" You take the specific allegation it only makes it worse. My point is you don't even need all of that. Someone says they were harassed. You don't tell them to meet with that person outside work. Not complicated. Can we all agree on something?

Does it depend? What if she said the harassment was looking at her across the room. Can we all agree that saying go get coffee together outside of work is an incompetent answer that shows a lack of judgment?

I saw the bashing Madison and defending Madison. If the leaked audio is true about the HR meeting, Linus did say to first to to solve it with the person. It didn't sound like that was a new policy. In one of Madison's tweets she did say they were lying in meeting, so they wouldn't look bad in front of the higher ups. Solving a personal conflict with that person without intervention can be ok, depending on what it is. The moment Madison brought up the sexual nature to a higher up and the response is go have coffee with them, that means their judgment is compromised. I don't care who it was. If that was said even by Linus or Yvonne they should be removed from the company.

I would just like to add one thing. I'm not a fan of SJWs. I'm not one of these believe all women people. If a manager told Madison, who believed she was being harassed by someone, to go have coffee with them. They should be fired.

I'm don't know how much the forums have changed here. I got good advice posting here when gamer gate was happening. I got a mix of responses, some supportive and others begging me not to talk about it on the forums. On that WAN show on the morning I posted on the forums, Linus said something like stay out of it. I was following TotalBiscuit at the time and thought he was correct but listened to Linus and prevented me from getting sucked up in all that. Years later, I remember watching the video where Linus I think was addressing The Linux Gamer and was talking about how he addressed TB when he went after him. He just ignored him. I always thought it was weird he never came back after that first time. I remember watching live and being excited that he was on. I never knew about TB going after Linus. I also just wanted to thank LTT because secret shopper has been so great in a god awful year. A family vacation I went on in Jan, secret shopper and the next grand tour episode has been the only positive things that have beened in 2020. What's even worse, I have been far far luckier than most this year. Linus is our Tech Yoda. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for being a rock, on the wasteland that is the internet and 2020. Every day I know I got an LTT video that will be entertaining and educational.

I am reaching out hoping that maybe this could make a great video. Project Diablo 2 has been a great mod for Diablo 2 that has given has given a lot to a community that was disgarded a long time ago. The mod actually supports my ulltrawide 1440 monitor! The server got hit with hackers 11/27 and this small team with an individual leaving due to health concerns and others gone for Thanksgiving still worked to get the servers up 24 hours later. In a discord update he said SenpaiSomethingYesterday at 1:16 PM @everyone So we're still working on things and we think we found a temporary fix that will get us up sooner than later but unfortunately now my PC has decided to start dying during all this and I'm dealing with that on top of things which is great timing ofc I'll have another update within 4-5 hours in which time we should know if they're coming up today or not. Project Diablo 2, Secret Shopper and the upcoming Grand Tour Treasure Hunt have been three highlights in an aweful year. The team needs to sleep soon and I need to get something to eat as I've been dealing with this since I woke up but I apologize as I know this wasn't how any of us planned on spending our friday night. I don't post a lot. But I felt like I had to add my 2 cents. I am super pissed about this. I have been using PIA before LTT sponsorship. Wendell recommended it randomly . I researched all the companies. It's the only VPN I've ever used and recommended it to everyone. I love the WAN show idea of getting the CEO on in a video to assure us of security. If it isn't done soon I'll be gone and now I gotta see what LTT, Wendell, and some other tech youtubers recommend, as a starting point. Then, I gotta read and research all over again. What a waste of time. If I change then I have to explain to other people why they have to leave. I felt so lucky I didn't have to deal with the TunnelBear BS or the Nord BS. I also found what Sorachan said about expressVPN interesting.

I would have to say Nvidia Shield TV. I would get that for my little sister, since the xbox 360 I gave her to watch netflix just red ringed. She uses android phones so the conversion will be simple and there is not much to go wrong. We live 3 hours away from each other so I that is important. I spent a whole day upgrading and fixing her laptop during thanksgiving weekend(I didn't mind because she was grateful and really needed her laptop.) The Nvidia Shield would be a great device for her to stream and it would be a cheap way for her to play some games with Nvidia Geforce Now. True but compared to the competition the specs are less and it costs more. I know the build quality and other things come into account but then I feel you have to put in the highest end specs out there if you want a premium product. I do know the 2014 razer blade had huge heat problems though. ya I think it may have something to do with size and heat. I have seen some thermal results of 980 being quite a lot hotter than a 970. some other 970s in these thin gaming laptops have more than 3gb of gddr5. Every does seem to agree that razer has one of the best keyboards in this form factor and build quality. correct me if im wrong but didn't intel patient ultrabook and its only if it have an intel cpu with no gpu.

I think we could all agree getting something cheaper would be great but it just depends. Years back a laptop that you could game on was expensive, heavy and big. Prices are actually very low considering what you actually get. A little off topic but asus has the R510DP 1080p amd a10 5750m with hd 8670m with 2 gb.
