Agreed, Download hwinfo and have it log your CPU temps. Compare your results with the CPU optimal working temps, or post the results here and we can take a look.

Well have you taken a look at the thermals of the CPU and GPU before running into assumptions? Good possibility could be that thermal paste is all dried out in either one of them and is underperforming thus overheating and shutting off. Hit me up with an update

I agree with @191x7 that you should look for an audiophile grade of headphone and add a mic to it, partly because that's what I always recommend but mostly because you are going to have a drastically larger pool of options to pull from.  I'm going to differ from his recommendations though partly to give more options.

My lightest pair of headphones would be the Koss Kph30i with a grado or yaxi pad mod, I prefer the grado mod and I think it would be great in your situation because it spreads what little clamping force there is over a very large area.  While the Koss has a built in mic, it's a cheap mic and you may want something better.  Don't let the look of the Koss fool you, it's a wonderful little headphone and if you get it on sale it's really not a big deal to pass on it if you get it and don't like it.  Second to that would probably be the Blon BL-B60, it's a great headphone that is very lightweight, this doesn't have a mic and I would recommend looking into the Antlion mod mic or a desk mount mic with or without a boom arm.  I will add that I have pretty severe TMJ and my jaw joint is completely missing on one side and mostly gone on the other, and this was years ago that I had my last x-ray.  Part of the problem I had with the Blon was that when my jaw would pop it would send a ringing noise through my head, must have been something to do with the lightweight and berylleum drivers.  Though after I let them burn in (play music for a few hours) that idiosyncrasy went away.  My next lightest headphones with a matching light clamping force would be the Phillips Fidelio X3, these are also great headphones with a silky sound to them.  Again some form of mic would be required.  The last pair I would recommend would be any of the Sennheiser lineup, they fit me pretty well but do have more clamping pressure than the others and don't offer a spring steel headband that you could adjust the tension of.

And on that note, you could look for something lightweight with a spring steel headband so you can add or remove clamping force to your desire.

A few others I've experienced worth mentioning:
AKG k240 studio (I don't like the sound signature in the slightest, no bass at all, so I didn't recommend them)
AKG K361 (Mine are the BT version so a little heavier, the wired may be lighter)
Look into the AKG K701 and K702 (no personal experience, have always wanted them but could be a good fit)
HiFiman HE-400i v2017  (These have very comfortable clamping force but the strap mechanism was only used in the 2017 version so I can't directly comment)
Meze 99 Noir (I have these arriving this Thursday and they look like they'd be very light and comfortable, but I don't have them in my hands yet)
Sennheiser Game One (great headset very light very comfortable, sound quality is sub par compared to my recent adventures but a great headset, though I can't speak to the newer versions)
Sennheiser RS120 II (these aren't directly meant for PC use but could be adapted.  I got a pair of these for my parent's because my dad is hard of hearing and my mom has even worse jaw issues than I do and she can wear them for hours.  VERY light weight with very light clamping force.  The sound quality isn't the greatest on this particular model, look around sennheisers website, they will certainly have something that fits)

Also take a good look at earbuds like @Marinos Karp said, there are some very good affordable options and the prices just go up from there.

Oh and some of the options listed allow for replacement earpads, look into zmf pads for some of the best around, also dekoni make very plush excellent pads

The Turtle Beach headset I have which is wireless is very heavy, great headset but heavy.

The gears/motors inside, the mounts for the desk, and cable are all things that can fail pretty easily. Make sure to check the ends of the pedal connectors specifically, since they use an older VGA looking connector that has pins that can very easily get bent or broken. Also, consider bringing an old laptop with the Logitech G-Software installed, even if you don't have an outlet to plug the power adapter into, seeing if it pops up when you plug the USB cable in is a good sign of it working (and the cable not being broken). It obviously won't fully turn on without the power brick but it should still get recognized by Windows iirc.

Sorry to hear, I've found that some of Logitech's budget lineup of headset have a very loose fit if that's what you're looking for, plus might be a dumb question but have you tried a good pair of Earbuds?(Unless you need the microphone that headsets offer). Plus friently advice, streer aways from Razer headset. The have a more esports-ish fit so they kinda squeeze your head after long use.

Fair enough. During quarantine i was close to buying a new short of gaming laptop but some stuff came up that i can't discuss that took away that opportunity which like i said has me stranded with this crap of a laptop. and like i said especially now my parents don't wanna spend extra money for a computer.

no it should be fine, monitor quality depends on the amount you can go by, i had a 60hz monitor and at 1080 i can go to 67hz, not much but make a noticeable difference in games, due a upgrade soon but thought id share my thoughts
