My biggest surprise with the Toms Hardware thing is that anyone trusted them in the first place. 

Fuck their forums too while we're at it.

    I can't say I ever found their resources particularly helpful. What happened?

    They did some weird thing with RTX cards and saying you should always buy the newest available card... the article was very, very weird. It contradicted itself more than once too.
