  1. i am having problem with 2 different monitors lcds. Its not a windows / software one because they behave the same on other pcs that i tried. These are not new monitors both are of 1 year+ working fine. - The 1st monitor is having a very low brightness on the left side of it and the right side is perfoming ok.From the moment it opens that is the behavior. You can see the screen contents but with very much effort even on full white background (brightness / contrast 100%) - The 2nd one is working ok for some minutes....then it starts brighting very much so that you cant see anything (becoming all white and stays that way). Do you have any clues as to how i can fix it or at least try? ( i mean what parts i may need capacitors, full panel etc) Thank you
  2. i live in greece and happen to have a vrm problem with asus gtx1660 dual fan bought the 1st day it appeared in amazon.com. althought the 30 days of refund had passed the amazon has returned my payment and have provided me instructions how to deliver back the goods. the moment they acquired them they dispatched a refund. The card had 3 years warranty and i think it wasnt applied to Greece. I think the matter with warranties and refunds is propably more on the site you buy more than the company that makes it. I think amazon contacts them for the guarantees and amazon is contacting you for the payments. If you by from amazon i believe you are a bit more secure and fast resolving than other services online. Opinion only from my experience!
  3. i need some opinions from your expertise. Would it do any good (from thermal anticipation side) a DIY replacement of the cooling of the amd 5700xt or better wait the custom made models from the various brands (Propably with a premium cost???)? thank you
  4. thanks i will post the results once completed for opinions...till then thank you.
  5. do you know any program for that stress test that would work for sure?
  6. cpu is almost 5%(due to the av background scan) and gpu less than that.
  7. cpu cores at 55celsius max and gpu at 60celsius.
  8. 1st of all thank you, I will try safe mode didnt think about it. Virus is checked and background programs are at minimal. (AV, nvidia) those existed too..when i was playing the previous weeks the witcher 3 and wot and did not have freezes at all for 8-9 hours of continue play! now in 1/2 hour and it breaks.
  9. Hello, I have as stated in a previous post that i own an Asus GTX 1660ti OC Dual. Thought would be tha telperature for my problems but turn in that it is not. My CPU is i5 (6th gen) 8500 with 16GB ram and Asus H170 PRO gaming Motherboard. Due to the fact that in the current period i am continusly having freezes in games and less often in youtube i started logging the cpu and gpu behavior with an application Open Hardware monitor. I am currently playing the Assasins creed unity, and World Of Tanks in 1920 resolution both of them Crash randomly and the screen freezes needing reset. In previous month i have been playing the World of tanks with the same graphics settings and witcher 3 at ultra. Did not have that freezing. I reinstalled drivers, games removed antivirus and tested the behavior is still freezing. I tested temps and for all the systems are as recomended to be...I play purposlely with full speed in fans to test. What i have noted is that the CPU on all cores....the usage is 100%! and the gpu is almost half or less. When i lessen the graphics levels the cpu seems to be at 95% usage on al cores and gpu steadily at the same previous %. IS THAT THE BEHAVIOR OF A BOTTLENECK from the gpu to the cpu? Is there any other test i need to perform for bottleneck? Is the combination i5 (6th gen) good for the gtx 1660 or need a more powerful processor for it? The screen looks like this when it happens.
  10. for better help you must state the motherboard exact type and brand, cpu and the cards! you just write the chipset for each!
  11. i have see nthis before. 1st of all make sure bios on your friend is the latest available! 2nd put the card in the second pcie slot. (you can bypass this step if you can find in bios a PCie rom priority setting. change it accordingly.). see what happens. and as it is already stated clear all graphics drivers 1st once you bootin windows. then insatll the driver.
  12. between them i would go always with asus. BUT you should be aware that you bought a ferrari's engine and you put it in a beetles...Carcage! I had previousley AOC monitors ...they are way less than others in the market even dell, or samsungs instead of them.
  13. If i had that card i would have been thinking the Asus Rog swift pg27uq. if you have i7 and the most expensive card you cant go for less....offcourse you can choose the inches....
  14. That does not solve a thing from what i asked....Sent me 300 euros and i could buy the GTX2080 instead! If you dont then please provide a solution fro the current matter.
  15. any thermal paste suggestion? for warranty...i merely care!!!!!
