  1. https://www.wikihow.com/Repair-Dodgy-or-Broken-Headphones
  2. If your focus is on your storage options then Samsung's 860 Sata Evo and m.2 960 Pro will do well. I usually only put two drives in Raid 0 so I don't know exactly what capacity you are looking for to Raid together. Just remember that higher capacity SSDs perform better than the lower capacity counterpart.
  3. If you want the full performance of you network, well position wired access points in each room will serve you better. WiFi will give you slower speeds. Mesh can serve the needs for everything (else like smart switches). I personally use Google WiFi but most brand mesh systems do pretty well. Ubiquiti seems to do well for Linus... Depending on the system you can adjust or it will auto adjust the WiFi channels for the best reception. (bands within the 2.4 and 5 ghz)
  4. If you like you can share your current pc build and people will offer upgrade suggestions.
  5. Personally, I don't think transition from a blower 1070 to regular fan 1070 makes that big of a difference to be worth buying another 1070. Unless you plan to do some SLI thing... you're better off fully upgrading to a higher tier or if you are open to it you can mod your current 1070 to be water cooled. (something like the EK phoenix kit can make water cooler easier for beginners)
  6. Not that hard at all, I am assuming you have used a PC for regular things like web browsing and typing. Now you can just game. If you are not used to keyboard and mouse just plug in your PS4 controller. Games are also cheaper on PC and you have more options of where to buy them.
  7. Is there anything else that happens when it freezes? Like does the fan spin up a lot or if the laptop is getting hotter?
  8. Sounds like you've hit lucky? Enjoy your faster net, if the price is ok.
  9. Can you share anymore details on the laptop (model) and how long you've had it or how you use it? Did you install something new recently? Hard to figure out the problem with just saying it freezes....
  10. I've been flashing my BIOS on my Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 with no problems for the past 2 years. So from that experience, I don't think that is an issue anymore.
  11. The water is suppose to weaken the acid but you can try a small patch before applying it all over. It is up to you if you want to try.
  12. You can try a vinegar & water solution and see if the acid from the vinegar does any better. Or if you want something to just fix it, you can paint your case.
  13. Spare gaming PC is fine and all but you can also use it as a NAS/Server type of thing. Either to host games like minecraft or running a media server like Plex. I am sure other people will have other ideas.
