    Want the smallest gaming PC?
Well there are many options but not that small as the MSI Trident 3!

So i got the one with the i5 7400 and the 3Gig version of the 1060, but you can upgrade is with the 6Gigs if you want or even a RX 480 8Gigs (if you can find one that is max 17cm long).
To bad you CANNOT AND NEVER WILL upgrade the GPU much higher then those 2 options since the PC is limited with max 230w and so far i know there is no overcurrent protection...what that means you might blow up the pc if you try to fit in a GTX 1070 what is possible with the mini version of it, but it use 30w more then the GTX 1060 so yeah...things might go bad plus it have only a 6 pin connector.
But you can upgrade the GPU if newer comes out so that is a plus for me.

Now on the CPU side of things.
You can upgrade that also to max i7 7700 for the time being no K sku tho since they use 30w more? (atleast on spec sheets) even if it will work it is useless because the bios won't allow any overclocking or anything.
The only think you can do is undervolting the CPU in Intel XTU but that is all.

    What about memory?
This is a tricky one...the site will tell you it only support max 2133Mhz but the one i got shipped to me have 8Gigs 2400Mhz memory so yeah don't know what is going on there?
Will it support higher speed? To be honest i don't know, but i will test it if i get faster memory (3000Mhz) soon.
The mainboard/bios don't have XMP options and the memory it self are SODIMM's same stuff you will find in your laptop.

    Mainboard
Custom H110 Chipset with kaby lake support nothing special.

    Storage Options
1 SATA 2.5 Drive for either SSD or HDD and 1 m.2 slot nothing more.

Does it run hot and what about noise?
    No...not in my case atleast.
But i only got the i5 model so the i7 one might get hotter.
GPU temps are around 65c (in overwatch Epic settings 1080p) with max temp around 77c in furmark
The cpu in Prime95 never hit above 74c for 6 hour run with furmark also running.
My room temp is around 19c so i was impressed by the cooling design and it really works.
For noise on max load 37db max with Prime95 and furmark running what is also decent not silent but not that load either.

Benchmarks...none we all know how the GTX 1060 performs but if you really want to see FPS numbers leave a comment.

Overall, i really like the Trident 3!
It small size what fits in my backpack it a great lan party PC and can be upgraded in some extend the only limiting factor in 3 years would be the CPU because intel always change the socket...
If you are planning getting this macine pre-installed with windows 10...REINSTALL WINDOWS the CPU was underpeforming thanks to all the bloatware even when i removed everyhing so reinstalling windows 10 is recommended!

    Update time!
So we are in day 5 now and blue is leading with 600k points, no way any team gonna past that!
I can say now i was right all this time and to be honest i feel rigged but also pleased.
I'm feeling rigged because buying cards does nothing but giving money for the 30 users that get 3 games from there 3 top wishlist games and yeah i kinda understand why.
I feel pleased because everybody get a fair shot of winning, infact all teams will win twice in the end of the steam sales what is great.
The thing i hate about is that steam lie about the system how the thing works what is strange, but then again no one lose the heck even steam gain money from it and you as just game buyer getting those free cards can sell those cards for some extra summer sale money what is also fair i guess?

Anyway i gonna make a video about this today because i think not alot of users realize this.
And if you think i should make a video just leave a comment that i should ok

Since today i was looking very close to the steam summer adventure and find some stuff out in the last 3 days how the system work.

    Day 1
Red did not do so well on the first day but other teams did, infact red was last.
So purple won and i was thinking this is a fair system they got the most points so i let it behind.
Also purple only won with a 85,000+ points more what is not that big of a gap if you realize how much cards users are buying.

    Day 2
All of the sudden red was steaming away this day to battle purple and red won this in the process.
Strange thing is, red did not put in the effort the first day.
All of the sudden the decide "he all let's pwn everyone" i don't buy that.

    Day 3
If you are looking at day 2, green did not that well just like the other teams pink and blue.
And all of the sudden they also decide to steam ahead with a 200,000 points?
Are you kidding me they must be cheating because they basicly already won even if they do nothing!

Now i explained those 3 days.
And you see every day another team is winning, with that being said every team will win once atleast because steam pick a random team (or even 2 seems like it in day 2) to get a head start.
Why do i think that? how else red suddenly won or green destroying all the teams at this moment.

