  1. actually a lot of people with bulemia are overweight, that's why they purge(eat and then throw up) after binge-eating in the first place, ity's a very complex issue that you don't seem to know anything about. Just because someone is overweight doesn't mean they can't struggle from bulemia or anorexia or malnutrition, as eating a lot of calories doesn't mean you are getting the nutrients your body needs to survive and remain healthy. That's why cases of rickets in very poor communities even in the richest countries on the planet are on the rise.
  2. well you came on, gave virtually no details, no system specs, software or drivers or steps you had already taken and started off with passive aggressive notion that your gpu and youtube have nothing to do with each other and then expect people to magically know your system and what the problem is and fix it for you without asking any questions or giving suggestions. good luck with it.
  3. well your gpu is playing that video, so that's why they are connected, possibly a VRAM or driver issue, what card are you using and what resolution do you play youtube on?
  4. ram and GPU prices certainly aren't helping matters, although they have finally started to improve thanks to a drop off in miniing demand and a few major lawsuits from the EU and China regarding artificially high pricing and restriction of supply has helped, vendors also looking to shift some old stock in regards to 10xx series Nvidia cards.
  5. not sure if it's just me, but when i try to log in on floatplane it won't let me, even though I know my info is correct and password is entered correctly, the only way to log on to watch videos is if i choose to login through the forum option. Not much of an issue right now as i can still watch videos, but thought I would raise the issue incase it becomes a problem down the line.
  6. if you are going for a gt1030 make sure you get the older ones with GDDR5 memory, not GDDR4. Seems counter-intuitive I know, but the newer(and cheaper to manufacture) ones with GDDR4 are a ripoff in comparison. Used a gigabyte passive cooled gt1030 myself and for the price was a pretty good card when replacing a gt730 in a crappy prebuilt system with an even worse power supply. ran smoothly on pretty much everything on low to medium, even high on some older titles.
  7. what are your temps like? Might be an overheating issue or a hardware failure with the fan/TiM on the actual card itself. Also you might want to roll back your driver to an earlier version that you know is stable seeing as the gt710 is pretty old hardware now.
  8. as a general rule most people don't have the computer hardware to meet or exceed 4k@60fps as you need a minimum of a gtx 1080ti for that on any recent AAA title(Minecraft doesn't count) Given the bar gets raised by each new generation of cards across the full range you will probably see it as more common in a few years still.
  9. yep, losing too much too fast also puts extra strain on your heart.
  10. you do realise people with bulimia don't walk around with neon signs hanging around their necks advertising the fact? Purging is also not a joke, it is a serious health issue responsible for a lot of nasty problems.
  11. really also depends on the quality of paper towel that you use, the cheaper stuff tends to break up very easily and like you said leaving behind a fair amount of debris. isopropyl alcohol, or arcticlean do a great 2 step solution that is really quick and easy to use as well https://www.amazon.co.uk/Arctic-Silver-ArctiClean-Material-Purifier/dp/B000BKP306
  12. The Expanse, Altered Carbon, Blue Planet, The Punisher should keep you busy for a while. Aside from the obvious superhero genre it would help if you give a bit more info to the sort of movies and TV you like.
  13. You can already get GPU's with rgb lighting on the cooler and backplates, and CPU coolers also have rgb options.
  14. depends what your focus is on then I would say, if it's games then 120hz, if it's 4k movies and tv then HDR. That's what I would look at anyway.
  15. If you are really struggling to stretch the budget then I would say build it and see what your temps are like to begin with, if you are still struggling for airflow then you can always add them in later, just keep an eye on temps in the meantime. As for decibels, that is really only something you can answer after the fact as it will depend entirely on your own circumstance, case noise, build quality of fans, location of rig, proximity when gaming/stresstesting, background music and effects and so on. Good luck!
  16. could be entirely unrelated, but I had similar issues on Stellaris along with some artifacting and the only fix I could find that worked was dropping from 2160p resolution to 1440p, no other games have been affected though, including WoW, Fallout 4 and a few others, maybe worth changing your resolution settings or checking the refresh rates from both your computer and display. Good luck with it
  17. as above is a good choice as a baseline if you are on a limited budget, you can add more storage down the line if you run into space issues.
  18. just look at it this way, the 850 pro is Carl Lewis, the 970 evo is Usain bolt. Both incredibly fast in their prime but Bolt is the fastest if you're only bothered about speed. And yes, I know there are faster enterprise drives etc, but the metaphor still works.
  19. no it's not, as it was never designed to do that in the first place and is clearly malfunctioning somehow. If it was supposed to block wifi or phone signals then it may be breaking telecoms laws depending entirely on where the person lives.
  20. well I am more than happy to recommend it, it is a very good all rounder in my opinion, and it is quite a bit cheaper than the Samsung 970 or 960 of similar capacity.
  21. yes, absolutely, having a new system without an ssd for atleast your OS is criminal in this day and age. If you want to save money you can get a smaller ssd and a mechanical drive for mass storage,
  22. I have a WD Black500gb M.2 drive, been using it for almost a month and the speed is incredible, WD are cheaper than Samsungs, but are also slower, but given most people's usage that literally means windows boots up in 10 seconds instead of 9, so unless you do some really heavy data transfers you really won't notice the difference.
