  1. Hello everyone, I have a 5900x system with an aorus pro wifi x570 motherboard and 4 x stick of Corsair vengeance rgb ram. 2 x look to have Samsung chips and 2 x have micron. All 4 share the same part number but when I turn Xmas or even manual overclock the ram it will stay at 2133mhz and I’m lost as to why. The bios shows I applied it yet on the right side it will still show 2133mhz. This go for I’m wimdowns 10/11. Any ideas what’s going on and how to fix
  2. Hello all, I currently run a ryzen 5900x system which is great. Currently run a few VM and game on it as well but a Dual Xeon E5-2698R system has come up for a good price and just wondering what its gaming performance would be like ? I know its not what Xeons are for but i would also like to run more VM to learn more about using Linux along with other things so having 40 cores over 12 cores would be nice.
  3. No overclock on the cpu, tho might look into as under full load only hitting 60c so it has allot of wiggle room
  4. Ok I never had this issue but my last rig was intel, but even when I manually overclock the ram it still doesn’t work
  5. Hello everyone, I have arours x570 pro wifi, 5900x, 64gb (4 x 16gb 3200mhz) Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro and a evga 3080 FTW. The issue im having is my ram is running at 2133mhz and it will not change. I load the XMP profile which is for 3200mhz and apply it but it still shows in both bios and windows 2133mhz. I did notice that 2 x dim says they are Samsung 16gb transfer (or something along those line) and the other two are Micron 8gb Transfer. Any ideas on how to solve this issue ?
  6. Hey all, got a nice deal on a i7 7700 rig that i plan to buy a i9 10900 and a Gigabyte B460 AORUS PRO but im just wondering if the mounting is the same as lga 1151 as my cooler i have now is a really good one If not i will look at going ryzen then
  7. Hey all, hope this is the right place to post this as i guess its network gear haha. About to build my dream network set up. Now I'm wondering if SSD in the dream machine pro and the NVR is worth the extra cost and hit vs normal HDD. Currently I'm looking at get 5x Samsung QVO 2tb drives. Plan is to have a totally of 10 x 1080p and 2x 4k cameras. I imagine the plan back would be nice and snappy vs WD purple drives ?
  8. bitdefender is meh, i had it when trying different vpns out and found its speeds not to great. For me personally nord vpn was the best but PIA was in a very close second
  9. Got network ports on each floor ? Or will only one be hard wired then each mesh node be wireless ?
  10. I believe asus has something along those line on its routers. QoS or something like that. Not a feature i can say i have used since i have a 1gbps connection.
  11. Well i would say try a different cable/ port and see if that solves it and double check your drives on your pc
  12. Would just invest in a UPS. I have 960w unit for my pc. Little over the top but got it for a good price
  13. have you tried another phone ? You are very correct about not getting the speeds. I have them in my house and my 2.4ghz is 100mbps both ways (little more but never used 2.4ghz) and 5ghz is 600mbps. From what i can tell you have yours set up like mine as well
