    Agreed.

Sure, TSMC will be able to build 10nm, who can't? The real question is what is their yield? If they print 10nm wafers and half of them fail, no one would buy from them. Maybe Nvidia since it seems like they are in bed together.

Heck even Apple is running from TSMC and going back to Samsung. You know if Apple is crawling back to Samsung, there's something very wrong with TSMC's 16nm yields.

Don't get your hopes up... Just cause you have the technology doesn't mean you can do it...

Edit: I realized right after posting this I was a tad vague I meant don't get your hopes on products 10nm anytime soon as TSMC has had 20 and 16nm machinery for a while and Nvidia's 900 series still wasn't 16nm like some rumors were implying and I doubt the 1000 series will be either

ijKs Snow got a reaction from TheSLSAMG in Apple to Change Controller IC and TLC NAND Flash in 128GB iPhones
"According to industry sources on Nov. 6, the U.S. smartphone giant has decided to discontinue its use of triple-level cell (TLC) NAND, since the company believes that the functional defects plaguing the 64GB iPhone 6 and the 128GB iPhone 6+ stem from a problem in the controller IC of the TLC NAND flash. The controller IC in question is reportedly made by SSD maker Anobit, which was sold to Apple in 2011."

Seems more like an in-house problem since Anobit is owned by Apple now, and they made their own controller for the flash drives.

LG G3 will be the first smartphone to get the Google Lollipop upgrade starting this week.

Other then the new Nexus 6/9 which comes with Lollipop pre-installed, LG G3 will start rolling out Lollipop upgrades starting in Poland this week.

That's what I call fast updates. Saw good reviews for G3 and this fast update wins them some extra brownie points.

Yeah, not sure about S2, but I've been hearing that burn-in issues are disappearing for OLED panels every new generation. But, it should be fixed by the time OLED monitors/TVs hit affordable prices.

LG has always been known to have one of the best screen to phone ratio sizes on their smartphones, but they are taking it another step further.

LG Display will be using the new Neo Edge technology where they will put together the circuit board, touch panel, and backlighting into one single unit.

The display they showed off has a bezel as thin as a credit card edge. 0.7mm

    Benefits of Neo Edge
    - Block light leakage
    - Displays are now water proof and dust proof
    - Getting rid of bezels

These new screens will go into mass production next month and will be sold first to China (not sure which Chinese companies are getting these new displays first, probably Oppo and Huawei).

I am personally more interested in this Neo Edge technology to be implemented on LG monitor/tv panels too. I would love a "bezel-less" monitor.

    Make it happen LG.

If people do not accept what I have in my pocket, they will not be getting my money, simple as that.

Of course, I have a couple of debit cards and a credit card (and my google wallet card), so I'm fine. But when (and if) I start using NFC more, and they only accept apple pay, or only accept anything else, I will leave my stuff at the counter, because I'm not going to start installing more and more apps just to use my money.
