  1. According to the Q&A and the first review I saw on that Amazon page, I think it will do what you are asking. Too bad you can't get the Lian Li RGB fans that click together. that would look great!!!
  2. Yeah, DUH me. I realized that after I posted it. (Sorry it's been a long week.) I wish I could help ya out. Most of my toon watching was sci-fi 80's.
  3. Why not just convert the VHS tape to a mp4 file so you can watch it anytime you want??? Or do you not have the VHS tape?
  4. I would think the Corsair fan is still good. But I have not looked into them. I agree with a better airflow case. It's why I got a LanCool II Mesh. It flows WAY MORE than my old Rosewill Gaming 5
  5. Not sure if this case front is mesh in front of the fans. https://in.pcpartpicker.com/product/b3x2FT/antec-gx202-atx-mid-tower-case-gx202 This is a bit higher in cost, but I know from experience this one works. (Well I have the Non-RGB version. https://in.pcpartpicker.com/product/PmZzK8/lian-li-lancool-ii-mesh-atx-mid-tower-case-lancool-ii-mesh-rgb-white
  6. Have you tried running you PC with the front panel removed? If you have HWinfo installed, pull up a chart to track your temps for CPU&GPU. Do a run of 15 minutes or so of current case setup, then without the front panel. If the temps and performance make the difference you like, then you can choose between modifying your case or getting a new one. Maybe this Video will help. (Sorry I can't view it at my work)
  7. I am in the same kind of predicament here. I have been rockin' a Logitech G110 keyboard for the last 9? years. I would like to get myself a mech keyboard this time around. I did some A/V conversions for friends and they paid me with a Best Buy $100 USD gift card, and I have like $15USD in rewards with them as well. So my budget is up to $200ish USD. My son has a MSI GK70 TenKeyless that has clicky keys. I want to get myself a full 104 keyboard, I really can't imagine myself NOT having one. I saw the Roccat at BB and was curious about them. I tested some keys/switches that were on display for Razer and Corsair. I preferred the tactile and the linear. Typically I would just research and buy a Logitech keyboard, which is what I have done for the last 25 years. However, there are so many great keyboards being put out by other people, I figured why not give it a shot.

  9. I don't have the RGB model of the LanCool 2 mesh. But I believe you can D/L the manual for the case from Lian Li. Not sure if this helps, but I have a picture of the Mesh Performance fan hub.
  10. As for case??? I would recommend the Lian Li LanCool II Mesh (either one is up to you. Like you I needed room for 6 drives. Granted mine are 3 SSDs and 3 HDDs. But they all fit, and I have good air flow. It should fit your budget if you can find it. It took me a couple of months before I could find one in stock.
  11. Sorry to hear that. I had it on Newegg to notify me when it came in stock. I think that was a one month wait. The other was X570 Tomahawk, I think that was a 2 month wait. And my Gigabyte 34" 1440p 144Hz Ultra-wide was also 2 months, and I got it on my 3rd notify. They kept selling out in hours.

OK, this hurts to see!!! Overall I love the fact that you painted the whole computer! It is a really cool look, Seriously. But the electrical connections shouldn't be painted. I hope you aren't running into any power issues. The paint on the electric prongs would resist electrical flow.
  13. I personally have come to like the Lian Li cases. I have a LanCool II Mesh Performance (Non-RGB). It keeps my Ryzen 5 3600 and my GTX 1070 at around 60C when gaming. I don't hear any noise coming from them really, and my tower is on the desk. I also just purchased the LanCool 215 for my son to replace his Skeria 500X (nice and quiet, but HOT as HECK!) Not sure on how loud it is.
  14. I would seriously find someone how has a drill or even a Dremel. Not sure where you live or what kind of access to tools you have. I would seriously call a computer shop in your area and see if they could help you. Hopefully they wouldn't charge too much. If you do get tools from someone, drill from the inside of the back plate forward. Also, use a file if possible to make sure the inside of the hole is smooth. (Don't cut yourself or the EGPU when you install it.
  15. There is a company selling them in single packs with no controller. https://www.newegg.com/p/1YF-018A-00004?Item=9SIAS68CYU3751&Tpk=9SIAS68CYU3751 I am just not going to pay THAT much for one fan.
