Considering you're on Windows 10 there are 3 ways to boot in safe mode:
When you boot in safe mode only Windows essentials are loaded so MSi Afterburner won't open unless you do so manually so you'll be good to go on reinstalling it.

Take a look at device manager and window event viewer in administrative tools to see if they can point you towards the source of your issues.

its hard for me to recommend a gaming laptop that has a decent battery life, because most just Don't. Especially when you are putting it through the paces. I wouldnt discredit AMD, they have a very efficient Chip out now, if you are looking for battery life you might want to consider what @Fasauceome Mentioned

I can just outright verify that this is totally false, testing an i5 7400 with a mere GTX 970 yielded bottlenecks even at 60 fps with a lot of games, unless you claim that the i5 7500 is somehow tons of times faster it will guaranteed hold back the RTX 2080 in a number of titles. Have you ever used an i5 7500 before?

    No, you haven't been hacked.
If you think you have, which I can assume you you haven't, then change your password and put 2FA on your email.
If you clicked the link on your PC and put in your information then definitely change it, otherwise, ignore it.

Yurricho got a reaction from GoodGuyANKUR in how to update my motherboards bios
If your motherboard has usb flashback as a feature then its a simple feat, just plug the 24pin from your power supply into your motherboard and use the USB flashback supported USB port on the motherboard. Make sure you refer to the manual here for the proper port and procedure.

If not you need a CPU that will fit and you can complete the bios flash with the older chip, Im pretty sure Ryzen will send you a temp chip to do the flash and send it back to them, but Im not totally sure, that would be something to ask their support (With proof of purchase)

Nope, you're all good.  I must have misunderstood.  I also found this in other places, maybe it isn't a quality of VA panels, but just a common trait among the VA monitors I'm looking at.
