Luckily it sounds like it won't come to that. I finally talked to someone that helped me out. I am getting free return shipping, but now the card is out of stock who knows what I will get as a replacement.

Those are good ideas. I opened a chat on their website, their phone just goes to voicemail. I didn't get any reply by email. I submitted a BBB complaint, but I hear BBB doesn't do anything.

Has anyone else had any bad experiences with Zotac? I bought a refurbished 1080 AMP from their online store on the 20th. I received the new (to me) card on the 26th. It was dead on arrival, now they are making me pay return shipping. The only reason I went with them was because they had the cheapest used 1080. Now I am regretting not going with a manufacturer with better customer service. Lesson learned. Never buying from Zotac again. I will have in total paid around $50 in shipping fees (if the replacement works)

Hello Elonn, I would recommend not going with Zotac. I ordered a 1080 AMP on the 20th, it arrived yesterday. Product was dead on arrival, now they are making me pay return shipping. Really poor customer service.

Compter frozen at BIOS splash screen
Prodigydeadeye replied to Prodigydeadeye's topic in Troubleshooting
It can only be flashed from within the Advanced Mode in the BIOS. -
Issue: Recently I created a Win 10 installation USB to install on one of my internal hard drives. I recently switched to Linux, but wanted to have Windows as a boot option for my games. I restarted my computer, pressed F8 to choose the boot device, and selected the USB. This took me straight into my BIOS (not what I was expecting). I exited the BIOS and restarted. When I restarted, I was met with the BIOS splash screen that popups up briefly during the boot process. The issue is that now the computer gets stuck at this splash screen. My peripherals are unresponsive. I cannot press DEL or F2 to enter the BIOS. F8 doesn't work. The screen says "Please press DEL or F2 to enter the UEFI BIOS settings." The computer has worked flawlessly since 2014 w/ no problems up until now. What I have tried: - Rebooted multiple times - Disconnected the Win 10 installation media - Disconnected all USB devices - Disconnected and reconnected all SATA devices. Confirmed power cables to CPU and mobo were securely connected - Disconnected/reconnected CMOS battery - Checked for bent pins or swelling/burst capacitors on mobo - none - Checked fans, CPU and case fans spin fine - Swapped RAM with known good sticks -Mobo has no status LEDs lit, no beeping, etc. -Attempted to recover BIOS using a USB drive, BIOS file, & mobo manual Specs: Intel i7 4790 Noctua NH-U12S heatsink Asus H97I-Plus mini ITX motherboard HyperX Fury 2 x 8GB 1600Mhz Corsair CX 550M PSU

Not sure if this would be the right place to post this. I have a 2 post 12u rack I use for my home lab equipment. The rack is slanted at an angle, here is an example: https://goo.gl/images/8BTHcp I have been looking for an angled shelf for some of my equipment, but haven’t been able to find one that is angled so that the shelf is laying horizontal (not angled) once installed. Does anyone know where I might be able to find one? Thank you

The new Blade would be sweet for school as well as some games on the side!

Integrated graphics are good enough for things like LoL and Hearthstone. You can't beat the build quality too. If you are looking for something with dedicated, you might want to look somewhere else. SSD + GPU + slim is kinda hard to do http://www.razerzone.com/store/razer-blade-stealth -

Haha why did you guys revive this year old thread? -
How much are you selling it for?

The power cable is on your power supply, you don't buy a SATA power cable. Those are data cables. Slim doesn't matter. It is just slim.
