Hey guys, I just made a custom build with the following specs: R5 5600X, MSI B550 M Pro VDH wifi, MSI RTX 3060 Ventus 2x, 16 GB XPG 3200 Mhz ram, 750 Watt DeepCool 80 Plus Gold Modular PSU and a Deep Cool 240 MM AIO cooler. I have been facing restart issue everytime I start Streaming and playing Games. Valorant runs only for a few minutes, Super People Restarts in the lobby, and if I launch any game alongside streaming, the Pc Restarts after 5-10 mins of streaming. Anyone has any idea what the issue might be. The restarts are freaking me out, and it always happens after like 10 mins of gaming. The peak CPU temp I found out was 60 degrees and GPU was 65. No idea what is causing it. Any help is appreciated.

Hi guys, so basically, our tv has been acting up recently. It keeps on 'flickering' when we to turn it on. After waiting hours, sometimes an entire day, it turns on seemingly for no reason and works normally with no signs of trouble. That is until u turn it off again After which the cycle repeats. Bought it less then a year ago (around the beginning of Fall) AND started using it month or 2 after it arrived, during which time it remain in box untouched. I am also attaching a vid down here cuz trying to explain the issue is too much of a pain in the butt. (Quality is low cuz had to compress it to send over email from phone ) Any help will be appreciated Tysm ( ω ) LTT Forums.mp4

I'm not sure if this is the right thread to post this I but I was wondering if there are other good ways to remove thermal paste other than 99% isopropyl alcohol. Are there any household products I could use instead? I know that Linus unloaded a video about this however that was uploaded nearly 5 years ago. I've tried finding answers to this on reddit however I assume I would have better luck by posting on here.

So i’m upgrading a prebuilt and bought the cooler master 212 black edition which came with a small tube of mastergel pro paste. I’ve ordered some arctic mx4 on amazon however it’s took ages to ship even with prime. Is it worth it for me to wait to see if the mx4 arrives or is there not much difference between the two pastes. I’ve seen a comparison between the two however they used a ryzen 3 3100 with a stock ryzen cooler so it’s hard to see what the temps would be like with my i7 9700f and 212 cooler.

I am trying to upgrade a prebuilt i have and the only part i now need is the power supply. I want this to be the last upgrade i do with this pc so i want the psu to be reliable and last me a couple years. The main problem i’m having is deciding wether i need 550w or 650w; every where i’ve looked people always say different things. I want the psu to be around £45 and so far i’ve found these psus on scan uk for that around that price : Corsair (refurbished) cx650m (2017)£45 corsair (refurbished) cx750m(2021) £50 corsair cv650 £40 corsair cx550f £40 evga 650bq £45 ( scan uk states that refurbished corsair products are repaired with factory corsair replacement parts) Based on the cultist psu tier list the psus i am looking at rank at; cx550f - tier b (gold / best in bracket) cx650m - tier c (gold) cv650 - tier c (gold) 600bq - tier c cx750m(2021) - tier c low -> im not sure why it places so low I don’t know what one to choose as i feel like both the cx550f and cx750m are good deals for their price however they rank so differently on the tier list. It’s probably not good if i base what i buy solely on that tier list so i need your guys help. I would really appreciate your help to decide the best psu out of the five i’ve chosen. Thanks.

Budget (including currency): 700 USD MAX Country: Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: low level graphics games and school work Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hello! I have been asked to build another Pc for a friend and the parts list enclosed below is my best shot at making it within their budget while still maintaining at least low level performance. If anyone who reads this has any suggestions on any ways it can be cheaper while keeping the same or better performance would be awesome! (the price can go slightly above what it currently is but not above 700 under any circumstance) https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Corrigan2008/saved/#view=JLdpBm

Suggestion For Wife's New Gaming Laptop
VesperMoirai posted a topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
I want to get my wife a good laptop for gaming/personal use. She has a Surface 3 and it's starting to show it's age for normal tasks and my 880M in my Valkyrie laptop died. Plus it's a chonker 6lbs I think. That's not including the power bricks... ANYWAY, My budget is up to 2200$(Not including Tax) USD We also have a 4K TV in our room so I would like something that could at least drive the TV on decent details while also being thin. Could always down the res to 2k but best case scenario 4K native. Performing well and having a high refresh rate panel 1080P or 2K would be good for mobile playing. She mainly plays FFXIV, Back 4 Blood, Valheim, Sea of Thieves, Minecraft, Borderlands 3 stuff like that. I would rather AMD CPU but if there is a good deal to be had for Intel I'll take a look. I was looking at Zephyrus but I've heard and seen once ASUS RMA/Warranty service is kinda hit or miss. Usually miss. Got a ASUS TUF monitor they told me nothing was wrong with it meanwhile it flickered and ghosted like no ones business. They just sent it back and now I have to return it to Amazon to order a new one. Thankfully Amazon was cool. Which makes me a bit hesitant to go with ASUS for that big of a purchase.- 8 replies

