    I realized that is was my timings that were off because when I run it without XMP it doesn't do it so I guess this new ram doesn't like the timings thanks anyway

    I know this is a dumb question but did you actually turn it on by the front pannel connectors with your on button (or by shorting it) because I know when I first built my PC I plugged everything in and flicked the switch at the wall but freaked out when nothing happened but then realised I didn't press the on button ?

    That worked I then went into the bios and then exited it. I put my graphics card back in the plugged the hdmi cable into that and it is working now so I am not to sure what was wrong but thank you all for the support and help
