The title says it all, Im wondering in what MoBo I should buy. Here are my options: ASRock B450M PRO4 MSI B450M BAZOOKA ASUS TUF B450M PRO-GAMING I will use an 2200G paired with an RX 570 8GB. (The 2200G is cheaper than the Ryzen 3 1200 here, well ain't that a kick in the head.) The MoBo will be housed in a Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L with 3 FractalDesign fans. The 2200G will be cooler by the stock AMD Wraith Stealth, hence I wont overclock. Here are things I give a shit about: VRM Temps VRM Phases Functionality/Reliabilty Here are things I don't give a shit about: BIOS aspect Marketing Overclocking Thanks in advance.

About 2 months ago my ASRock Fatal1ty X370 Professional Gaming crashed and will no longer post. The RGB will light up but the power and reset buttons will not light up. The troubleshooting steps I did are the following: 1. Reset cmos 2. Reseated ram, cpu and video card 3. Tried without video card 4. Tried without ram 5. Tried without cpu, ram and video card 6. Tried a different PSU After trying all this nothing. Still just RGB on motherboard. At this time I think it's a dead motherboard but I don't have another ryzen to try. Any ideals would be wonderful. Thanks in advance. I got this board and have my 8700K i7 in it; ASRock Motherboard (Z390 Taichi Ultimate) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HYBV9TV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_akhlCb4X6S2GW I am having issues with the Corsair ICue, Intel RST (sometimes locks/crash the reload), software installing and G300s Logitech mouse; the software worked fine on my old system it was a 4770 I7. But now Windows 10 will lock up and not install both 1803 and 1809 OS builds; had no issues before my new build. Should I replace/return this motherboard and if, so what should my replacement be? Other then this issue the board works fine. Bios is the most recent version as well. Parts some of the parts I used in the pic. Thanks in advance LTT peeps and sorry for the mass edits; it’s late in my zone. -
Hello world! Need to have working legacy pci slot and want current i7 or i9 From motherboards that have legacy pci, asrock z370 pro4 seems ok and supports i7 9700k and i9 9900k. Question is Would pci slot work with those cpu's? Or should i pick i7 8700k which is proven working solution. Thanks

For the past month or so my PC has been freezing up. I built this computer myself last year and never used any anti-virus software on it, so I naturally assumed that there could have been some malware. So, I did a clean reset of windows and went to reinstalled it. This took about a weekend as each time I would go to re-install windows it would freeze up while installing windows. So, it seemed to me that it had something to do with my GPU as in the mornings it would go longer without freezing and after it had been on most of the day it would freeze more frequently. I ended up having to make a USB with the most updated version of windows 10 so I could quickly install my graphics card update before it froze. I believe I have updated all my drivers however the ASRock live update & app shop downloaded and it says I need the "AMD ALL in 1 with VGA Driver" (I brushed this off as I don’t have an AMD GPU). I updated my bios from 3.00 to 3.40. There are newer updates however I have been hesitant to do much in the way of messing with my bios. I ended up getting my PC stable however now once and a while during gameplay it will freeze up. In the reliability and problem history it kept giving me an Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation. Which was strange because I kept seeing the same common fixes for it online which weren’t working for me. However, I just noticed today that this error message pops up every time I restart my computer so I don’t think it has any relation to the video freezing. I have spent hours and days on this and I have no idea what could be causing it. I downloaded CAM by NZXT and the GPU load is not very high when it crashes. I was streaming PUBG last night and it worked just fine, no issues. But today playing DAYZ it froze again. I also thought it could be the stress of 2 monitors but it still crashed with just 1. Thanks for taking time to read this. Here are my Specs. MONITOR1: Samsung SyncMaster monitor 1920x1200 MONITOR2: HP Pavilion 20bw CASE: Rosewill Computer Case - ATX Mid Tower CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700X GPU: EVGA GeForce 1050 Ti FTW ACX 3.0 4GB GDDR5 MB: ASRock AB350M Pro4 AM4 AMD SSD: ADATA Ultimate SU700 2.5" 120GB SATA III HD: Toshiba P300 3TB FAN: Noctua NH-U12S RAM: Team T-Force Vulcan 16GB (2 x 8GB) 2400 PS: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G3 OS: Windows 10 CD: ASUS DRW

