  1. you will always have a chance to create a spark when connecting something that is allready taking power from the wall...it may be small chance but it exists!
  2. it will immediately charge the battery. That said propably lessen the batteries life. it will charge and discharge the same cells making the battery losing faster its usage time. i am always removing the battery if i have to keep my laptop in use for more than a day on an use the power cord.
  3. thermal paste dried i aggree. but also check if screws are well tied too.
  4. i dont like dependencies especially ones that at standby power draw is 60w....for g-sync module! I chose Gigabyte for it fits my needs better and i use alot of the companies products and knowning the quality of them. I may not have g-sync but ...if you buy an AMD card Later???? g-sync goes on a walkby. Msi are known thiefs...i am not saying it , read reviews and LG looks cheap to my eyes for the price.
  5. colors dont matter...cost matters and transfer rates. Buy the color you like checking the transfer rates. You may be suprised from what you will see...better transfer rates...more money!!!!!
  6. powercolor has a serious name in the market. It may not be so popular in EU for example because in my country you cant find it easily, but globally they are good tested and not malfunctioning easily. other than problems of the software drivers issues , which many people blame the brands for that and not the drivers for the problems, you will not have. The materials are good but offcourse the pricier the better at these products...i mean for powercolor dragon vs red devils.
  7. more rpms exhaust/or fill faster the air but do not exhaust for example more air! The amounts will be same but at more frequent intervals. Also more rpms means most of the times more noise! The best bet would be 3 intake or 3 exhaust. Although it depends from the sizes of the fans. Are all equal st size because some sizes are 12 , 16, 18cm ? Do all have same rpms? The bigger the fans the faster can exhaust air with lesser rpms. What you ask cannot have a straightforward answer. Even the amount of obstacles in front of the fans makes problems in air flow. The main and easily setup though for me would be 3 intakes equal sized and 3 exhaust equal sized alltogether. But as i said. it all depends from many factors not stated. My configuration...2 X FANS from CPU AIO water cooler intake and 3 X top Bequiet Wings. BUT my case is always open...so even if i had...12 it wouldnt matter! Another parameter added....for you.
  8. if you need a medium card for casual gaming then you can try to find some older generation cards like amd radeon 5500xt, or even amd rx 580,590. For cpu i think you can get an amd 3100 up to amd 3600. And motherboard with a b450 or b550. Ram 16gb at Least. Although it's old gpu generation and the old chipset that does not mean thye are bad. they will do their job until you can afford to buy a better configuration or your needs change. Prices will be falling by then...Hope so...
  9. For your specs i will suggest not going more than : CPU: AMD Ryzen 5600X (usign the 5800X is tempting but i dont think you need that much power for your jobs) Mobo : Gigabyte b550 pro Ram : Patriot 32gb 3600 Viper ELite II or Steel dual channel ram Storage : 1 x SSD Patriot 512gb (i use them they are somehow midrange in performance but work like a charm) for Booting and some storage 1 x SSD PAtriot 1Tb (mainly for storage) Windows 10 Pro edition GPU : Amd Radeon gpro 6200 or just a workstation card like radeon pro wx3100 (would be okay at price now that the gpu prices are way too high than they used to be. You dont play so tough graphic games and the job you need the pc is mainly storing and music as you state. Case : cougar panzer max (i have it using watercooling materials into it having more space than i need and enough room for storage and fans. have also tempered glass and magnetic mesh filter front and top. Psu :600W 80+gold (not higher or lower for not requiring to upgrade it soon but to be able to put more storage or another cpu later) i trust alot thermaltake but gigabyte has put on some good ones lately. DVD-blue ray : i turst pioneer as years in the optical disks writting. PIONEER EXTERNAL BLU-RAY RECORDER BDR-XD07TB for mouse keyboard a good logitech combination will be nice. Keybopard and mouse are completely personal choice so i can say anythind more than brand i dont want to use prices because from day to day they change. I dont know if you can even find some of the parts ia suggest but i am giving you the main specifications i think that suit you best for the job you describe. just dont spend alot in the gpu area. buy a graphics card that is near 150-200 dollars now till prices drop. then you reconsider. hope i helped a bit
  10. i think alot of lenovo users have problems with the power adapter and how the lenovo provides the power from that adapter to the main chips. Does that apply to these laptops too? they say somehtign like the power of 220V is connecting directly to the chip....? e.g. it may not be the correct video but he says about the volts in one of his videos about fixing lenovos that does not powerup anymore.
  11. As of its V.G.A. (Video Graphics Array), GPU Graphics Processing Unit. So using both terms means the same either Graphics or Video. Though I personally use Video when i want to mean something that is close to Movie style show, DVD etc , and Graphics for referring to Games, or drawing. Its no problem saying it either way anyway
  12. you cant say because the time you kept it open may have been less than the night. try removing 1 stick of ram and change position of it.
  13. do you enter bios? did you apply correctly the paste in cpu, did you put correclty the fan of the cpu?
  14. I am very happy wih Gigabytes mobos. I would suggest something in the Pro category B550 i wouldnt recommend the small factors. I always prefer the bigger designs because they give more space and options. I wouldnt pick the Platinum for PSU too because your savings are not so better than the gold ones in house use. Case fans 105 euros????? better pick a AIO watercooler! with that money. you get the fans for free!!!!! and you remove the cpu cooler too! for everything else i agree with you. RGB are ok...but you have always the option to put some strips later so pay more attention to the equipments and not the looks. Those give the juice to play not the colors....the colors in the game you will look. the tower you will never look it again once you press the power button! if you know what i mean. For the memory i would choose the Z neos for no special reason more than the rgb in memory titles! All memories if the mobo support it its ok.
