You need to print a desktop background for that Mac !

Welcome to the crew! Gonna be using it for gaming, productivity, or both?

Both. Nice for gaming, and nice for doing school work. I'll have to figure out how to fit them on my desk at college. Probably need a triple monitor stand.

If you're going to college dorm, I would just get wood boards to stand them on. A stand would help reclaim space.

I remember back in the days my best friend bought a brand new GTX590 which was one of the first (the first?) 1080p surround cards. We hooked up 3 different monitors and never really got it to work at 1080p and even with the lower resolution it was a shit experience back then, lol. Now about any mid range gpu is much faster and the tech more advanced.

    Wasn't the 590 also a dual-chip card?

@ARikozuM yeah, a dual 580 at 570 clocks roughly iirc.

It was quite the beast and I also had it a couple months because my friend switched to Linux and the 590 wasn't supported, lol.

I wonder if he still has it.

    Best part is the price.

I got the two monitors with a decent PC for $150. Sold the PC for $115. Then bought a third monitor for $85. So in total, I spent $110 for 3 24" monitors.

And my Rx 480 drives them fine on bf4, fortnite, and Minecraft.

How are those built in speakers

They are actually ok. Much better than most monitors built in speakers. Decent enough for watching videos and stuff, or playing music when doing tasks in my room. Don't get super loud, but good enough.

Plus the cool thing is, the volume buttons actually control Windows volume. And, there is a pop up webcam in the top.

    Also really nice stand.

They are normally kind of expensive, hp e243m.
