Heya guys, Not sure if anyone was waiting for it, but the last time I heard, Lian-Li's new Unifan design was supposed to come out "Q2 2020." That was last reported in CES this january before COVID really took off over at their factory area. So I though, hey, why not send a message and see if they would tell me either an updated release window or maybe even a date. You can read the correspondence below, but spoiler alert, they said release window is now Q3 2020 and that they were at 100% at the factories. Message sent to them Hello, I have searched online about any information regarding the release date of your uni-fan concept last shown at CES 2020, and the last information heard was Q2 of 2020. Now that we are entering Q2, considering the increased impact of COVID-19 to most factories and distribution, is that still so? Also, if you are able to share at this time, a more narrow release window? Thank you kindly for your time and any information you are able to share. Sincerely, *REDACTED* ---------- Reply back from them Hello *REDACTED*, Uni-fan is the new product that will be launched in Q3 J Our factory in China affected by COVID-19 in Feb. But we already back to work with 100% capacity in the middle of March J Thanks! Best Regards, Sandy Chen TEL: *REDACTED* FAX: *REDACTED* Skype: *REDACTED* www.lian-li.com

Here is the specs to my current Rig: AMD Rzyen 1700 Asus X370 Crosshair VI Trident Z G.skill 32 gb RGB Asus vega 64 Asus ryujin 360 Asus Soar Sound car Samsung Evo 860 nvme Sandisk 1tb ssd and 2 more tb of mech HDDs Case Lian Li PC-011 Dynamic razer edition 3x lian li bora rgb fans. Now my issue and I've been trying to research this but can't find much of anything is that, the lian li fans are 3 pin argb controlled. But obviously my asus mobo, has a 4 pin rgb, is there any way of getting the lian li fans to be controller thru the mobo via the razer synape software or am I SOL and stuck to using the remote that lian li included with their fans? I've tried the Deepcool rgb controller but that just made the RGB flip out hard and the software couldn't even see them.

Hi, I'm planning on building an air cooled, would a Noctua NHD-15 fit inside a Lian Li 011D XL case? On Lian Li's website it says the case (O11D non XL) has 167mm of cpu cooler clearance, the NDH-15 is 165mm tall. Is this too tight? Or can I presume the XL would have more cpu cooler space? Thanks in advance!

So, I'm looking at building a new PC. Have been for a while. I want to make sure everything will fit without a problem. This is the build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/jmich96/saved/9W9t8d - Will the NH-D15 fit with both fans, with the RAM installed? - Will I be able to fit 15mm (slim) fans under the GPU? - Is the NF-S12A or the NF-F12 optimal for the rear exhaust fan? Also, the motherboard (as all my reasonably priced options) only has 1 fan header available for a case fan. I'm only left an option to install a fan hub. Is the fan hub in my part list optimal? Can someone link me a smaller (but still reliable) PWM fan hub? I'd really like one I could mount on the rear side of my case, where it is unseen, and plug it into the bottom (not CPU) fan header.

Hey, I have a Lian Li PC-O10 around which I'm planning a custom loop. Other than incremental performance increases and aesthetics, I want to make the system as quiet as possible. There are two locations I can mount dual 120 radiators: on the top and (assuming I'm willing to forego the vertical gpu setup), on the bottom. Given that I will run the fans at low rpm. would it be best to have push-pull with thin rads or push/pull with thick rads? Thanks

Hi LTT, I'm about to make a new build with a Lian Li case. Naturally I want to keep the case clean of finger prints. To this a need a pair of gloves that will protect the case and not leave and finger prints. What gloves have @Slick been using when assembling builds in Lian Li or other cases having brushed aluminium and tempered glass? Hope anyone can help. Kind regards, Shaqalac

Hi! This is Hollis again, and I am wondering about mini ITX builds. I'm thinking of building an overkill console killer, wall mounted in the Lian li PC 07S (Inspiration from Bitwit), and there just aren't any GOOD gpus that can fit in the case. I heard about vertical pcie slots, maybe someone could link me to that cause then I could use a slim asus card like a 480 strix and have it going vertical and then I could just Tetris the psu and it would be good. Thanks for help!

