Giving this thread a small bump. So this isn't exactly old and retro but its not my newest gpu so that'll make it fit in the thread right?
I delidded my 560 Ti and have added it to the few other pieces of hardware sitting on my desk. Maybe one day I'll get bored and put the cooler back on and throw it in my rig to see if the temps are any different.

This thread gave me a great excuse to tear into my old windows 98 machine and take some photos of the tech inside. First up is some Micron SDRAM 128Mb memory running at a whopping 100MHz! I also took out the cpu which is a 370 socket Intel Celeron 500. Here are some links to the two photos on my Flickr if anybody wants to see them in high res.

This is a good read to show how Nvidia uses 2GB of ram for a 192 bit bus. Either way mentioned there seems to have compromises when utilizing that last 512mb, but that doesn't mean that the card can't use the full 2GB it has.

Nice picture, love the depth of field. I almost feel like this photo should be in sepia. The plant with the yellow flowers distracts from the focal point (imo).

    Now to mine:

    Downtown Riverside, CA
    Shot from Cessna 172, I was co-pilot. Sony A6000.
It's not a perfect shot, it's difficult to get still images at sunset from a moving plane

Yes, I would try to get some actual potatoes rather than using a stand-in, these just don't have the same feel at all

6/10 i like the feel and look of the image, the clouds look amazing - But i feel it needs some work.

The photo should be cropped in a different way imo. and you should be closer to the other cars.
Reflection in the windshield is unfortunate.
The colors doesnt really pop, especially in the sky.

It has nice nostalgic feel to it. Makes me think of something like the 50s when the first commercial airplanes came out. The framing is also quite nice.

It's been a couple of colder days here, and I noticed some nice ice crystals have formed outside in certain spots. I tried to take some macros of them today, something I have been meaning to do for a while.

I like the grey/gold contrast of the motive along with the great detail. The shield looks like a 3D map with all the missing pieces of the cracking surface. 8/10, not too much that could be done differently

I've been up early today to get some pictures with fog. I saw this deer on a meadow looking for juicy grass.

I really like this one, but I feel like perhaps the framing could be better.  And I find that water in the back oddly distracting but that's probably just me

7/10, nice composition but i feel its a little too dark. Probably not much you could have done though as it looks like the picture was taken in an unlit garage.

Here's a shot i got this past weekend. Decided to go black and white with this image as i feel it suits the car. Shot on my fuji x pro1 with a old vivitar 28mm f2.5

Here is a photo I took during the "Luchtmachtdagen 2016" in my country. Its a demo/airshow event organised by the Dutch Airforce. This is a photo of the Italian airdemo team "Frecce Tricolori". I would like to hear what you guys think of it. Shot on a Canon 7d

Beautiful colors! I've heard people complain about Sony colors but it looks good to me!

This is only my second time shooting astro and I wish I had lowered my ISO cuz the image is a bit noisy. Anyway. Milky way core on the left, Saturn in the middle, and the bright thing on the right is Mars.
