Hello folks! My HyperX cloud II got broken so I need a new one to replace it. Right now I am planning on getting the Sennheiser GSP300 or Audio - technica ATH-M30x or hyperX cloud ... again.... Purpose: mainly for gaming (voice chat a lot so I need a loud and clear micro), listening to music (orchestral, metal, rock, jazz) and of course, movies. Off topic: I also want to get some DAC/AMP like FiiO E10K or Schiit Hel just to get rid of buzzing (my hyperX micro was often complained for being extremely buzzing. My motherboard was a B85M and I just upgraded to B460M mag mortar recently but haven't got a chance to test the hyperX mic (don't know if that old mb was the cause of buzzing). So my question is: Which headset fits my purposes most and do I really have to get DAC/AMP. Thanks!

So I bought an Acer Galea 350 headset and I can use it with an USB converter thing(USB Gaming Box) where I can switch between three modes. When I use this converter i start to hear a quiet static sound and sometimes it makes everything sound ear rape until I reconnect it or it starts to blast a loud "explosion" type of sound until I reconnect it. When i use the headset without the USB converter everything works fine but i rather use it with the converter. I tried to reinstall the driver, the HD audio manager and changed from 24 bit, 98000 Hz to 24 bit 48000 Hz. It mostly happens when the CPU reach ~60%.

I recently bought a JBL Quantum 100 to use on my PC for gaming and for discord, I do not seem to make the microphone work using the splitter and plugging them into the correct pink/green ports. I have tried to plug them in on both front and back headphone combos on my PC and it still doesn't work. I have tried using another splitter to no avail. Is there a way I can fix this?

Ok so this is what is going on. I currently play controller on pc for many of my games, and I have been doing this for a while now. Just yesterday I was playing controller on my pc and was playing Fortnite because my little brother was begging me to play it with him. When I went to the restroom and came back I saw my brother using my keyboard and playing Fortnite on my PC because I keep my keyboard plugged in even though I am playing with Controller. Long Story short, when I resumed play I couldn't hear anything. Keep in mind this is with my headphones plugged into my controller. I tested my headphones on my phone to see if they still worked and they did so that cannot be the issue. I feel as if he might have just pressed some keyboard combinations in which now I cannot hear anything. So now when I plug my headset into my controller, I cant hear audio from ANY of the games I play like MW, and Apex Legends. But when I unplug them from my controller and plug them directly into the pc, I can hear everything people are saying on mic and I can hear the game itself, but no one can hear me. Very weird issue at hand here. My current build is a Dell Optiplex 390 with an i7-2600 (3.4 ghz base, 3.8 ghz turbo), 16gb of 1600 mhz ddr3 ram, a gtx 1650 with 4gb of GDDR6, a 256 gb Kingston Sata SSD, and a 1tb HDD. Ill try to answer any questions you may have for me. I also have The Geforce Experience Overlay, and the Origin Overlay if that makes a difference.

Hi everyone of this awesome community, I have had the last two weeks the most head breaking problem whit my Bluetooth. It just disappaered, no trace of Bluetooth ever existing on my laptop. I go to setting but couldn't turn it on or off. couldn't add any devices. I tried all this but whit no luck. Things that DID NOT work: Using the Windows 10 quick actions panel to turn on Bluetooth. Result: This option did not appear at all. Using Control Panel's Bluetooth settings. Result: This option did not appear at all. Device Manager - scanning for hardware. Result: No effect. Drivers for the hidden Bluetooth devices were already up to date. Windows Updates. Result: No effect. Reinstalling the recommended Acer drivers for the package (Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377). Result: No effect. Performing a typical restart of Windows. Result: No effect. Using services.msc to start, restart, or reconfigure Bluetooth-related services. Result: No effect. Reinstalling third party driver packages for the same hardware. Result: The installer would not complete because the Bluetooth hardware was not detected. Windows Troubleshooter for Bluetooth. Result: The troubleshooter would not complete because the Bluetooth hardware was not detected. The one thing that fixed it all!! Do a complete shut down (hold SHIFT and shut down the computer), unplug the computer from all power for 10 seconds, plug the computer in and start the computer. It just reappeared and worked fine. Finally this fucking he-adage of a problem is over. I wanted to share this because i noticed lots of people having this problem. My network chip is a Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 Wireless Network Adapter in a Acer Aspire E5-575G ligthly modified whit extra ram and storage. Have a great day.

Right now I got the Hyperx Cloud Stinger, there are working well and I'm happy with them, but I'm thinking on buying the HyperX Cloud Alpha or II. Is it worth to trade them? (I would sell mine for 30€ to my brother) I already tried the Cloud II and find them really confortable, so mainly I'm lokking for a diference in sound quality, both gaming and in music too, tho I'm not anywhere near an audiophile so I'm not looking for top notch quality, just an overall improvement I guess

Howdy, I'm looking to replace my dying Corsair VOID Wireless headphones with something similar. I'm after suggestions for a headset that is: - Over-ear - Closed-back - Comfortable AF (the Voids are the most comfy pair I've ever worn) - Professional grade (I want really pristine audio quality for music, etc) - No microphone attached, I'm going to pair it with a standing mic - Doesn't need to be wireless (although I am partial to it, I get drunk a lot and wander away from my desk with my headset still on and I keep dropping plugged-in pairs. Plus I love making my friends hear me pee) No firm budget, but I'm maybe looking at under 350 AUD. Thanks for taking the time to help out, I'd really appreciate the help!

