That looks good. As long as C3 or C6 or C7 is enabled, the CPU can use the maximum 37 multiplier when 1 or 2 cores are active. When 4 cores are active, the CPU multiplier drops down to 35. That is normal for these CPUs.

If you disable all of the C states in the BIOS, you will probably see a steady 35 multiplier in ThrottleStop. This is not a good idea because it will disable access to the 36 and 37 multipliers. Your CPU is set up correctly as is. The Windows High Performance power plan is best when using a desktop computer that is plugged in.
If you want more performance, find out what is running in the background on your computer. Idle C0% on a 4 core CPU should be under 1.0%. Click on the Task Manager Details tab and find out if there is anything running in the background that really does not need to be running. The lower you can get the idle C0%, the better your benchmark scores will be.
In the BIOS you can set the BCLK to 100.000 MHz or you might be able to bump that up to 101 or 102 MHz and still be stable. These CPUs will not boot if you go much higher than that.

xKr1Sx reacted to boghubodaghi in Will 500W PSU be enough for my build?
It's true early to tell, we don't know what kind of load spikes the RTX 3060 is going to have. Though, since 3060 Ti isn't that finicky with regards to transience, you can safely assume that the 3060 will be the same. Based on this, 500 W should be fine, but if you are paying less than $20 more for the 600W version, in my opinion it is worth the price.

xKr1Sx got a reaction from Macca274 in New upgrades to first build
If it's a gaming build then the first thing I would upgrade is GPU. It's pretty solid for 1080p, but games will be more demanding so I think it's the best to upgrade GPU later

xKr1Sx got a reaction from San Andreas in Which RAM kit should I get?
Look for a cheaper B-Die, I recently found and bought TForce Night Hawk RGB 16GB 4000 CL18 B-die for like $125. Probably you don't even need the B-Die so imo you can look for a cheaper 16GB 3600

Yeah naaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh extremely hard pass. They can be very good, but they've also been incredibly shit for a lot of people.
^^^ Yes, Userbenchmark bad. Use 3DMark, IIRC the standard TimeSpy and FireStrike are free. They're proper benchmarks, and you can compare online to people with that same hardware config (keep in mind the top spots are always people with nutty OCs, not stock parts though).
Same with my Vega FE, never had issues. Although there's not really a practical reason to use Furmark, it's a power virus. Such an unrealistic load that modern GPUs are designed to notice that and throttle themselves, and it reflects unrealistic temps. Long renders/Valley or so on a loop, or 3DMark runs once the system is warm are a more accurate reflection of real world temps.

xKr1Sx reacted to Mateyyy in New Build Cooling/Fan Questions
You shouldn't worry about the RAM being too close to the CPU cooler, as it can adequately cool itself just with the general airflow in the case.
Speaking of airflow, if there's anything I'd change in your rig, I'd probably move the top exhaust to the front as an intake. That'd get you positive air pressure inside the case, which is pretty much the best thing you could do to limit dust build-up, except for having filtered intakes.
Also that's some pretty clean cable management, especially considering it's your first time building a PC, great job!

xKr1Sx got a reaction from Fasauceome in Desktop Build - Non Gaming (Yikes!)
Hey, your part list is pretty good, but for sure you will be better with R5 2600 + Used GPU. 2600 has 6 cores and 12 threads - it will give you a solid power and used gpu will probably be better than Ryzen's APU

DDR - Double Data Rate, just multiply this number by 2, it should be near the advertised RAM speed

xKr1Sx reacted to filippalfi in yet another gaming rig ?
Here are a few pics of a build I did today,a bit unbalanced but will work fine
Asus Rampage IV Formula
i7 3930k
16GB Hyper X Genesis
GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X Trio
Some RGB stuff ?
Corsair HX1000i power supply
Patriot Burst 240GB SSD
Looks quite decent
Future plans are getting an AIO and overclocking the CPU a bit,so I bottlenecks a bit less

@filippalfi Great build! I see that ur using Armis AR5 TG RGB if I'm not wrong. I'm happy that SPC is becoming more and more popular cause it has great value products. Myself I'm using their AR7X TG RGB and it's great!

wow, so that pentium is probably not that bad as I thought. But unfortunately laptop doesn't work so I can't test it. : /