  16. Here is a nice paragraph on how a heat exchanger works. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heat_transfer Heat exchangers[edit] A heat exchanger is used for more efficient heat transfer or to dissipate heat. Heat exchangers are widely used in refrigeration, air conditioning, space heating, power generation, and chemical processing. One common example of a heat exchanger is a car's radiator, in which the hot coolant fluid is cooled by the flow of air over the radiator's surface.[citation needed][29] Common types of heat exchanger flows include parallel flow, counter flow, and cross flow. In parallel flow, both fluids move in the same direction while transferring heat; in counter flow, the fluids move in opposite directions; and in cross flow, the fluids move at right angles to each other. Common types of heat exchangers include shell and tube, double pipe, extruded finned pipe, spiral fin pipe, u-tube, and stacked plate. Each type has certain advantages and disadvantages over other types.[further explanation needed] A heat sink is a component that transfers heat generated within a solid material to a fluid medium, such as air or a liquid. Examples of heat sinks are the heat exchangers used in refrigeration and air conditioning systems or the radiator in a car. A heat pipe is another heat-transfer device that combines thermal conductivity and phase transition to efficiently transfer heat between two solid interfaces.
  17. Well, it's up to you, but you can do 2 AIOs. One that is 360MM and the other is 120MM. Sadly your case doesn't support a 240MM one up top, that would make this easier. As stated, your CPU will benefit the most from the cooling effect of an AIO. So a 360MM AIO in the front will net you the most performance, with what you have. Of course, you could always just up a vent duct from a portable air conditioner into the front and see where that gets you!!??
  18. Is this the Solid front one, or the mesh front one? Obviously the more airflow you can get into the case, the better you remove heat.
  19. It depends on the heat transfer coefficient of your coolers. (ie. the type of metal they are made of) More surface area means more ability to transfer heat. More airflow over said surface area is another way to remove heat. Just remember, heat always will travel to the colder component. It tries to equalize itself.
  20. Are you doing this with and AIO or making a custom loop? Bigger is ALWAYS better for cooling. LOL If you can fit the 360MM then go for it. Heck get another radiator for the GPU if you can fit it. Me personally, I am lazy, so I will most likely stay air cooled.
  21. Whatever you decide on, just make sure you measure your body prior to purchasing. Here are the points you should get numbers for: Back of the knee to your bottom minus 1.5" or so (seat size) outside of your thighs (seat width) Also make sure the arms of the chair don't push in in this part of the seat. Your bottom to your neck/top of head (seat back height) Knee to ground to see if you can sit with your feet on the ground at all. (me, my wife and my kids all of this problem. We have short legs) I hope that helps. Personally, I bought my wife the Autonomous Ergo Chair 2, after seeing a video from Jayztwocents. The only thing she doesn't like is that her feet don't touch the ground. The rest is great. I have an AKRacing MAX seat. It is wide enough for me and holds more than my weight. My daughter likes that she can sit criss-cross in it.
  22. Thanks. Yeah the LanCool 2 Mesh is mine and I love it for years to come!! Oh and if you want to install that USB Type-C port in the case, HAVE FUN!!! It took me almost an hour to do it. My son could use something that is lighter!!! It will make it easier to transport back and forth to his college.
  23. Having the movable HDD cage is one of the reasons that it sealed it for me. (I waited 2 months to get the LanCool 2 Mesh.) I needed something that could hold all of the drives I have, great airflow, a PSU Shroud and good cable management area. If I had a front radiator, and had to keep the HDD cage further back, I am not sure how happy I would be about that. moving the cage definitely gives more room for plugging and unplugging cables. AND having the flip down sides helps being able to use 2 hands when dealing with those cables, instead of just bending your 1 hand in there. Now don't let those covers fool you, you have to be able to get everything compressed in the cable area, otherwise the glass door won't stay shut!! Since it is only held by a magnet. I did just purchase a LanCool 215 for my son. Hopefully this will fix his black screen issues when I tried to close up his MSI Skeria 500X case. Yeah it's pretty but it doesn't breathe at ALL.
  24. So far I am only playing Jedi Fallen Order and Civ6 And I am sure your system is WAY more powerful than mine. I am sure a 30 series card will power whatever you need/desire.