Hello all! I am making my first custom build (white/red colors) and was curious about which of the 2 mobo's is better/more preferred (gaming would be the primary purpose of the build). I'm currently looking at:https://www.microcenter.com/product/512012/prime-z390-a...https://www.microcenter.com/product/512564/z390-phantom...Both are close in price and I should be able to get an additional 30 USD off because I'm bundling it with an appropriate cpu. I'll be using an i7-8700k cpu, geforce gtx 1070ti gpu inside the Lian Li PC-011 dynamic case (still in the process of collecting the rest of the parts). I was trying to somewhat match the colors (primarily white/red) but obviously quality > aesthetics.Have any of you guys used these boards? Any opinions about the two boards or their brand are welcome! Thanks and I really appreciate the help.all the best, -Rob

So I stripped my ethernet port a while back and ordered a TP-Link PCIe ethernet adapter. Went to plug it all in and turning it on results in a screen asking to plug in a Molex cable. I don't have 3 slots used, only one graphics card and the ethernet cable, so why is it asking for Molex?

I have a 8600k and a 2080 Ti, and I need a motherboard to go with them. I am not sure which one to get. I was going to go with the Asus Z370-A, but I didn't like the colours, then I thought about the ASRock extreme 4, but I read that the PCIE slots aren't very reinforced. I then thought about the Z370-F, but the review for that weren't great either. I was going to just go with that but then somebody linked me this: https://www.overclock.net/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=99753, and on that the Z370-F is below the Z370-A. So now I am completely stuck. I have been asking about this on reddit, but I wanted some fresh opinions, so I thought I would post it here. I was hoping to buy the motherboard tonight (about 7 hours away where I am), and any feedback or suggestions would be great. Preferably I would like to keep it under £200.

To make it short and clear, most of the parts are brand new and used only for a couple of days. Motherboard : Asrock ab350m-hdv Processor: Ryzen 5 1600 stock cooler Ram: Adata xpg 8gb 2400mhz Gpu: - Yesterday I turned off the PC and everything seemed fine. I woke up today and grabbed another gpu (gigabyte gtx 550ti) from a friend and thought it would be a good idea to install it because I had an old one and I was in need of something better until i buy a new one for myself. So out with the old one and in with the new and I remembered that i didn’t pull the power cable out. I pull it out, and them connect the pcie cable to gpu. I turn on my pc and the I notice there is no internet. I instantly realise that I could have shorted someting while putting the new gpu. But the problem is my router still detects a signal from computer when I plug the power cable in PSU. Which means that it still sends out power to LAN socket. And also the USBs that are on a same chip is working fine without ant problems. Could it still be that I’ve shorted my LAN port only without damaging usb ports on the same chip and how is router getting signal that it’s connected then. P.S. Tried reinstalling drivers and pluging in different cables, even straight from the internet box and nothing changed. LEDs on LAN port also doesn’t work, because it sais it cannot detect any cable. P.S.S. There is no visible physical damage on the motherboard.

Like the title, I'm looking for an encryption module, like the TPM ones, to use it together with BitLocker's Windows 10 function, and I have that motherboard. I see it has the TPM slot and in the manual is stated the motherboard supports AsRock's TPMS1 modules. My question is, since I'd like to use the most recent tpm module possible for my motherboard, does it also support the new TPM2-S V 2.0 I see in this AsRock page? Let me know guys, thanks in advance ?

I'm looking for memory for a Ryzen 7 2700X and an ASRock Fatal1ty X470 Gaming K4 On AMD:s product page it just says "System Memory Specification: 2933MHz" and ASRock:s product page it says "Supports DDR4 3466+ (OC)" Also on the motherboards QVL is a load of different memory configurations, all of which I presume are tested and supported I also read that the CPU only supports / is better with SDRAM, correct me on this one and how is this different from normal DDR4 memory?

I have an asrock b450 pro4 and a ryzen 5 1600. I have tested corsair 3000 mhz , crucial 2400 mhz , and some other 2133 rams but none of them are stable. Some of them didn't even post. Is it because of my processor being 1st gen ryzen and mobo being 2ng gen ? I'm thinking of buying Adata xpg spectrix d40 (AX4U320038G16-DRS) . Will it support my build ? Will it be able to run stable at 3200 with my hardwares? Will my processor be able to support this ram with 3200mhz with my motherboard? I'm so screwed. Please Help!

Im having an issue getting to post. I have an asrock z77 extreme 4 mobo with an i5 3450 cpu and some pny ddr3 1866 ram. the motherboard has a post code readout on it and it cycles through a bunch and eventually gets stuck on code 4f which according to the manual is "DXE IPL is started"; I have no idea what this means. Ive replaced the CMOS battery and also tried clearing it using the jumpers. Any idea on what I can do?

