Oh, I abslutely would like to do some OC in the future which is why I went for the K version. Sorry if I was unclear!  
I guess I'll take a look at some benchmarks.

There are the B, C and D halls. The D hall would be the "party" hall with the big scene and acitivites as well as the artists. B is the streamer hall and is not as crazy. You can meet up with big streamers there (For example I saw LegendaryLea there today and I watch her from time to time). C is where all the tournaments happen but ofcourse you can sit there too.
 
And right now there's a competition going on for a ROG SWIFT monitor

Dreamhack here in Sweden, the largest LAN in the world as far as I know
Took ~4 hours to drive here with a trailer for the chairs (SO worth it!) so idk if that counts as local.

Update: Problem solved!
I did both of these things, firstly messed around in the BIOS (don't know if this actually helped but sure could have) because I was pretty sure I had the latest drivers.
When I first tried to download the drivers I got an error and had to update through Intel's Driver Update Utility for it to work Then, after restarting the computer with the new driver my second monitor is now working.

I was about to do this
But when I went into the BIOS to do it I couldn't find that option. My friend then said I should see if there was any new BIOS updates for my board and yeah, there was hehe. I updated them and went into the BIOS to check if I could enable fast boot and luckily I could
Now my computer is booting fast as normally

I feel kinda stupid right now... I'll try that after school tomorrow

Okey, I've now (1 week later....) decided that I'm gonna get a 970 because I really don't mind keeping the extra money and maybe buy something later in 2015 when I'm going to the US
But now the question is: Which 970? In my opinion the MSI card looks the best and would fit my black and red build. Gigabyte's card has the highest clock (speed?) but is larger than the others. Asus Strix card also looks good but from what I've seen/heard it performes a bit worse than the MSI and Gigabyte cards.

I'm gonna take a look at this stuff in the BIOS and see what I can do. And sadly no, my motherboard does not come with a built in fan controlling program.
