up to 4.3-4.5GHz but run into thermal throttling issues, 4.2 is relatively stable but still get occasional "did not receive clock interrupt" errors after 2-3 days and that bothers me that I lose 2 hours of gaming progress) ASUS R9 270X CU II 2GB @ 1140mhz for core clock, 1500 for memory Experiencing frame dips not attributed to thermal throttling as heaven benchmark shows. See attached Picture. http://imgur.com/a/aJBIP So my questions are: 1. What would be a good place to start on finding a stable cpu clock? (checked the cpu overclocking database and fx-6200 isn't even listed.) 2. Is my CPU the biggest bottleneck? I feel r9 270x is relatively decent still. If CPU is my bottleneck, should I upgrade to fx-8350 or wait for zen architecture? 3. Is this the best I can expect from this CPU? 4. Would the fact that I used mining programs for cryptocurrency on my gpu have degraded the gaming performance? 5. What else should I be using to benchmark?

I overclocked my ASUS R9 270x 4gb with ASUS GPU Tweak (Win 10). The core from 1120 to 1350 and the vram from 1400 to 1570 (Core-Volts were automaticly highered from GPU tweak). It worked fine for hours in furmark and in games like GTA V, CSGO and Arma 3. I started my PC the next day and nothing worked, even CSGO crashed permanently. "The AMD driver has stopped working and was restarted" or the whole PC freezed. So I thougt fuck this and set everything down to the base clock of 1120 and 1400. Now I have some graphic glitches in GTA V (could be the game) and very rarely in other games. Most Problems occur in GTA, because it crashes every 30 min while CSGO is doing it evrey 1-2h and is still working after the AMD driver has restarted itself. I wanted to ask you if my GPU is fucked or If it makes sense to try underclocking core/vram.

Hi, I am going to be building a pc later this year (christmas 2016 ish) and am currently trying to decide what I should put in it. I have a budget of roughly £400 ($570 US) total. I am probably going to be playing some of the newer assassins creeds and elder scrolls as well as league and TF2. I have been looking at graphics cards and have seen a used XFX R9 270X on amazon with a one year warranty, good reviews, 2GB of VRAM (DDR5) and a core clock of 1000mhz for £125 ($178 US) and a new MSI gtx 950 also on amazon with whatever warranty MSI has, good reviews, 2GB of VRAM (also DDR5) and a core clock of 1102mhz for £140 ($200 US). I have decided on most of the system already but am unsure about mobo, CPU and GPU GTX 950 http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B013SUP76U/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1EYDMRQ8S0AP4&coliid=I2OPJ1LJ57MHOA&psc=1#Ask R9 270X http://www.amazon.co.uk/XFX-Radeon-Edition-Graphics-GDDR5/dp/B00JB8W8N4/ref=aag_m_pw_dp?ie=UTF8&m=A3EX4AHK0XR1JW

Hi, So I am wondering what GPU I should add to my build which I am currently making for my sister. ( I will order the components from MindFactory.de) ( Palit, Asus, Inno3D, Gigabyte, KF2) GTX 950 vs HIS Radeon R9 270X IceQ Other Components (I won't overclock CPU): Motherboard: AsRock B85M Pro3 CPU: Intel Core i5 4460 Boxed RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz HDD: Seagate 1tb PSU: Corsair VS550W Case: Bitfenix Prodigy M GPU: ? The total price with shipping costs( 30€ to Finland) and other stuff + ~ 66€ = 677,77€ Thanks in advance! (feel free to comment overall build and what would you change if the budget is like 700€ max)

