  1. Min fps is the worst second that actually happend. While 0,1% and 1% are all the worst frametimes (only the average of the highest 0,1% or 1% spikes)
  2. I dont know how the steering wheel is build up exactly, but the potentiometer is probably just acting as a voltage divider. So changing that to another one that can rotate further would work. Even with the same drivers.
  3. There are 2 types of m.2 drives. NVME and sata ones. The sata drives have the same limitations as 2,5 inch drives: they can only reach speeds of around 550mb/s. The port is also slightly different. The m.2 sata onces won't fit in a m.2 NVME port. Your laptop only has a m.2 sata port Sorry this is not correct as said fully correct as said by Jurrunio
  4. He said it reached 90c while playing rocket league.
  5. Do you know what might be causing it then?
  6. I recently build a pc with for a friend, but I couldn't finish it since not al the components arrived. But now his cpu keeps overheating. And since am not there I have basically no idea what is wrong. Am pretty sure there is no problem with mounting pressure. But I am not sure if there was a plastic sheet on the cooler. If there was I didn't remove that. Does anyone know if the wraith spire comes with a plastic cover on the baseplate? Specs: R5 2600x with wraith spire Asrock b450 steel legend
  7. Aren't those things under the screw heads stand-offs? I think those should be under the bracket l.
  8. Yes, it will. The 8 core ryzen 3 doesn't draw much more power than the ryzen 2700x. Overclocking isn't really a thing on zen 2 btw.
  9. No it will not. Some chargers actually accept 100-230v so that might not be a problem. You should check the label/text on the chargers.
  10. Maybe you could try to remove and reinstall the cpu
  11. The red led is a debug led. There probably is some text right next to the led that will tell you a little more about the problem.
  12. One 8 pin connector should be able to supply 384w. The power delivery exists of some mosfets and controllers and sometimes doublers witch have datasheets that can be found online. So determining the quality of the vrm isn't extremely difficult.
  13. https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/1390258/amd-ryzen-7-3700x-boxed.html
  14. Normally you would increase your clockspeed by a little bit and run a stresstest. If I doesn't crash you increase it even more, till it starts crashing. At that moment you would increase the voltage. Run the stress test again and see if it crashes. And so on. Stop with increasing the voltage if ilyour cpu reaches unacceptable temperatures or too high voltage
  15. You definitely don't need a 1000w power supply. 600w will be more than sufficient.
  16. I don't think this meets the tech news guidelines.
  17. Are you sure your cpu heatsink is mounted properly?
  18. Your motherboard might be the bottleneck, it might have a controller on it that is only able to do 100mbps.
  19. Yes, it is true. Since the energy can't just disappear, all the incoming energy get transformed into another type of energy, heat.
  20. 1x1tb. It will probably be faster, higher capacities are usually faster. And it will be more reliable.
