  1. Yes. You can use an extension such as "Dark Reader" to make all/some websites "dark mode". It's not perfect. But you can tweak it and customize it site by site and/or have a single global setting for all sites. For example, this is what Dark Reader looks like when enabled on the Light Theme.
  2. It's just to determine the concentration of oil in the product. The more there are, the longest lasting it will be. Eau fraiche is basically your aftershave. Last 30 minutes to an hour. Cologne tends to last about 2 hrs or so. 5% or less. Eau de toilette (EDT) usually last a bit longer but not by much, around 3-4 hrs. Typically around 5% to 10%, some go to 15%. Eau de parfum (EDP) has a higher concentration and can last anywhere between 5 to 8 hours. Around 20% oil concentration. Parfum, is by itself at the top if we exclude pure oil. Easily lasting a day. Can go to around 30% and even 40% in oil concentration. Obviously the higher concentrations are more expensive. It also entirely depends on your use case and how long you want/need to smell. I don't know if there are actual guidelines in the industry for these. This is just info I found online. But please. Do everyone a favor... Don't empty the entire bottle on yourself. 2 sprays at the minimum. 5 MAX. I swear some people are spraying this stuff all over themselves and you can still smell them 10 minutes after they passed through an area.
  3. I was going to suggest booting into a live instance of either Linux or some lite version of windows... But you have bitlocker, so you're SOL on that side of things. Your best bet would be safe mode and go through entering the recovery key. Along with using a few other anti viruses, including Malwarebytes, to see if they can't help you better than MS defender.
  4. Framework wants to go in other product categories

  5. Evaluations are not free for a reason. You're making them show up at your house to check the work that needs to be done. Travel time and time at your place, is time they can't work on a job at another customer's house. Them taking the cost of the evaluation off the total cost of the job is perfectly normal to do as that time would then be included in the time needed to complete the job. If you want a "free quote", it usually involves them not showing up, a 5 minutes phone call and would simply be an estimate based on other jobs they've done.
  6. While you technically can upgrade your hardware without reinstalling windows in many cases... Ideally you would be uninstalling your old chipset drivers prior to upgrading the hardware to give yourself a fighting chance. That said. You did not just upgrade the motherboard and CPU, right? You should've also changed your RAM. Old board is DDR4, new board is DDR5. I would recommend you test your new hardware for any issues. Either with memtest86 or prime95 on blend test that has all the RAM selected. I would also suggest trying to boot on a USB live instance of whichever Linux distro of your choosing and trying it out for 10-20 minutes. Just to see if it fails there. If it doesn't. It is likely Windows that is the issue. If it does, the issue is more like to be hardware related.
  7. Are your current performances dragging you down? Do you really need to upgrade now? If not, wait. If you do feel you're being held back and really want to upgrade... Then a 5800x3d is an easy upgrade. No need to buy a new motherboard or ram. After that you can keep it for a year or two and upgrade to AMD 10000 series (or whatever they call it)
  8. Artifacts and driver crash... It's aligning toward a faulty GPU chip. You could run DDU and reinstall your drivers to see if it helps. Possibly to an older version you knew for a fact worked fine. Another possible culprit, could be the RAM if the graphic driver fails. If it only ever crash in this one game... You could also try verifying the file integrity if it's on Steam or reinstalling it.
  9. While they may not support hardware AV1 decoding, as long as they have Android 12 or higher, they should have native software decoding for AV1, no? At least that's what I'm getting from the article.
  10. It could be. Just like it could not be properly installed. Or the thermal paste was low quality and dried out... Is the pump being set to follow PWM curve or is it at the full speed all the time? You want that water flowing. If you're sending less voltage to the pump, it might not be able to spin up. What is the position of the radiator relative to the pump? https://youtu.be/DKwA7ygTJn0
  11. I quit Counter Strike after Source. I quit Final Fantasy after 12. That game was so bad... Tried getting into 15, couldn't. The active combat mechanic is not what I wanted from a final fantasy game. I did play the FF7 remake, but only out of nostalgia. I haven't bought a single EA game after they ruined SimCity and closed servers left and right for games. Like DarkSpore. Lost all interest in Diablo after D3. Didn't buy or play D4. Age of Empire. I quit after the 2nd game. So many more that I'm forgetting... For good reason. I never got into CoD, Battlefield, MoH and the likes that were getting a new game every year or two. Never got into Assassin Creed either.
  12. What is a whatnot live stream? They do host the WAN show and other livestream on floatplane, yes.
  13. You can remove trusted devices if you can log into the account on a computer. You can recover an account through various means as well, even if 2fa is enabled. I would suggest getting the backup codes at the very least. I store mine in a Keepass database. But you can use Bitwarden or the likes. All you need to do, is remember that one password and possibly share it across multiple devices. You could put that keepass database on a CD or usb drive someone and just... forget about it until the day you need it if your codes never change.
  14. That's... Weird. Usually when you place the order, it will say right then and there how much the tax is. It shouldn't suddenly change after the fact. That wording make it weird for sure. Maybe they means it in a "once you've filled all the boxes, the tax will show the proper number". After entering my address, the estimated tax went from $3.50 to $11.98. Which is accurate for where I live (Canada).
  15. If IPSs want to act like children and just keep lying about the services they offer, lets treat them as such and make them do this ridiculous thing. They've been allowed for way too long to get away with their shady practices.