New Laptop for Programming and Photoshop
gpantelidis posted a topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
Hello , I am looking for a laptop for programming and photoshop for daily use and light gaming at weekends, I want something "portable" because walking to the office. The price budget is 2100€. In my country, I have found Zephyrous G14 GA401QM-K2030T (Ryzen 9-5900HS/16GB/1TB/GeForce RTX 3060) -> 2050€ Zephyrus G15 GA503QR Laptop (Ryzen 7 5800HS/16 GB/1 TB/RTX 3070 8 GB) -> 2200€ XPS 15 9510 (i7-11800H/16GB/1TB/GeForce RTX 3050 Ti/FHD+) ->2500€ I wonder it is worth spending 100€ more for G15 or 400€ for XPS or I should go for G14. Thanks in advance ! -
So I'm messing with windows 11 and trying to add stuff to the new item context menu (picture below) however if I try and add different file types it appears to break it completely, adding an option for .bat file removes the option for .txt and I can't find a way to get it back. Clearly something has changed with how this menu is handled on 11 however certain file types still work fine (like .bat (it adds the option for new .bat file but removes .txt), adding a ShellNew key under HKCR\batfile\ works as expected but adding that under txtfilelegacy and .txt doesn't work. Some other extensions like .ps1 don't work either... (picture is from my win10 machine where it works normally) Anyone figured out a way to add new filetypes in windows 11?

Budget: £1400 Country: United Kingdom Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Red Dead Redemption 2, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, the rest of my steam library, Unity Game Engine. Other details: I'm gonna be running Pop! OS with a Cinnamon KDE, going to be buying in around November, looking for 1440p at around 144hz. So I build my new pc today. It started into the bios the first time, I changed some settings for the ram etc and then it wouldn’t go into windows (I have windows installed on intel pc and used the same ssd in this amd pc). When I tried to restart it, there was no post, just a black blank screen. The rgb and fans are turned on. I’m kinda clueless here because it seemed to start the first time just fine. specs are: ryzen 5800x corsair vengeance 2x16gb 3600mhz asus strix gtx1060

Pure Power 11 600W CM US 80 Plus Gold OS: Windows 10 Home (21H1), 64-bit https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/46804215 Problem: I recently built a new PC (2 months ago) and its been extremely frustrating trying to figure out what is wrong with it, it can't seem to handle games like Dayz (30-40fps when turning) Escape from Tarkov (20-40fps when turning) 7 Days to Die (40fps when turning) The I haven't tested many other games, albeit for War Thunder, which I can run perfectly with 4x super sampling (4K) and highest settings, all while maintaining 90-100 fps. My main issue is that when I am playing DayZ for example, I will get 180+ frames, then as I turn, it drops down to 40 for a good 5 seconds. This trend repeats in all the other games really (except for War Thunder, so far). While playing, I'll notice that the GPU utilization hovers at 30% and the CPU at 20-40% (even when turning and the frames drop, and with 32gb of RAM I'm starting to think that it isn't a hardware issue. Temperatures are relatively low too, as you can see in the SS. This has really frustrated me as I just upgraded from a laptop with a 1050ti mobile GPU, only to find myself getting lower frames in many situations. I have tried for a while to fix this, the solutions I have tried: Replacing the GPU Increasing the RAM Reinstalling graphics drivers via DDU Disabling HPET Optimizing game settings via NVIDIA Control Panel Changing Power Mode to High Performance I recently did a M-Flash Please if anyone could help me out, this has made my life hell and I just need to figure it out. Thank You

Almost every PC manufacture are getting into the gaming chair these days because anything slapped with the word gaming on it, and you'll see it start flying off store shelves. Gigabyte has made another gaming chair, but this time it's no ordinary gaming chair. This chair is special, so special gigabyte says, No specs on the chair or when it's going to be available, but here is a picture of it More pics in the link article original source BTW,
