  1. ah man I would go with the Corsair VOID, I see what you said in the previous reply but they are honestly pretty great, I just recently purchased a pair, and honestly do not regret it all all, they really are pretty awesome! they have some bad reviews, but they work perfect for everyday music, gaming, mic is really not that bad. great pair. Worth IT!
  2. Hey guys so quick question to get some opinions on the matter, Currently I have an i5-6600k with 16Gb ram and looking at upgrading to an 8600k GPU I'm running is an G1 gaming 980TI so my question is, do you think it will be worth upgrading to the 8600k or perhaps wait for the next gen GPU's to come out and rather upgrading then to a better GPU and leaving the 6600k until budget allows it to be upgraded, keeping in mind the 980ti is running like a dream to be honest and im not playing anything at 4k I only game at 1080p but I do use the PC as a workstation, but nothing major, mostly hosting and web development type of work, any feedback would be appreciated
  3. What about coolermasters MasterPulse headphones? I am actually planning on buying a pair of these, they are 48 bucks, check them out https://www.amazon.com/MasterPulse-Over-Ear-Headset-Technology-Console/dp/B01KBXKG9K/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1510059854&sr=8-2-fkmr0&keywords=cm+masterpulse
  4. My buddy has one of these https://www.amazon.com/VIOTEK-GN32Q-2560x1440p-Crosshairs-Functionality/dp/B073V5T7WB/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1509992526&sr=8-3&keywords=computer+monitor+1440p They are pretty awesome, 32" 2560x1440 running 144hz and has a 1ms response time, also curved : check it out

  6. So who else owns Electroneum? And what are your thoughts? I bout about 130 of them, and mined another 100, I see it spiked up quite nicely but then everybody dumped and the price is back down again.
  7. hay I like contests - too bad I never win any but worth a shot! thanks!!
  8. Luckily noise is not much of an issue for us as its all stored at our Datacenter but I agree with what you say. There are some really good second hand options, we just have the opportunity to buy new so we went with those CPU's with 32GB ECC ram, its not the best but it performs well and does the Job, although I am sure there are some much cheaper options out there, and second hand is a good option, although personally if you are going to use it for a business purpose I would rather go for new hardware.
  9. IT will all depend on your budget, we use Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1240 v6 in our NAS servers and they work perfect. 1u case is rather noisy though, or at least our 1u setup's are rather noisy
  10. That I will not be able to answer, I have seen a zotac 1080 overclock higher than a standard 1080, given it ran hotter, but still could handle the high load and did not bomb out where the standard 1080 did, as for the 1070TI I honestly do not know, I have not tested it myself and there are not too many videos out on it, keep in mind though overclocking depends from 1 card to another, no 2 cards are the same, I would go for the 1080 just for that fact that it is cheaper and out of the box it will be faster than the 1070TI. The 1080 has more CUDA cores and higher memory clock. also keep that in mind
  11. Have you guys considered reviewing some Sharkoon Items, I see the last Sharkoon item on LTT youtube channel is the XTATIC headset you guys did 7 years ago, They have some really affordable gaming things like mice, keyboards, cases. Was just thinking as their items are a bit more affordable for the guys that cannot afford the latest and best gaming peripherals. Just a thought
  12. Have you considered a Ryzen system? even a Ryzen 3 system with a decent GPU can save you some money and they honestly do not perform that bad at all!
  13. It all comes down to you, some people will rather go with the zotac 1080 mini, it has 2 fans atleast and you can overclock it, but then again a 1070TI will be able to be overclocked quite decently as well, I personally think that the difference gaming wise would not be that major, people are welcome to correct me if I am wrong. I cannot find any reviews yet comparing a 1070TI to a 1080 mini but if you look at a mini compared to a full size 1080 - there is such a little difference when it comes to gaming, only difference seems to be heat, the mini runs a bit hotter, but not enough to cause trouble. Once again, comes down to personal preference.
  14. Anybody else have a G6? If so, how is it? How does it perform and what are the issues you are having with it, if any ?
  15. I guess you are right and a good answer, it all comes down to personal preference and what will suite what you plan to do with the cards
  16. Correct me if I am wrong but is overclocking not also quite limited with just 1 fan? Cooling wise? I am referring to the 1080 mini
  17. as per most of the videos I have watched with regards to the 1070 TI and this is NOT from personal experience, but it seems to be closer to the 1080 than what it is to the 1070. Is it worth upgrading? Well that depends what you currently have. If you have something like a 980 TI like I do, I personally would not bother to upgrade to anything less than a 1080TI. Upgrading to anything less for me, would feel like a waste and i'm sure I would be disappointed with the performance .
  18. Agreed, I am running a gigabyte g1 980 TI which I overclocked and getting better results than my buddies 1070 - although he does not really upgrade, I am considering upgrading to a 1080TI though, as that is the only card that gives a decent performance improvement over the 980TI, although i'm still a bit hard pressed to upgrade!
  19. Think of all the quality time you can spend with your system, backing up those 10000 dvd"s
  20. Have you seen the sharkoon TG 5 case, I know sharkoon is known to be on the "cheap side" although not RGB it is a pretty nice case and has space for the AIO cooler, Just my 2 cents
