  1. No there wouldn't if you had a bad screen it would be 5" not 24", even if there were slightly more failed 5"s than 24"s, the amount of material wasted is not even close.
  2. A case would shift the centre of gravity due to its own weight and it would increase moment of inertia making it harder to cancel out any spinning (that's assuming that the phone can actually be calibrated for the case-which if it does not somehow do automatically it will probably be forgotten). Aside from that a regular vibration motor definitely does not have enough inertia or power to alter the spin significantly in such a short time plus it only works in one axis, what if you want to avoid a full frontal collision, which is probably the most important?.
  3. Put on a case and most of these things would stop working. Aside from that we're talking about sacrificing precious space in an already extremely compact device for something that probably won't make much of a difference. Anyways it's just another one in the massive list of Apple patents with no plans for any actual use.
  4. Haven't really heard much about the original yota phone so I guess I'll wait and see.
  5. From what I understand the technology is definitely there but with larger panels failure rates of such small pixels during manufacturing results in much more wasted material so it's not feasible. Plus there's a much bigger market for phones now so spending so much on r&d of monitors is harder to justify.
  6. I've been able to download multiple instances of inventor for free from their website for over 2 years as a uni student why are they advertising this just now? I'm guessing it's now available for teachers too but it probably was already possible to get it considering the way they check if you're a student or not. I was already available almost anywhere, if I could find it where I live you could probably find it almost anywhere, maybe they added a few countries to the list.
  7. First 2 to follow the link will receive a copy of insurgency: https://www.humblebundle.com/?gift=6RkH33FvyXGyNVem
  8. Yeah fb/messenger and whatsapp really don't like art, sucks it's still the case even after receiving a few updates to support art since kitkat.
  9. That already makes the few extra days it takes to crack not worth it.
  10. Probably less than what would happen if the much larger and compact battery in your phone blew up about the same distance away in your pocket...
  11. This is so much different than the original plans , It looks amazing .
  12. I guess it'd have to be the EDG750 PSU because it's optimized for quiet operation, efficiency and it can provide more than enough power for most rigs.
  13. I'll avoid creating a new thread and post a few keys here if you don't mind: GJA3N-HX5F0-RNLNR GJA9C-C9Y3W-ZK3GE GJA9G-GEDV2-TC6Z4 GJAA6-T2IHL-EQ43V
  14. There's no question about the build quality and simplicity, but for the price tags they come with the damn well better be. I bet if you took into consideration only expensive laptops you'd find similar reliability ratings.
  15. Try using pcb in the console when the UI starts lagging Used to happen to me in FO3 sometimes not NV though.
  16. What's the difference between this and Bridgestone's first prototype demoed a year or so ago? (btw they've only been demonstrated not "released") Also most tyre companies are working on air-less tyres, so no it's not a new idea but it'd be stupid to complain about who copied who unless they blatantly use the same design. I'm guessing these will be even better since they're harder laterally, also after a day of skids you just slip on a new thread and drive home. I guess theoretically you could have drift threads, slick threads, summer threads, winter threads, off road threads etc and just swap them at will, somehow I doubt it will be that easy though.
  17. Actually nVidia won't be losing much since their market share is already tiny. My guess is they will only use these in their Exynos versions, so they will be replacing ARM Mali GPUs and competing mostly against Qualcomm Adreno GPUs.
  18. I believe I found the LTT channel while looking for information on some computer parts in 2010, I believe, granted you didn't do reviews back then, I somehow found unboxings to be interesting, they were short and gave a quick idea of what the product does and possibly some personal opinions, if I wanted more information then I'd look up some actual reviews. Then I subscribed and kept watching the channel along with other related channels and later on the livestreams and the forum (the crappy old one and this) all the while putting up with Linus' bad jokes and it's still without question my favourite tech channel of all (and there are quite a few I follow).
  19. Landsmeet got a bit heated... ...And the new King couldn't handle the heat.
  20. About update 2: The way he speaks we really can't be sure if it's a timed or a complete exclusive, I mean it could be taken that he's saying that this particular game is an exclusive but the next iteration might not be.
  21. By the way he worded it could be taken that he means that this iteration will actually be completely exclusive but future iterations might not.
