Unfortunately this has been happening to a few people: WS have been busy from some reports, other times people are saying that restarting FAH has fixed it, mostly it's waiting for the WU to be accepted.
 
There have been some reports that the WU has timed out and the WS won't accept it and that the credit is lost, but that was only one report I saw in the GitHub issue tracker. In that same issue there was mention that some are looking at working on an update for Work Servers to tell Clients why an update wasn't accepted better as the client has no idea what's going on when a WU isn't accepted.

Further News is also looking good.

I am honored to be in the top 40, I can not compete with the top 15 not even close but being in the top 40 is amazing to me given this is my first Folding Event. So proud of every one.

it all stems from about 5-6 years ago  when amd announced they where no longer trying to compete with intel so intel stagnated and mean while in the labs at amd they had this plan going.  as they knew intel would pull this crap...

I think they are simply in trouble. Nearly every initial response Intel brought have been marketing ploys or re-hashes of existing products. Which means they were caught with their pants down when AMD hit the ground running. I bet its another year before Intel makes any competitive response. Their own fault too

Do you overclock GPUs for folding or just CPU? I had to pretty much remove the OC I had on my 2080ti due to failing WUs.

Also damn I moved my folding VM from windows to linux and saw an 80%+ improvement on CPU PPD, no wonder everyone else is spinning linux boxes up.

At this rate if I can keep all the machines loaded I can break 10 by next Monday.

 
One of my machines is running a 7970.  It's not worth much for it's power draw.
