  1. You can also look a Synology DS216PLAY (239 Euro) and Synology DS216 + II (333 Euro). The DS216PLAY transcode 1* 4k or 1* 1080p and the DS216 + II can transcode 1* 4k or 3* 1080p at a time. Comparison and Specs. And get one or two 4 TB Seagate Iron Wolf HDD (134 Euro). I have not tried any of them, but I have a DS414 and used to have a DS212j and both have worked excellent. DS216Play with 2*4tb HDD (505 Euro) fit well with your budget, but I would probobly go for a DS216+II with one 4tb HDD (467 Euro) and add a second HDD for redundance when I had the money. I have heard QNAP also work well, but I have never tried any them. edit: Synology have a demo site if you want to try dsm https://www.synology.com/en-global/dsm/live_demo
  2. If the ISP want to limit me to 142222 oreos/month and my computer can recive 444 oreos/s the ISP better deliver at that speed. If they limit how many orios I get, I don't want to wait for them to be deliverd. I'd atleast expect express delivery for free. Why can't they come up with 25 or 50 Gbps ethernet so 10 Gbps go down in price. 2.5 and 5 Gbps will be slow by the time it is common with the current development speed.
  3. It looks really cool. It's repressive you can have it so close to the wall. Perfect for use in smal rooms where you can't have a projector 3+ meters away from the wall to get a decent screen size. Also, built in smart TV with streaming capability, Nice!

  5. I would want to give my cousin a OnHub router because he has a very slow 2.4 ghz only router he which regularly stops working and has super poor wifi strength and he lives in a densely populated area with lots of neighbors WiFi networks helping to cause problems. From time to time he gets wierd networking problems and calls me asking to come and fix it. I think a OnHub router would be a great gift for him providing faster reliable wifi and hopfully doesn't need me to come and fix. 6. Selective focus. That's realy cool and I didn't know it couled do that.
  7. I think the fans look good. I would consider buying a few of them. I have been thinking of getting a new case and been looking at the NZXT H440. Maybe I should go with the Orange version.
  8. Acording to the specs the Sony Z4 tablet ultra will have a Snapdragon 810 (Quad-core ARM® Cortex™ A57 and quad-core A53 with 64-bit support), so I don't think it will have any x86 emulation (or other emulation) built in. It will probobly not run Windows 8.1 or any other x86 software natively. I have never heard of a native ARM CPU needing to do any emulation to run ARM code (It wouldn't be a "real" ARM CPU then?). Also I am not familiar with any ARM CPU with dedicated x86 emulation hardware. Though, Nvidia is doing som interesting things with prodject Denver cores. The Nvidia K1 with Denver CPU cores is doing software translation from ARM instructions to it's own custom instruction set. http://techreport.com/news/26906/nvidia-claims-haswell-class-performance-for-denver-cpu-core http://www.pcper.com/news/Processors/NVIDIA-Reveals-64-bit-Denver-CPU-Core-Details-Headed-New-Tegra-K1-Powered-Devices-La