I found this front panel USB C connector on Lian-Li's site: http://www.lian-li.com/en/dt_portfolio/pw-ic01nh45/ Does anyone know where one is available for purchase or where an alternative can be purchased? (I am in the U.K.) (I have preordered a SENTRY and am looking to add USB C to the front I/O.)

Hi all! Edit: 24-10-2018 For the previous text see below. New parts: Asus RTX 2080 Turbo 8G EK Vector RTX 2080 Copper + Acetal EK Vector RTX 2080 Backplate - Black Crucial MX500 1TB (for games) The plan I just bought the Asus Turbo RTX 2080 which I'm going to put in my system this weekend, the EK waterblock and backplate are already in my possession. Unfortunately, the backplate is too long. As can be seen from the last pictures below, I placed my PSU in the lower end of the case which prevents me from using a GPU longer than 270mm. According to the specifications the GPU is 268mm long which should fit. But apparently the EK backplate is longer than that, whereas the waterblock itself does fit. The solution will be to create new tapped holes in order to move the GPU i/o a couple of millimeters back and I might be able to shift the PSU a bit to the front. I also want to try and do some improved cable managment, but it's relatively hard in this case. The old Samsung 850 Pro Series 256GB is going to be a Linux boot system in case I want to do some programming again. Hopefully this won't be too much of an effort but if history has anything to say about it, it will.... I'll try to post as many pictures as possible, so stay tuned! Reason for RTX2080 I've chosen the Asus Turbo over the FE card because the Asus Turbo only has 2 DP port instead of 3. This allows to make it a single slot card. Plus, thinking long term here, once I upgrade again I can use the Asus Turbo in my HTPC which is in a Fractal Node 202 case. I didn't get a 1080ti because the price difference isn't worth it for me to buy an older gen card. Cheers! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Old text ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So I'm going to build a new pc using the Lian Li PC-O6SX It will be water cooled build from which the parts should start arriving at the end of this week. The theme will be black and white and I might throw in some gold, not sure about this yet. For now just let me tell the parts that will be used. PcPartPicker (hardware only): https://be.pcpartpicker.com/list/R4NnM8 CASE: Lian Li PC-O6SX MB: Asus Strix Z270G Gaming CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum 3000MHz 32GB GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 GV-N970G1 GAMING-4GD (from current build, might buy 1080Ti when (if) it comes) PSU: Corsair HXi Series HX1000i (from current system if it fits, otherwise the SilverStone SST-SX800-LTI) Storage: Samsung 960 EVO MZ-V6E500BW + Samsung 850 Pro Series MZ-7KE256BW + WD Red 4TB 5400RPM The water cooling components will be from EK and Barrows, might buy some Bitspower parts but we'll see. Custom sleeving will also be part of the build, though it will be a slow process since it will only by my second time custom sleeving cables.. Note that I know this system might run somewhat hot, I do not mind this. I'm building this build purely for aesthetics. My current system can be seen here: And I also have a small Linux pc which is here: This is it for now and I hope you will enjoy it.

Source: http://www.anandtech.com/show/11418/lian-li-launches-pco12-midtower-three-chambers-eatx-lcsfocused Looks interesting, nice way to show off your GPU coolers in a separate chamber. As usual with Lian-Li cases peasants not welcome, just the case costs $400. Limited height on the CPU coolers (75mm max) - Looks like they expect liquid cooling with space for a 360 top radiator and a 280 in the front. Only support for 2 expansion cards despite fitting E-ATX and ATX. HDMI on the front panel to cater for the VR market.