  16. Looking at the comment section... It seems people are mostly mad about the price and him saying "portable screen that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg" when it's over $800 (+89$ for the pen).... And the fact an ipad pro is about the same price, same resolution and doesn't need a computer to connect it to... What they seems to be ignoring is the fact this is not just a touch screen portable monitor. It's a DRAWING portable screen. "Designed for creatives, professionals and people who need to perform at their best, anywhere. " - their FAQ. It's different from a regular touch screen. It's made to compete with the likes of Wacom... which are even more expensive. Not the iPad. https://estore.wacom.com/en-us/wacom-cintiq-pro-17-dth172k0a.html The closest equivalent display is the Cintiq 17 Pro at $2.5k. 4k, 1.07B colors and 99% DCI-P3 colour space. Basically the same display specs as the Espresso 17 (they claim 100% DCI-P3 but shortcircuit video says it's closer to 98). Which is less than half the price. Maria made the comment that it wasn't as accurate as what she is used to. Now there's little to no available specs on the Apple Pen or iPas as far as precision points goes(or any other specs that matter, thanks Apple )... But the Espresso's pen is around 4000 precision points while the wacom is double that at 8192 . Looking at reviews online, it seems like the ipad pro with an apple pen is close to Wacom on that side of things. Which could explain her thoughts on that matter as far as precision goes. My only complaint with that video, is that they pretend like it's just for Mac with that title. It is why I hadn't even watched it in the first place because I wasn't interested in a product for Apple computers. But it also is compatible with Windows. Which they did not mention once in the video. Had they made this video showcasing it as a drawing tablet on your Windows PC instead of pushing the ridiculous "touchscreen for Mac" narrative, it probably would've worked better. Overall, bad execution. But it doesn't mean it isn't worth the price for what you get. Especially if you're not deep in the Apple Eco-system and want to add a "creative" display with a touchscreen to your Windows computer for design work. Amateur or semi pro.
  17. Even though I was working, my co-workers decided they wanted to go outside to see it... I followed because I wasn't about to be the only one who would be working like a dumbass when even my boss went out to see it. We were on the very edge of the totality path. Got to see it for about 30s from the moment the sun got hidden completely to when it restarted showing up again. The halo of rainbow all around the sun as it was slowly getting covered up was a nice touch from the devs. Maybe in the future I'll make some travel plans to go somewhere straight in the middle of the totality. We will be getting a total Lunar eclipse next year (bloodmoon). https://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/lunar/2025-march-14 Blacktown, NSW, Australia will be straight in the middle of it in 2028 https://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/in/australia/blacktown?iso=20280722
  18. Ah yes, how dare these shady browsers change default settings... Any other app you will see a screen popup asking if you want to make that your default app. But browsers? Nope. You need to manually configure it. It's bullshit.
  19. Because they are made with consoles in mind first. Optimizing it for 1 or 2 hardware variant is much easier than doing the same with millions of different ones. Two nearly identical PCs with a motherboard and CPU being different could completely change the way a game is handled by the system. Also because there's "more money" to be made on console than on PC. It's easier to get in console gaming than PC gaming. From a cost and time perspective. Along with the fact more than a few publishers see PC gamers as second class citizens, because we're all filthy pirates according to them.
  20. Because I don't just play games and I wanted the best bang for my buck. A pre-built PC would've been fine, but for the same price or slightly bit more, I could have a much better custom PC. A console is fine if all you do if play games... But I spent the majority of my time on the internet or on some other application. Not in games.
  21. We usually at least have 2 choices in most places (not fake choices where they pretend to serve an area for the FTC when they only have connectivity to a single house in the entire block, like what we hear about US ISPs). Along with third party resellers who resell the same packages for slightly cheaper in exchange for less support. Honestly I'm just surprised you could keep a cloud recording for that long in the first place. Personally, I haven't had a TV service in my home for the past 4 years. Haven't felt the need for it, everything is available on the internet anyway.
  22. Why is it that whenever something happens to some random e-celebrity, suddenly we can't make any jokes at all or risk getting cancelled... I have no clue who this minecrafter is. Never heard of them. Nor do I care. There are women getting assaulted every day in the world, why is this particular event worthy of "too soon" and not the million others? Just because you happen to know of some recent event with someone you watch(ed), doesn't mean everyone else know of the same event as you. To me the "recent event" involving LMG, was the whole Madison debacle that happened MONTHS ago, if not years at this point if you consider she left in december of 2021. Everything that may or may not have happened in other communities is inconsequential here, why even bring it up. Saying a joke is "too soon" because of some recent event you know... Is entirely ridiculous simply based on the fact we are not a hive mind and we don't all know what you're thinking about. If we go by that logic, it is ALWAYS too soon. Because someone out there either recently experienced it themselves or know someone who has. Stop trying to gatekeep low level comedy. It's just that. Nothing more. Low taste for sure, but that's all it is. These bad sexual jokes have been the bread and butter of LTT since the start. This is nothing new. Just because you're offended, doesn't mean you're right.
  23. I'm working that day. I ain't seeing the sun from 6am to 6pm. https://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/list.html Here's the list of the next few eclipses if you miss out or if you don't live in the red path. Always possible to travel in the next few years to any of the locations where there will be an eclipse.
  24. I find many PCs in the trash on the side of the road. No one brings them to the eco center. It's not uncommon.
  25. They were likely all on holiday yesterday and the forum doesn't have a way to send out a thread at an exact time/date automatically.
