Good news I fixed the trackpad on my laptop by reseating the hard drive

(How the crap does that work)

    Is the hard drive under or touching something that is under or touches the trackpad or it’s cable?

    @Bombastinatorno it was not touching the cable for the trackpad

    I got nuttin then.  Maybe touching something touching something else.  Laptops can be pretty tightly packed.

    Are you sure the the trackpad cable isn't passing under the hdd ? I've seen that a lot.