Hello everyone, I'm in the process of obtaining parts for my first build. The first batch of parts just came in and while I've done a good amount of research I figured it'd be smart to consult some experts before I actually built it or before it's too late to return 'wrong' parts. This is going to be my wife and I's main home computer, and it will be in charge of all home office work (which may soon be running our own small business), but will mostly be used as a gaming PC. Essentially I want this thing to be running strong, fast, and smooth no matter what game I'm playing, and I want it to have enough power that it can be used for content creation if my friend and I ever get around to making youtube videos like we've been threatening to for ages. I also want it to be something I can show off - I'm a big fan of Asus and RGB, so the whole thing is also somewhat focused on Asus components and their Aura software. Price is somewhat fluid as I'm building this computer over time and probably won't have all the components until at least December. I'm mostly looking to get any kind of feedback I can on it, so if you have any suggestions or questions about why I chose what parts I chose, I'd love to hear them. Parts are as follows: Case: Lian Li PC-O11WGX PSU: Corsair RM850X GPU: Asus ROG Strix GTX1080 O8G CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i V2 CPU: Was the Intel i7 7700K, but now I'm looking to use the upcoming i7 8700K. Motherboard: Was the Asus Strix Z270E Gaming motherboard, but now I'm looking for the next ROG motherboard that will have the needed 300-series chipset to use the 8700K.. RAM: 32G(4x8G) of Corsair RGB Vengeance @ 3200. Peripherals: Corsair Strafe RGB keyboard, Corsair Glaive RGB mouse, and Acer Predator Z35P. Storage: Sandisk Ultra II 500G SSD, 2x Seagate 3TB Baracuda HDD's run in RAID1, and still considering an NVMe SSD. Yes, I know this is probably insane for my first build. Yes, I am quite terrified. Yes, I do have a nearby computer store that I can go to if I crap my pants at any point during the build. Can't wait to hear y'all's suggestions, advice, and thoughts! Thanks in advance!

I had just built a new system and I forgot to order screws for my riser. So i let it sit in the case for about a week. I had just received the screws and I went back to my pc to shut it down. Well of course I had no video. So I opened the case and saw this! (Picture below)

Sup Peeps, Here is Powerhouse (Specs in my sig)! I am currently using a Corsair 900D.... Horrible case. Absolutely horrible to work in and a lot of the space is just wasted. Hurt my fingers just trying to get the thumb screws off for the pci expansion slot due to the door hinge mechanism. The unscrewing was ridiculous with the 980ti classy's as they were wider than usual but it is still present with normal founder's 1080ti's. Not Reccommended. Bought it thinking it will be as nice to work in, if not better then my 750D but was unpleasantly surprised. Now I am thinking of repasting my CPU/GPU and and upgrading to hardline tubing. What would be a good case to migrate to for that. I am currently running a custom loop with 2x EX XE480 + 1x XE240 radiators that I would like to carry forward as well. I am looking at the caselabs SMA8, but I would appreciate some alternatives to it as well as it is horribly marked up in price for Australians.. It must be a pretty case regards, ~GabeN

A PC Case with the Following Requirements.. 1. Windowed Side Panel 2. PSU Cover 3. Front with a Door covering Few optical bays and a 280mm Rad Earlier, I was going to pick the NZXT Phantom or Phantom 410 but It's design isn't quite appealing to me now. I would like a Case with a Design Language of NZXT H440, Sides Panels like a Corsair 760T or Clear Windows would be Fine and a Front Door like on a Define XL/R5 or Thermaltake Urban T81.

I got this case for Christmas and absolutely love it, but everywhere I go to look at builds to plan my next one on, I don't seem to find any, to help me along with mine and give me and idea what I can do with this case. There seem to be the only few images out there. And even less when it comes to videos, including the Linus,Holy $h!p, one. I was hoping to find a few people with the case, that could help me along with my build and answer me a few questions. Questions : I have to help me along with my build ===================================================== Is there a CPU Cooler that is 60mm in height that isn't the equivalent of a stock cooler? Can a 65mm CPU cooler fit or will it conflict with the ceiling of the case and not draw in enough air? Noctua L-Type Can you add a closed loop, liquid cooling solution to it without modding? Should I drop the 1150 build and make it 1151, since there is next to no mini itx mobos left for the 1150 CPU? or are the 1150 boards that are still available okay for a gaming rig? since I do have the 4790k, that I have from my last build and would like to save money if needed. Should I wait for CES and see if they don't come out with a new mini itx board to my liking? A white one would be nice.

