  1. Have done voltage and also tried running ram faster but crashes over 3000mhz
  2. Hey all so I just upgraded from a i7 8700 to a Ryzen 3700x with a b450 steel legend board and I used my 2666mhz hyper x fury ram kit from my intel system. Now at first I was having massive issues with my ram and Ryzen and then I updated the m/b bois to the newest one and it was working a treat. But out of the blue a week or so later it’s blue screening with random memory errors codes (never the same) and some times it will boot with 2 stick of ram and crash but then load all 4 next time. Honestly I’m listing my mind over this and think might be wise to get new ram ?
  3. Updated to bios 3.20 and solved my issue. hope it helps someone else
  4. Hey all. So I decided I’ll upgrade my rig from my i7 8700 and get a Ryzen 3700x and I’m starting to regret it now. So I have a b450 steel legend as rock board and 4x8gb hyper x 2666mhz ram stick. Samsung evo 840 m.2 and a couple other hdd/ssd. Any ways the board with all ram stock in may boot 1 out 10 times other wise it will just keep restarting and when I finally can get it to go correctly and install win 10 I get error 0x80070570. Only way I can get win 10 to install is with a single stick in. I’m honestly super lost. Ram sticks should be fine as I moved them from my old rig which o was using just today
  5. So I now have a few servers and been looking for a second hand switch, something fairly easy to set up as I have never played with switches before. Unsure if the Cisco Catalyst 3750E-24TD-S Switch will be worth buying or not. Have 1gb fiber. Or is there anything good I could look into buying ?
  6. Look at pbtech ? they have loads of good 550-650 psu under $100
  7. cheers for this. had no idea about this. made my life a little easier now haha
  8. wouldnt run a rust server on that cpu. wont be a fun time. Also want atlest 6gg for rust alone if not more. Also as for os i personal run windowns 10 pro as all my servers are dual cpu but linux is another good option as all those game servers are fairly easy to set up.
  9. Just running game servers off it. Doing it super well i must say. Have people over in the usa (im from nz) saying the server has less lag than servers closer to them normal have.
  10. i just did this, and honestly just slapped win 10 pro on and off i went. Far cheaper to buy, tho will be a little more power hungry
  11. cheers done that and solved my issue.
  12. Hey so i just brought a HP Proliant DL380 G7 dual x5650 server to run game server from home. Got my os installed no issue but i cant get into the bios to move the ram from 667mhz to 1333mhz. I am using a usb keyboard and i have a funny feeling ill need a ps/2 keyboard or is there something else im missing ?