If you're in Canada like me and bought the Asrock z390 taichi on Black Friday with the $40 dollar off deal, there's a good chance you're not going to get that rebate. You have to submit it online and get it postmarked within 10 days of ordering it and with the delays due to the Canada Post strikes, you're not likely going to get it in time to get that rebate. They also expect you to cut out the part of the box that has the sticker on it that has the serial number and all of that to send in with it so you can't submit it before it comes in the mail even though the rebate form becomes available on the newegg site right away. I managed to just submit mine in time by a few days, but I ordered it a week before Black Friday. I also didn't cut out the sticker. I used a heat gun on it, because I'm not destroying the box. We'll see if they care about that I guess Anyways, just a heads up that if it comes within 10 days, submit for your mail in rebate right away! You don't have time to wait a day or two.

Well, this isn't new to my pc but lately the 2 hours to freeze come down to 30 minutes. I noticed a buzz noise like static on my headset when the pc freeze and then the led from the HDD Indicator (now i have a ssd also, and OS totally new and the problem is still there). Like i play a videogame and 30 minutes later the PC freezes and then just remains there and in like 2 minutes restart automatically. My specs are: Ryzen 3 1200 GTX 1050Ti St3000 (001 or something like that is a Seagate 3tb and finish in 1 the model) Now i have also (Warframe and OS) in the SSD but it's crashing. Corsair Led Memory 3000mhz C15 Ab350M PRO4 (i didn't updated the BIOS/UEFI) and a Cx550m refurbished. Now i think the pc crashes can be: 1.- temp related problems. 2.-KMSPico/Auto (Windows Activator, but i actually don't believe this is the problem). 3.-Power Supply. PD: When im gaming also i hear in the headphones and tv (or whatever i have selected for audio) the buzz but like a little static, not so long like when it freezes (when the pc freeze is like hearing the game but can't move and then a buzz for like 10 sec.).

Hi, I was wondering if the Ram compatibility list is accurate on ASRock's website. The reason I am asking this is the ram kits I have picked out are not currently on their website. I picked my parts on PCPartpicker.com and looked at the motherboard ram compatibility and the ram kits I want are on there. I am doing a Ryzen APU build. The link to the ASRock website ram list- https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/X370%20Killer%20SLIac/ind... The link to the PCPartpicker list- https://pcpartpicker.com/products/memory/?compatible_wi... I was looking at Team-Vulcan 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory as it is the cheapest 16 gig RAM kit available. I know that RAM speed is highly important with an APU but I'm not sure about the way it will affect performance as it is from a small manufacturer. The motherboard I am looking at is the ASRock X370 KILLER SLI/ac ATX AM4 Motherboard. Thank you for your time, Grant

Hi. I'm building a new PC and the last part I need is ram. Though, im confused wich one to get, especially with Asrock QVL list which kinda confusing. My setup is CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 GPU: GTX 1060 6gb Motherboard: Asrock ab350m pro4I I don't think I need to name the rest. I'm mainly going to use it for video editing and some gaming. My criteria is 16 GB (2x8 GB), high RAM speed (3000-3200), that it is compatible with Asrock ab350m pro4 and Ryzen 5 1600. And that it's under 180$ (as cheap as possible).

Hi guys, I have a TP Link T6E PCIE card but I'm having some trouble fitting it into my system. My motherboard is a Asrock z87 Pro3 and I'm running Windows 10 (Fall update). This doesn't seem like it should be complicated, but I can't seem to get it right. Here's what I have tried so far. PCIE1 Slot: The card fits here but the heatsink is quite close to the back of the GPU. I wonder how safe this is. See the attached photo. I've pressed on the wireless card and it's not going anywhere near the gpu back plate unless I attack it with a hammer (and I don't plan on doing that anytime soon!). I'm also wondering if this has any adverse effects on my GPU power as someone mentioned online somewhere that nothing should go into PCIE1 if you have a GPU in PCIE2. I'm not sure exactly what was meant by it. PCIE2 (x16): The GPU (dual slot) sits here for obvious reasons PCIE3 Slot: I have tried this. The PC detected it, but it seems very, very close to the GPU fans, and is essentially covering one half of one of them. It's a dual fan GPU and I would worry about airflow. PCIE4 Slot: This would look like the ideal solution, but when I press the card in I notice that the wireless' heat-sink presses against the Front Panel Audio Header/Cable. This could be harmless, but I don't know, but it's enough pressure that you can physically feel it as you press the card down. I haven't powered on the machine with the card in this place. Thanks for reading. I'd appreciate any advice!
