  1. I think this 350 watt unit would be sufficient. EDIT: On second though, maybe not quote enough watts? https://www.amazon.com/SilverStone-Technology-Supply-Connector-SST-FX350-G-USA/dp/B07QGMX5DW/ref=asc_df_B07QGMX5DW/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=380013417597&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=3135380492921065707&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9007574&hvtargid=pla-817080367406&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=77922879259&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=380013417597&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=3135380492921065707&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9007574&hvtargid=pla-817080367406
  2. They did a video on a "kick proof TV" I'm saying, make a booth where you get to kick the "kick proof TV" yourself.
  3. The warranty is issued by the manufacturer, not distributor. Amazon only cares if it is within the return window.
  4. lot more opportunities for damage. When you screw everything into a case, many components all get grounded to the case via motherboard standoffs, brackets, and such. Then the case drains into the power supply via the power supply screws and also just the fact that power supply housing makes contact with the case and then it all gets discharged by the power cord into the wall.
  5. Just chasing that last degree... I didn't realize just how loud 60dB was
  6. thanks for the help guys, I'll stay away
  7. 210 CFM / 6000 RPM with PWM control for $21.50 sounds good on paper. 60dB is loud as hell but PWM control should allow for some tuning. Not to mention the high power draw. Any thoughts? https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/delta-electronics/QFR1212GHEEVT/603-QFR1212GHEEVT-ND/11201149
  8. Huh? edit: Nevermind.. I get it ?
  9. $80 2600x with and extra $20 off with motherboard bundle. What a time to be alive.
  10. The best value, probably RX 5700 XT, Its an upgrade for sure, but I dont know if its really enough of an upgrade to justify the cost. If you dont mind refurbished, this RTX 2080 is decent at $450. https://store.zotac.com/zotac-gaming-geforce-rtx-2080-zt-t20800g-10p-r Here is a deal on a 5700XT https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1536337-REG/xfx_force_rx_57xt8tbd8_radeon_rx_5700_xt.html If you check local ads, GTX 1080s can be found for $200 -$250 but again with the cost vs upgrade justification. If you value your money, maybe just go with your current setup and go from there.
  11. Assuming you are currently on a 1920x1080 60 Hz monitor; My recommendation would be a 1440p 144Hz monitor and the most expensive graphics card you can afford. Really an RTX 2060 or RX 5600XT or better. Otherwise, I don't really think it'll get you the results you are looking for. As an intermediary, just getting the graphics card, and using the existing monitor until you could afford a nicer one could slightly improve you gameplay experience. You'll still be capped at 60 FPS (assuming you monitor is 60Hz,) but you'd ideally have a lower input lag, and better overall frametime performace/ minumframerate. Also, I'd really recommend getting 16 GB dual channel total RAM. Not sure what your current config is...
  12. Theres a good chance you're limited by the monitor to 60 FPS then. What sort of issues are you experiencing?
  13. What's your existing graphics card, monitor resolution + refresh rate, and price range? It really depends on the specific game, but this can at least give us a general idea.
  14. You're definitely looking a graphics card upgrade. Might as well upgrade to 16 GB of ram while you're at it.
  15. Nvidia GeForce 8400 GS https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=01G-P3-1302-RX Tip... you can save a 5% by using the affiliate code from reddit R/Buildapcsales: S1UQP0HAKH2GPDI https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapcsales/comments/d6miuo/evgacom_update_rewhitelisted/?ref=share&ref_source=embed&utm_content=title&utm_medium=post_embed&utm_name=c787f26963fe4c53acce76c356165bc6&utm_source=embedly&utm_term=d6miuo
  16. Okay! Just to confirm, you even fired up a game? Basic tasks worked OK but games only a few minutes into a game and it'd crash.
  17. EVGA.com also has this for US. There is an affiliate code on reddit (post linked below) to save %10 on all power supply purchases at checkout. ($8 off) EVGA.com tends to charge a bit more on shipping though which might kill this one... The code is S1UQP0HAKH2GPDI https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=100-GD-0600-V1 EDIT: If you have an AMEX card, you can get this for $63.98 on amazon with no mail in rebate, but the 20% promo ends today. ($50 off limit FYI)
