According to profit calculator my 2060S would make 120€ a month, after electricity costs about 105€, propably less if you undervolt and deduct gaming time and taxes. So like maybe a 50-80€ in the end which doesn't really change my life in any way.

The heat in winter can make up for the electricity but in my experience even the heat from gaming gets trapped in my small room and just makes it uncomfortable, I don't see it worth the effort really even if you can justify the environmental impact and don't believe in components wearing out in use.

It seems that for e.g. the new Assassins Creed and Ratchet will still be 30fps, my hype died down right after hearing that. It might "outperform" gaming PCs below 2080 but if they use all that power for 4k and raytracing I'd rather have a PC and aim for 60fps+ even if at worse graphics. Also we don't know they'll cost 500, for e.g PS3 was more, and we don't know what nvidias 3000 series or amds next will offer at the time.

On high settings you get lower framerate. That means more delay between each frame rendered. Inconsistency in frametimes can mess your aim too so sometimes it's better to cap fps even if it adds lag. I play on mostly low settings with 2060 super just textures and aa high. It shouldn't affect your internet tho.

Framerate, vsync, fps limiters and prerendered frames setting all affect input latency. Also the killcam in cod is misleading a bit so the more you die the more you see it and the more you notice inaccuracies.
