    Here is what I'd do,

    1) open elevated cmd prompt and run sfc /scannow before going to work
    2) check results
    3) in elevated CMD prompt run this command: DISM /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth
    if an issue is found
    4) DISM /online /cleanup-image /Restorehealth (dont worry if it feels like its frozen, its probably not)

Your issue is almost 100% identical to an old ticket I worked on awhile back, and DISM fixed it.

If it's operating fine, no need to update BIOS... unless the later BIOS has features that you need?

I've seen this before. There's a fix for Payday 2, and may very well be similar for Farm Sim.

    Hi @mcoskuntr

This is a fairly common issue. I'm willing to bet that you either wear loafers or slippers or that you have carpet in the room. Either way, some cases (and its not a specific brand or model) have little to no grounding for the front I/O panel, or is just not adequate enough. So what is happening is when you are hooking up your USB device it will short slightly, and because of how the cabling is done internally, the electronics are "sort of" using your reset switch cables as the ground... which means? You know it! the current goes all the way to the motherboard, and it thinks its being triggered for a reboot.

The end result is you going absolutely ape shit thinking you have a hardware failure. This is super common on real cheap budget cases from no name brands.

Open your case up if you feel like it and investigate what the grounding looks like for the front I/O port, you may be surprised.

Hey bud, I just went through your DMP's and I can see that the CPU called the error. Try to update your BIOS. If that fails, start raising your voltage in very small increments to see if it improves.
But first. Check your CPU temps. Something is definitely affecting your CPU and making it fail. Either it didnt like being OC'ed or the motherboard is pooped (just a hunch at this point because you mentioned the memory thing)

A good idea might be to swap out ram one piece at a time and test too.

PS: Dont be lazy, be efficient, so you can be lazy later.

Syncrosys got a reaction from TheCherryKing in Is it worth doing?
I second @TheCherryKing your CPU is not bottle-necking your GPU. I'd wait another year. Especially with the CPU war just heating up. Prices will fluctuate, the Ryzen platform will get better and we might see some actual improvements. If you look at my sig you'll see I'm running a 4th Gen i5 that isnt that much fast than yours, and I'm not bottle-necked. The only game at this point that dips is GTA 5........ but its GTA 5. I've looked at an upgrade just last month, and the slight gain of 5~10 FPS is just not worth the trouble and the money.

you could drop the i3 and go straight to the 4650 that puts you right back in the price range
