  1. Well in Europe too and weirdly my usual online retailer sells the 5700g at 419€ they usually are more expensive than amazon for example but on amazon the cheapest I can find is 489€ but it's not sold by amazon directly. At 419€ it's actually not too bad but I've seen it at 379€ on German website caseking.de so I wished the price was closer to that but well...
  2. I didn't even try the tool, I usually upgrade the OS when I change my hardware but the secure boot is annoying as hell if you want to boot from USB, it just makes your life harder for no reason. I've never used a new OS at launch because I always remember the problem at the beginning even windows 10 at launch was that great.
  3. I still use Windows 7 daily online, I haven't had any problem as long as you don't go or download from site you shouldn't, you would be fine.
  4. I can't remember the price and the module size for DDR4 when it came out in 2014 even if it was announced way before that, on google I found 16Gb 2*8 from kingston was around 220USD for DDR4-2133 so the price doesn't seem so high for DDR5 also for DDR4 the price drop 40% in the next 6 months. Not sure with the chip shortage something like that will happen this time but we'll see.
  5. The card is expensive but the water cooling parts are not cheap as well, an EK gpu water block for 6800/6900 is around 200€ (maybe 180 usd) you add the pump and radiator then the card is a little different than a regular 6900XT so the price doesn't really surprise me. The Sapphire 6900 XT water cooled is sold 2599$ on Newegg, (same price in the EU 2599€ ) https://www.newegg.com/sapphire-11308-08-20g/p/N82E16814202404 Not really sure how they compare, anyway one is oem only so can't really compare...
  6. I'm now using 2FA everywhere I can even if I have different email and password depending on the importance of the website so it gives me less trouble, I know one of my email is part of a leak but I don't really use it for anything too important but I do get a lot of spam...
  7. nail polish or acetone should remove that easily, I've actually never seen anything like that before all my mouse have always been in a colored plastic and not painted on. Which brand is that?
  8. Not really they won't restart it but it's moving the servers to SBG4 and RBX/GRA and then the rest of SBG1 will go to the future SBG5. The founder Octave Klaba has been pretty good with the work update on twitter.
  9. The one in the picture is an old Corsair ax450, my corsair PSU HX650 bronze, I bought in 2010 is semi modular and the cable for the motherboard power looked like what you see in the picture but all the sata or pci-e power cable are all black. I just checked Corsair Website they have a non modular PSU the VS series it's only 400, 500 or 600 watts and it looked like what you would like. https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Power-Supply-Units/vs-series-config-2016/p/CP-9020118-NA#tab-tech-specs Just one thing well 2 things non modular so all the extra cable stay there and it's only White certified so that's below Bronze.
  10. I was really curious of what was a gamery PSU, I really thought I was going to find an RGB PSU I've never seen before. The PSU have now that more finished looked for a while, you can still see the info you want, it's just when the PSU started to be at the bottom of the case it was on the side of the mother board now. You usually don't need to look at those infos more than once. Some non modular or semi modular PSU still might have what you're looking for, like that
  11. Not sure why people always calling clickbait what was clickbait about this title? or the video with the perf of the new Ryzen 5000 cpu of course the new cpu server would be good, welle even if we haven't seen real benchmark from anyone else than AMD it does make sense no?
  12. Well the datacenter in container is apparently nothing new and it's used from what I saw on google well even google works or have worked with it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRwPSFpLX8I but it's not the building that caught on fire. But yeah I didn't think of it like that the building maximizing airflow, would also maximize fire propagation and smoke. I never witness computers starting a fire, there's quite a lot of metal, that's why I was surprised at the size of the fire. I work in the hotel industry and our fire safety is pretty hardcore from fire detection to what kind of paint or fabric we can use in rooms or corridors also it's mostly fire retardant materials. I know almost everything still burn at some point but I'm surprised how industrial building burn that big specially were they don't stock flammable materials and the interior is most of the time bare walls.
  13. That fire is pretty impressive and that building is pretty recent 2017 I believe, I use OVH but I've not been impacted but I'm still very curious on how or what started the fire, I remember seeing how they were testing different way to reduce the cost of cooling, like hollow building to have more airflow and also Strasbourg-1 was build using container after a long testing period and a deployment in Roubaix-4. From what I see the building that caught fire used their tower design with the hollow part, it's the middle building in that rendering. Maybe we'll know more at some point.
  14. What you're looking for is load balancing but it will never really work like most people think. For example it will use one of the connection for downloading a file but you'll never be able to use both connection for it but in any case you want do that using hardware to get the best result.
  15. Losing a wallet because an disk failure or something similar I could understand but because you lost the password, I use pretty strong passwords and usually have 8 different one depending on what they access, I change them for new ones when I feel it's been too long they have been used and even if they are not written anywhere I remember also those I stopped using specially for something as important.
