  2. 2 Very different ends of the spectrum... R9 3900x @ Stock. 32 RAM 3000MHz C16 with loosey-goosey timings. Need to spend some time dialing this thing in... Also, absolute worst case scenario, had a whole bunch of crap open and was using my system actively while the test ran 2014 Macbook Air base model... i5-4260u, 4GB RAM. My daily laptop, gave this the best case scenario. NOTHING open, sitting to the side untouched. Actually shocked it outbenched a newer mobile i5!
  3. Interesting, I had no idea Macbooks could discern what wattage charger was connected to it.

Double interesting, shelling out for 85w adapters was USELESS for my MBA, it doesnt take much more than 30w. Only benefit is the proper adapter for this laptop is 45w and used to get really freakin hot.

  4. So, finally got around to fixing my 2014 MBA. Needed the board to be pulled and cleaned, due to some oxidization causing USB instability. Thats done, and im seriously considering if i REALLY need a 2020 air...

This still feels plenty snappy, even inside my vanilla windows 10 VM.

  5. I assume one is on the way, but i think the Black Shark 3 Pro needs to be on LTT. Comes with an external cooler with a TEC, and is just a really cool phone WITH A HEADPHONE JACK
  6. There is VERY little reason to buy an X sku CPU when a non X one is available, such as the 3600x. All you gain is a couple hundred MHz in clocks you can easily do yourself in the BIOS. Unless its cheaper, not worth your money.
  7. I think theyre working on it, im fairly sure i've seen posts on the LTT community page over on YT about yvonne making some.
  8. This is what my AI Suite looks like. I would uninstall both pieces of software, and install Armory Crate first then AI Suite.
  9. Armoury Crate doesn't have fan control software, AI Suite is where Asus leaves their fan control.
  10. I noticed theres an update for AI Suite. Give me a minute to update and see if Asus just moved things around.
  11. Hmm... Did you install Armory Crate and AI Suite from the disk, or off Asus' site?
  12. Can I see a screenshot of your Ai Suite? I have an asus board as well, have not seen the issue you're mentioning.
  13. I did end up finding that set, but I ended up going against it because the screws i need need to be countersunk or pan head because of my case. Cheers on giving me the dimensions, I'll go with buying local!
  14. So, this is probably a really stupid question, but I just picked up a thermochill PA120 for $5 as a scratch and dent unknown condition. It doesnt seem to leak (though i will test it further of course), but I've run in to one issue. It came with no hardware, and this is my first jaunt at water cooling. Where do yall buy extra rad screws? Everywhere I've found wants like $20 for 8 screws.
  15. Google hasn't been that great on their phones as of late. If you just need a cheap CDMA phone, I reccomend an iPhone 5s or 6s (skip the 5 and 6). Or, if you're really anti-apple, the S8 can be had for roughly the same price. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Samsung-Galaxy-S8-SM-G950U-64GB-Midnight-Black-Verizon/264680253021?epid=235230101&hash=item3da02c265d:g:vUwAAOSw0nlefQBe
  16. It has not been reflashed, so it still shows as a RAID card. The goal was to use it as an HBA.
  17. Device manager wouldn't even sniff at the server 2008 driver, sadly. Looks like I'm SOL.
  18. Whelp, my 670 died within hours of folding. To be fair i picked it up for $20 at goodwill 2 years ago, and used it daily for 1.5 years. Pour one out boys.
  19. If the phone only supports GSM, it will not work on CDMA networks such as Verizon. I hate to be that guy, since clearly you're happy with a flip phone if you're using one and not making posts about new phones, but... do you have a particular reason for not picking up even a cheap smartphone?
  20. Are there working Windows 10 drivers for this card? Device Manager can't seem to find any. I pulled it from an old workstation that I got for free, so im not out anything if it doesn't work out.
  21. What game? Those numbers arent strictly related at all.
  22. Matrox still exists?! Learn something new...
  23. Aight, not sure if it's the new build of windows or superior BT on my new motherboard. BUT, my propods feel great now. Thanks for making me think to try again!
  24. I have propods, issue is that Windows' bluetooth audio sucks. Though I will try it again with this motherboard...
