thanks for your quick reply, ı did it using resource hacker as @mkaafy mentioned in this thread.

I use a library not an app, I fllowed this url:

You can use "Resource Hacker" to change an app icon. This program makes it easier than manually extracting and modifying the .exe file.

If it's a modern app, I am not aware of a solution.

Unfortunately the parts won’t be out then.

Your parts list is pretty good. Only changes I would make would be changing the 3600 to a 3700x. And my understanding of graphics cards like the one you added is they are basically marked up versions of more standard graphics cards with different drivers. I would replace the wx 3200 with a 5700xt. It should be the same price and if not, 5600xt or 5700 should be.

mkaafy reacted to porina in any good low storage win 7s?
I'm more worried about the performance of an 80GB HD for Win10... capacity is ok for the OS, but they haven't been made in a long time, so I'm really scared what performance will be like. Capacity wise I know both Win7 and Win10 will install on ~32GB class storage devices, although don't expect much left over.

What's the rest of the system spec like? What is the use case? Is buying a better OS drive not an option?

When coffee lake was released, there was no drivers for win 7 on motherboard support websites of any brand. They appears later when producers realized that it may be good to publish them. I bet that it is similar in this case. Look more on Intel website for chipset drivers and check if they have win7 on supported list.

I had a i5 7500 3 years ago and it was starting to struggle even then. 4C/4T is obsolete in 2020.

Minimum is an i7 6700 or 7700 if buying. Old i5s are extremely obsolete.

I'd look for a 6700/7700, otherwise it's just not worth it imo.

mkaafy reacted to -rascal- in Should I use a Z chipset on a locked CPU?
Several reasons you would want a Z-series chipset based motherboard over the H-series -- even for a locked CPU
You wish to run (or have plans) to run more than one graphics card. H-series motherboards usually only have one PCI-E X16 slot that runs at full X16 speed. Z-series typically have two slots that run at X8+X8.
Additional features only found on Z-series motherboards. This includes possibly, WiFi antennas, multiple Ethernet ports, more storage drive support and connectivity options.
Customization (overclocking and tweaking) capability. Some boards now have controllable RGB lighting, UEFI level fan control, etc. These features are usually found only on upper tier Z-series motherboards.