I had a pair of astro a40 with mix amp but after 5yrs they died so I got a pair of Steel Series Arc5 but I am having some issues with the buzzing, I play ps4 and want to have ps4 sound and the mic for headset to work in psn party chat so I have the usb into the console but I also wanna have PC audio coming to my headset at same time so I put a Aux cord/ 3.5mm into the pc but the moment I plug it in I get loud buzzing. It only happens if I have both plugged in and admit I am no audio expert and would appreciate some help to fix the issue. Thanks

My headphones are extremely loud. Currently I have them at 25% volume or so on the headphones themselves and my Windows volume is 32. Apps like Chrome have to be set even lower. In addition to the loud volume, my mic is pretty much dead. I ran through 3 headphones, all of which had the same issues. All of their mics died in a few months. Current headphones: HyperX Cloud Stinger Current Motherboard: Gigabyte Z370 HD3P. Would getting USB headphones prevent them from getting damaged by the current? That's what my friend suggested. My PC is 2 years old by the way and I've had these issues ever since I built the PC. What should I do?

My HyperX Cloud 2 headset of 4 years has finally died (well half died sound from left ear piece has stopped) Question is do I buy like for like as it served me 4 years fine and got really good use out of them, or change and explore the horizons. I'm looking to spend roughly the same amount of money around £70 / $90 mark. Main uses are for gaming, but I also listen to a lot of music of varying genres. I have did a little market research but was hoping to get the LTT community suggestions as to what to go for and personal experiences

Hi, I am looking for a good gaming headset. I am fairly new to headsets. I currently use a cheap Turtle Beach headset. So I would imagine that almost anything would be an improvement. I plan on using the headset mostly on PC but I also plan using them on console (if possible). I also will be using them to talk to my friends while we play games on PC and console. Things I am looking for in a headset are: Good audio Good Mic Wireless Thanks for the help, recommendations, and responses in advance!

Region: Germany ( but EU is also ok ) budget: 60-80€ I‘m looking for a headset that can also be used as normal headphones without a mic. originally I wanted to use the Philips SHP9500 ( S ) with a V Moda Boom Pro. The problem is that the SHP 9500 are not available in my region so I searched for an alternative with roughly the same price and found the Sennheiser HD 559. so Are they a good Alternative for the Price? thanks

I see two options in about the 150-180 range that are worth it, the hyperx cloud 2 wireless and blackshark v2 pro wireless. I am looking for wireless and if there are any alternatives please let me know. But if anyone has tried both or one of these please let me know your experience

I'm going to be working from home for the foreseeable future due to covid. Part of that is I answer help desk calls, so I wear my gaming headset pretty much all day. My current razer headset has served me well, but after a few hours it begins to the edges of my ears. I'm looking for a recommendation for a headset that is comfortable for all day use. Any suggestions? I do need it to be USB and I'm not to concerned about mic quality as I have an external microphone that I use, although I would like a built in mic for vocal feedback

Hi guys I'm a bit OC with my wires and I really find my headset wire being unnecessarily long because I'm already plugging it to a USB splitter. Will folding it and holding it together with zip ties damage it? My headset is a Fantech HG22 7.1 Surround. Here's an image of how I did it: Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you!

I have had a problem with my current headphones that use for gaming on my PC. I currently have the Bose QC 3 headphones. Great headphones, great sound quality and noise cancellation. I would carry on using them for gaming but I feel like the cushioning has flattened a bit because after wearing for more than 3-4 hours my right ear starts aching and hurting a lot. So, getting to the point, I'm looking for suggestions on PC headsets, mostly used for gaming with a built in microphone. Budget is around £150. I could push to £200 if my budget is too low. The main thing is they need to comfy for my ears, whether it's thicker cushioning, or firmer or longer lasting cushions. I'd like to keep the same sound quality from the Bose headset, but a lot comfier.

Hey all Been a while since i posted in these forums - things got in the way. Anyway straight to it, Have a laptop (ASUS GL703g - i7 8th gen) with a combo 3.5mm jack for a headset. Recently purchased a new headset (kinda cheap but im on a budget right now in the Philippines) which has USB and 3.5mm jack connector. Both need to be plugged in to function. Problem is, the mic is barely detected. I have to shout into the mic whilst its literally in my mouth for audio to be picked up. I thought it was the headset - but I tried also with my mobile earphones which are the same jack. Same issue. Mic is picked up, but only if the mic part is halfway into my mouth being shouted into. And its very choppy. Drivers are up to date. Im wondering if the jack is just faulty and I shuld go for a USB only headset (but those arent as easy to find around here for a low cost since most are either a jack or dual usb and jack combo) Any advice would be great. Thanks guys
