    right now 7900xt and 7900xtx are the best price/performance GPUs, but they lack in ray tracing and some people say DLSS is better than FSR (do your own research), if you only want an Nvidia GPU then 4070ti is the best bang for the buck right now but its still shit (AMD are also shit price wise) and you may want to wait until last gen gpus stock is sold, by then most people predicts there will price cuts.

    are you sure the hdmi port don't support 1080p 120hz ? that doesn't make sense and btw way Asus ROG doesn't mean anything its just an Asus brand you need to put the display model

    do you feel like its restricting your gaming performance ? do you have a high refresh rate monitor all this is important, but since you don't even know you probably won't feel the difference if you upgrade just wait for zen 4 since zen3 is a dead platform and not worth the upgrade

    btw do you really need high power psu ? you may need to check effeciency curves for the psu since powering 450watt components with a 1600 watt power supply is less effecient than doing it with for example with a 850 watt psu

    for data corruption always backup since any drive can die at any time and also you can lose the laptop or some accident happen, so always backup what you can't afford to lose as for the fear of having a non working laptop you said you have a spare ssd so no problem

    what do you fear ? - losing the data on the SSD - losing the mac installation and program settings and stuff like that - having a non working laptop for a period if the SSD dies the answer depends on which one is relevant to you

    I'm on a similar situation as you and the problem is that sometimes aliexpress items gets caught by customs for example in my country if the cost is higher than 125usd not what the rules in brazil

    never trust aliexpress items with low order counts even if its seller has high scores there is a lot of ways to fake those if you check a more famous sellers for this cpus you'll find the price is actually 303.88 to 298.88 without a box and 318.03 with a box

    you can check linus home setup ignore the stuff about emulation and unraid you need a motherboard with thunderbolt support then a long fiber thunderbolt cable to a dongle that has hdmi and usb ports

    sorry but 3070 is not a 1080p gpu and even if you want it to be the 2700x is bottlenecking it so either sell it with profit or replace 2700x with a 5600x

    do you feel the bottleneck ? if not don't upgrade just wait for 12th gen intel or zen4 if yes then of course ryzen 5000 is better since you don't have to buy a new motherboard

    that what happens when big channels like LTT covers a niche product and ignore its problems when I commented on their video about this they ignored it I was excited to buy this TV but the ABL issue (its what you're talking about) is what made change my mind and wait for an oled or newer tech monitor can your friend return the TV ?

    the benchmarks and news I heard were with AMD gpus since NVIDIA still doesn't support the feature