Hey guys, First post on linus (been a viewer on YT for years). So earlier this year I started on a new PC build in the wall-mountable PC-o5 by Lian Li. Full part list here: Wall-Mounted PC-a I'm struggling to keep the GPU below 80 degrees and the CPU below 85 after 3-4 hours of gaming. The GPU will hit around 75-80 within 20 minutes, while the CPU slowly climbs after those 20 minutes from 60 to 85 (which is obviously not ideal). The goal here is to lower temps while preserving/improving the look of the PC. The PSU is also fully internal with no access to air outside the case, making controling temps even more important. The theme is Black/Orange, although the CPU heatsink fan is currently red, as is the GPU (I already owned this from a previous build). The Motherboard has a few red accents but not enough for me to care honestly. So my question is a 3-parter. The case only has space for 1 fan behind the CPU/motherboard. It came pre-installed with a 140mm un-branded with a filter. Should I replace this with a Noctua or something similar to increase performance. Should I have it in-taking air from behind the PC or exhausting it? The Thermalright heatsink can support 92mm or 120mm fans, but they will not fit if they are more than 1.5 deep (probably 2.0 would fit but there would be no space for any air to get to it). I'd love to have an orange fan here but can't find anything. If it turns out to be impossible to find one I'm ok with using a black fan, but good airflow is important. I plan on replacing the 970 with a blower-style 1080/1080Ti (when released), since the open design is just pushing hot air around the case. Again I want something orange or RGB to fit the theme, currently I'm thinking the Gigabyte 1080 Turbo 8GB OC might be a good option. Would welcome some thoughts, I've never done such a tight build before, looking for advice. Cheers,

Hello to everyone reading. I'm a new PC builder and I just got a new case (The Lian li o11 air) and Im confused on how to install the fans. My case has 5 fans yet I only have 2 fan headers on my motherboard. I noticed the fans also have three connectors which I have not seen in any of the build videos I've watched. I'm guessing that is because the fans are RGB. There are no tutorials from the searching I've done on how to install fans like these. There is a pmw header thing that has a bunch of fan hubs on it. My guess is plug the fans into that but where on earth will that plug into on my motherboard? As you can probably tell I am very confused. I have been stuck on this for a long time now and was close to giving up. Please if anyone can assist me with an explanation or something that would be fantastic

Hey everyone, My case is a Lian Li PC-Q37 and I freakin' love it till my guts. Sadly, starting from a couple month ago one of the 2 USB port in the front stopped working. I tried to test it with a USB tester and no voltage is passed whatsoever... its just dead and I don't get why only one stopped working and not both since its a block powered with a single USB 3 Internal connector... I've looked around and usually the easiest solution (since I'm really not an expert in electronics DIY) is to just replace the front I/O. The problem now is that I cannot find the replacement every where on the web... I've found this I/O on caseking: https://www.caseking.de/en/lian-li-pw-in20ah65t0-i-o-panel-usb-3.0-internal-geli-804.html It looks the same used on the Q37, also the color of the audio ports are the same, but on the page is not reported as compatible the Q37... I don't even know whats the number model of the front I/O (PW-In....) used for the PC-Q37 so I don't even know what to search One of you guys can sort this out?

Hi guys, after 8 long years, I am planning to sell my old rig and build completely new one, based around upcomming game Cyberpunk 2077. I am saving for quite some time, therefore I am aiming for the high end products, which should be a little bit future-proof. If I would buy the components now, this would be my build: Case Lian Li PC-O11D Razer Edition €169.90 AIO Thermaltake Floe Riing RGB 360 TT Premium €174.90 Fans Lian Li BR120 Digital RGB PWM Fan 3er Pack + Controller €49.90 Fans Lian Li BR120 Digital RGB PWM Fan 3er Pack + Controller €49.90 PSU Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB 850W Platinum €164.90 Motherboard MSI MEG Z390 ACE €284.00 CPU Intel® Core™ i7-9700K €399.00 RAM G.Skill Trident Z Royal 16 GB DDR4-3200 Kit €147.90 GPU ASUS GeForce RTX 2080 Ti ROG STRIX A11G Gaming €1,269 SSD Samsung 970 EVO 1 TB €239.80 Monitor Asus ROG Strix XG438Q €1,199.00 Total summ €4,148.20 The overall theme of the build is supposed to be cyberpunk-ish looking. In cyberpunk world, there are bright neon lights etc. and as I have all my peripherals from Razer, I opted for the the Lian Li O11D Razer Edition. As for cooling solution, I went with AIO from Thermaltake and fans from Lian Li, as they are working great in the Razer ecosystem via Synapse. I still hope, there would be an AIO from the Lian Li itself, that would be great. As from the power of the build itself, I opted for the i7-9700K, as I really do not see benefit of i9 CPU with an almost 200€ additional cost. Strictly for gaming, 16 GB of DD4-3200 CL16 RAM should be enough, I am aiming to upgrade in the future of 2020 up to 32 GB. The GPU has been for me nobrainer, as I want the best at the market, for a reasonable price (looking at you Titan RTX). With all this components, I am hoping to achieve stable 60 FPS/60 Hz at 4K with the maximum graphic settings in the game itself for the "panoramatic" gaming experience. When I would opt to play something more demanding in the terms of refresh rate, I would play in 2560x1440 resolution with 144Hz or 120Hz, based upon the monitor available at the time. And this makes a nice segway to the "problem" of mine, the monitor. Agh, the monitor. As it is right now, I am currently playing some titles on the PC and some on my PS4 Pro and I am planning to buy PS5 eventually. Therefore, when I would buy a gaming monitor, I would LOVE to have 4K resolution, higher refresh rate at least at 120Hz and good HDR experience (at least VESA HDR 600 certification). But as it is right now, there is just one monitor available at the market for the normal price (under 1,500€), the Asus ROG Strix XG438Q, which has no G-Sync, but AMD FreeSync 2 HDR. I would be okey with that, BUT, the monitor itself has HDMI 2.0 and DP 1.4, therefore, you can't play in 4K 120Hz with 10-bit color. Does it even make sense, to buy such an expensive monitor, when there is really no future-proof aspect in it? I mean, with the new consoles, there should be HDMI 2.1 with much higher bandwith. therefore better experience and really future-proof features. The whole build with the monitor should be MAX around 4,200 €. Well, that's it. I would love from you guys, to hear some suggestions to the build and some advices about the monitor situation. Thank you!

Hey guys, I'm about to purchase the parts to build my first PC and I have some questions/confusions about the radiator setup for the most optimal result. I'll be using the Lian Li O11 Dynamic case. I have a 360 AIO(Deepcool Castle 360EX) for CPU and 120 Hybrid Kit for GPU(EVGA 2080TI FTW3 HYBRID). that means I can add 4-5 more fans to the case other than the radiators(not sure if the 120 hybrid kit allow 2 more fans next to it or just one). I have three main questions: 1. Where should I place each radiator and fan on the case? 2. At what config should I setup each air fan and radiator fan? (intake or exhaust). 3. Does the orientation of the tubes coming out of radiator and going to cpu block matter? If yes, what's the best way to achieve optimal performance and longevity? Should they come from top? Bottom? To the left of CPU? etc. Thank you all in advance.

Hello! I'm building a new system inside the Lian Li PC O11 Dynamic. And I have the H115i Platinum, I would like to know, if I can mount it on this case. I've seen in many places on the internet that it can mount up to 3 360mm Rads. But I haven't seen anyone talking about 280mm rads. So I was planning on mounting it as a top exhaust, and having fans intaking air on the side. Will it be possible? Does the case suports it?