Hello! So my birthday is in a few days and I plan to build a new gaming PC for myself, my whole life I was gaming on PC and I really loved it, mostly I had only laptops which kinda sucked on gaming, so I had to play everything on low settings to achieve some playable frame rates. So I decided to get a new gaming PC to achieve some more playable frame rates on 1080p with mediumish settings and I hope that's gonna be possible with this budget. So this is what I have right now: Sorry for not using PCPartPicker, but for some reason PCPartPicker doesn't always recognize this shop (mindfactory.de) which is one of the best e-shops in Germany, anyways, it's not about the shop. So what do you think? Can this build play the games on 60fps on 1080p on medium~ settings? I would like to play games like: League of Legends, Fallout 4, GTA 5, CS:GO, Skyrim, Minecraft, Path of Exile, Brawlhalla, TF2 and other awesome games, but I think Fallout 4 would be the most demanding here, or maybe GTA 5, idk tho. So what are you thoughts? If you have any changes or just an opinion, please write it down, if you could find other parts it would be awesome if you would find them on http://mindfactory.de Thank you!

I would like to play any games (like AC Syndicate, AC Unity, GTA V, Witcher 3, Fallout 4, Far Cry Primal/4 etc) on High Setting with a Smooth 45+ fps @1600x900. Is it possible with R9 270x? My PC Spec: CPU i5 3470 with Hyper 212x Cooler Asus 61ME Mobo 6 GB 1333 Ram 1 TB HDD I'm on a very tight budget. I Can afford- >A second hand R9 270x Vapor X for 11000 BDT (Bangladeshi; Taka 1$ == 80 BDT) + PSU for 2000 BDT. Or, > to wait for 1 and half month and buy again second hand R9 280x VX for 16000BDT + PSU for 4000BDT. What Should I do? I can't wait. It's been 2 months without gaming and I'm dying!

I Recently had an issue of red squares appearing on my screen and all the repliers on the topic came to the conclusion that it was windows fault and my hardware was fine; but now after updating to windows 10 from 7 these do not show their face as often but during times when the screen is completely black, say from unlocking to the desktop, between asus logo (mobo) and windows, quitting a fullscreen program or on Razer synapse. They do not appear anywhere else... However, something i believe that is related is far more annoying. My computer can be idling, like now, or under stress (Prime95/ Furmark/ Games- Far cry 3/4 - GTA 5 - Beamng Drive - Assetto Corsa) and artifacts will appear. These warp and stretch any on screen image from chrome, ai suite or after burner to 3d elements in games having new pieces going on forever. Also on the desktop when moving items around parts of the window is left behind or the wallpaper dragged with it. I feel that to fix this it was cost me but i'm unsure whether its cpu or gpu related. Or something else? i tried taxing each component as separately as i could with CPU on prime 95 and GPU on furmark but there was little difference that i could see. both CPU and GPU have been over clocked with them both now at stock clocks to reduce this. CPU/ GPU/ Other? Thanks! P.S. The issue does not show up in screen shots...

I'm currently sitting on a budget of £600 (roughly $860) and I need to make some magic happen. My poor little AMD based PC has always disappointed me no matter what I threw at it. Here are my current specs, just wondering what the best upgrade path would be: AMD FX-8350 R9 270x Gigabyte GA 990FXA-UD3 8GB Corsair Vengeance 120GB Samsung 850 Evo 500GB Hard Disk I'm wondering whether I should hold out until Zen's ultimate release and pair one of those newer CPU's with something like a 390x or an R9 Nano? I'm also very tempted to swap over to the Intel/Nvidia side of things and get myself an i5 with a 980 but it's really pushing my budget to the limit. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hello! I would just want to know what causes this little quirk that happens when viewing gifs and videos. It happens usually when viewing a Gif on Chrome or Edge, somehow doesn't happen on Firefox On videos it only happens for about the first second or so. It usually happens when viewing videos on Facebook on Chrome/Edge. It sometimes happen on the Movies & TV windows app and Windows Media Player. It does not occur on VLC and Firefox. I recently installed a XFX r9 270x on a Windows 10 machine (hence the Edge). Everything seems fine (I have run benchmarks and played games) but this little nuisance. It is not really a big problem it is just annoying sometimes. Thanks! Here are some pictures:
