I recently formatted an old Vista laptop. I installed it, did all the updates and went to IE to download chrome. It kept popping up a security threat for every website I entered that was https! Even Google! Once I downloaded chrome and tried it, the same thing was happening! Some(if not all) Google images couldn't show up neither could I see a YouTube video. My time is all correct, I have tried to restart my wifi, clear ask cache and even deleted McAfee. I even tried to re format the laptop again but nothing! The exact same. Please help me! Thanks

Help!! i was downloading some mods for assetto corsa but the file just stopped downloading i kept trying to download that but the result is the same the download speed number suddenly just dissapear but when i try download some other files its fine the download finished what should i do?

Hello, I use Chrome and wonder if recently there was somekind of SSL update on a global scale because almost every website that I visit shows exclamation mark in browser's address bar. Here's a screenshot of what I mean:

I know this is a bit unusual, but i couldnt find much help elsewhere. My S7 Edge has this weird google button that appears randomly. When pressed it redirects to a website (in Google Chrome) with the url "adsv123" and the "name" is Home123. I havent had much success in finding it in my files either. All help is appreciated!

Hi guys, I am trying to find a tool or browser add on that will show me all of the javascript that is run when I load a web page (obfuscated or not) and then tell me exactly what it is doing. Specifically I am trying to find a tool that will assist me in identifying javascript snippets that are creating tracking pixels (1x1 images) and also be able to identify where these javascript snippets are being downloaded from or where the images they create are being downloaded from. Any info you guys might be able to provide is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance!

So i have this weird problem with chrome browser, the popup window when you are trying to upload something looks very different and its giving no indications as to what files i have selected and its kinda annoying without any visual cues, Lets see Here's how it normally looks and this one is from firefox which looks normal. Here's how it looks on chrome, cant see the selection and the colors are different Sorry i do not know how else can i explain the issue, any help regarding the issue is appreciated. I just recently built a decent Ryzen 5 system and i've been noticing some severe performance issues on my web browser (chrome usually, altough switching to edge or firefox made no difference). Everything else is running fine, but video playback is laggy, scrolling is too, pages load forever and the browser ocasionally freezes. Until this morning where all browsers just keept crashing on me. Turning off Hardware acceleration in chrome didnt help. And then i found the video below, the final step in it seemed to finally have fixed it, but now barely 8 hours later, the performance is already dropping again. Task manager looks normal too (i have 16gb of ram so that wont be the issue), except that the Ethernet keeps spiking up and down, but i dont know if that's just normal when it tries to access data. I thought maybe the wall plug cable (antenna?) on my modem was bad since i've had it for a while and just replaced all ethernet cables, but all other devices work fine. My connection is also a good one, i dont have like "shitty internet". I use Avast premier antivirus, could that be it? Sounds far fetched for such severe issues to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated since it is very annoying and it made me start my stream half an hour late today, which is really not good.

Hi, I want to make my chrome all tab focused on my chrome browser, by default only one tab focused when clicked, but when I minimize my browser my tab is needed to be focused to continue loading, and I need to stay on the page and wait too long to finish, please help to make all tab focused. Hey so recently my youtube on my Pc is not responsive at all. I have a more than powerful enough setup for this ( i5 6600, gtx 1060 ) and nothing heavy running in the background nor any driver updates which have to be installed. My internet connection is also perfectly fine and fast enough, the videos are playing perfect with good quality but the general youtube interface doesnt react immediately only after a few seconds when wanting to search for something. What is the cause of this problem? Btw. im using firefox if this matters

Right so I really don't know what's going on so some of you might be able to help me or verify this. I started using FFQ when it got hyped and launched, and it was great! No crashes, no slowdowns, everything was just as I expected. But fast forward to last month I've started noticing lags when searching anything on google and shrugged it off. Now, its down to the point where "Google.com" loads up, but if I type anything in the search bar on the website or the URL bar, it just keeps loading, and takes about at least 45 seconds to produce the results page, I've tried to compare it to chrome and as expected, chrome dished out web pages almost instantly. I have tried clearing cache, deleting all plugins, deleting history etc (because someone said that Firefox chokes up if you browse too much? what?!) And even to the point of MULTIPLE clean re-installations, but the problem persists. (yes im on the most recent version of Firefox, since it likes to update automatically anyway.) Honestly, I'm just thinking of switching back to chrome, its not like FFQ isn't stable for me, but I really don't want to wait forever for my web pages to load. Have you guys experienced similar situations, if so have you found a fix that's not already mentioned above?