Let me know what you think about this

That's ultra settings and only avg FPS. with same cpu across the board. My HD7750 is obviously not meant to run 1920x1080 ultra.

The way the OP wants it, is tons of different generation CPU's and different Vram cards and generations with evidence of settings causing major blow to performance or any anomalies related to specific set-ups.

    Probably state drivers as well!

I'm redownloading the game with a hotfix, will post later. Going to try 1080p on my big screen to see just how CPU bound I truly am.

I official destroyed crysis 1 with my gaming laptop to boosting my laptop to the top.
With the clockspeed i get the GTX 780m is almost a full GTX 770 non OCed what is amazing for a mobile GPU.
So i wanna share this moment with you all with a nice video the laptop destroying crysis and bring it finally down to his knees on a mobile platform!

This is done with a unlocked vbios and bios to clock the CPU turbo all to 3.4Ghz and both CPU and GPU are not throttling what is pretty good.
Still i gonna repaste the CPU and GPU with noctua paste on the bad guy for better temps at least -5c tops.
Also watch dogs test is coming soon when the game is released in Europe finally...

    Yes, i going this route!
Is this CPU still a monster in gaming? Does it still get high framerates?
    You will find out here!

    Background story time!
I was on a flee market somewhere near me and i notice a cheap Acer Vetonlin (or something)
So i asked the price, and he said "i'll take 50 euros" and i was like alright i'll take it!
Back home i notice it still had 4Gigs of DDR2 533Mhz A bit slow but still useable, a 275w PSU of FSP a decent brand and 250Gigs HDD and all the stock stuff.
So what i did first was push my GT 430 in it and fast enough i see the framerate are low.
My first guess was the GPU is just to slow and putting my old GTX 650 (yes i said old "titan owner ^^" and games runs very smooth and nice on high settings in most cases.
So here i am testing the Q6600 with a GTX 650 and a PCI-E lane that have only rev 1.1 not even 2.0...
And soon i'll get also a AMD Phenom II x4 805 to put agains the Q6600

The point of this test ?
Some ppl think pc gaming is always expensive, well no!
PC gaming is cheaper then console gaming in the long term.
2nd reason pc gaming is better because we can play all old games ever released on the pc no matter what there will be always a way!

Games that gonna be tested on it
    - Grid 2
    - Skyrim
    - Battlefield 4
    - Saints Row 4
    - Just Cause 2
    - Others?

All games wil be played on 1080p and high preset with 2/4xMSAA (MSAA depens on preset)
All games will be recorded with shadowplay

    Results

Battlefield 4, Medium Preset, No AA, 1920x1080, Min 20fps avg 31fps max 57fps (fps results are without recording with shadowplay)

People can come here and freely give advice. You can't tell them to get out when they have an opinion about something that disagrees with your thinking because this is an open community. If you feel that people are giving bad advice then don't listen to them and read their comments. Lets be honest here, if you want advice there are plenty of Overclocking guides from people like JJ and others who are well-recognized. If people want to know maximum voltages or see what temperatures are acceptable, you can easily go on Intel's website and look at the official specifications. If you are feeling risky then you can just ask here and have users give you information without proper citation - the choice is yours.

Now we can all agree that *most* Haswells run hotter than the previous generations because this is a lower nm process with tightly packed lithography and more transistors on the chip. There are also benefits like having a higher IPC.  So yes, the temperatures will increase in some way. The OP's processor seems to be a golden chip because my Haswell (4770K) cannot come near his voltage and frequency. I have almost the same setup as him (mobo+cpu) with Ambient Room Temps of 21C (H110 Push) on an open bench with a huge fan position near the bench cooling it. My Haswell needs 1.18V to reach 4.2GHz and 1.29V to reach 4.5GHz (This is without mentioning memory overclocking and running the memory at 1333Mhz).  So clearly, there is a lot of variations with Haswell processors as JJ mentioned and we cannot deny that. I have also been overclocking for a long time and have been extensively studying Haswell architecture.

OP, you seem to be a nice guy and only want the best opinions but you are far to aggressive in your speech and that in turn makes you look arrogant and proud. I don't know if this is what you intend but people here expect a nice and kind atmosphere so please keep this in your considerations.

I hope we can avoid threads like this and stop the hate from flowing through the community.
