Finding an unlocked phone should be as simple as before, you may however have to look at alternative sites such as importers on eBay if Huawei decide to completely pull back from the US (unlikely but as their reputation is being hit repeatedly it is not out of the question that they will refocus on less resistant markets such as eastern Europe).

I think, if they do stop focusing on the U.S market, it will only mean that they wont "push" their product to consumers as much. They will still sell them there.