Hi guys I work at a school and am head of IT (support, anyways. I don't teach). Around sometime last year, we upgraded to Windows Server 2016. As of right now, the server is working fine: all of our apps work, internet access is OK and etc. But the problem is that when a link is created, it does not open. For example, lets say that I created a shortcut on all of our user's desktops. On some PCs, when the shortcut is double clicked, the website will open with no problems, but on others, a 'Choose application to open 'link' with', but there are no apps listed there. All of our desktops have Edge, IE and Chrome, for the pcs where the links open, it opens with Chrome. Any help guys? Cheers

As you can see in the picture, chrome has washed out colours comparing to Firefox (and also Microsoft edge). Also, sometimes text and images seem less sharp in chrome. But why? and can I change it?

Hey there, so for the past few weeks chrome sometimes won't load websites for 5-10 minutes after i start my pc or connect to different connection. Note: It works perfectly fine on firefox. Do you have any idea how i can fix this?

i bought Acer A515-51G-53RP laptop , it came with an older version of windows 10 and then i upgraded it and edge just stopped playing videos on internet the video would buffer alot with no audio , So i went to the fourms at microsoft's website they told me to reset the browser , change gpu playback to software playback , at the end nothing worked and they said to do a repair upgrade or reinstall windows ! im scared to do it . When printing a webpage, both Chrome and Firefox crash. Chrome crashes when I change the printer selection to the network printer, Firefox crashes when I click the print button. MS Edge refuses to connect to the printer at all. I can print from any other program (Word, PDF etc.) In my house this is happening on my desktop, Surface Pro, 2 ASUS laptops and an HP laptop. There are hundreds of results on Google for this type of problem, and all suggest clearing cookies, scanning for malware, reinstalling drivers etc which I have tried. Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated. Hello, I came upon a problem with my pc that results in screen going black using internet browsers and after almost half a year of trying to fix it myself I'm asking for help. When the screen goes black the sound goes on but sometimes it glitches into strange noises. Howewer I did not encounter that problem in any game or different activity on my pc. All my drivers are fresh and system was installed clean yesterday as I was trying to fix this myself for a 100 time. Problem: Opera and Google Chrome keeps saying that I have no internet connection even though I have. OS: Windwos 7 Pro 64bit. Specs: Lenovo Thinkpad T420. Bios Version: LENOVO 83ET79WW (1.49 ), 9/5/2016 More info: I opened the Private Browsing of Opera and enabled the VPN function and it works. Disabling it makes it not work. Private Browsing of Google Chrome does not work. I am using Mozilla FireFox the latest version to post this. I tried to reinstall the Google Chrome and restart the laptop it does not work. What do you think the cause of the problem? Is it my ISP? Hope somebody can help me.

I think a lot of people here will relate with me, when i say that i'm not satisfied from 90% of the softwares that i'm using. There's aways something isn't it. Therefore i decided to get a bit of a different aproach with choosing browser. Some of you might find it interesting. There is a spread sheet with data i filled up for some browsers. I intendet to add much more data and test in there, but the true is i got bored. The reason for that is that the results start showing the things that we all know: - Firefox is slow and sometimes studers. (I'm unsatisfied by firefox performance since the 3.6 alpha update, this was the pivit point for me) - Chrome is resource heavy (I don't care if youtube will switch fastef between 720p and 1080p, but i do want to be able to choose which key should be the back button) - Chromium is Chrome (some might argue that it's other way around, but face it chrome is pulling the strings) - IE is fast and light, but somehow still shity and unreliable (If you don't know what i'm talking about, use it for one week and eather you'll understand, or be satisfied the new fastest browser you got ) Edge seem to be not as fast and light, as IE, but also not as shity and unreliable as well. (Still have the same issues as IE, but hopfully they'll reach a point to be a player, at least that's where they are heading) - Opera is packing average score with simewhat pleasing and usefull UI, also heavy almost as Chrome. (Never was the "something" browser in my opinion but it was prefered choice for many people. I expect to become worst every update since the new managment. Let's hope i'm wrong) - Vivaldi slow and clunky but packed with features, also heavy as Chrome. (I think this will be the new browser for the people who uses Opera, when Opera falls. Let's hope they got Vivaldi up and runnig to that point, as now i think it's not yet finished product.) From all those complaning you are propably wondering witch browwser I'm using. I'm using Safari as it is the best...no,no i'm just kidding . I use more than one browser. Chromium for general browsing and firefox for those places that i need to use some security protocols that only IE and Firefoxe can handle properly. Hope you find the read usefull, somehow. I tried to download a game and I realized that it was super shady when I tried to install it so I stopped before actually installing it, but I think I got infected with a browser redirect. Every once in a while chrome opens a new tab with some random webpage. One of them was even the 'your computer is infected, call microsoft' one, which luckily didn't infinitely loop like it had before. I ran AVG full computer scan as well as the rootkit scan and it still happened after reboot. I looked online, but it was suggested I download tools that at this point I really don't trust. Any help would be appreciated.
