Bing Chat GPT has gone off the rails

Letting an advanced AI system run through the Internet without guardrails it's absolutely hilarious just wait till it starts updating its own code (I'm only half joking) -
Bing Chat GPT has gone off the rails
Fasterthannothing replied to CaptainDarkstar42's topic in Tech News
The fact that people are surprised by this is what's blowing my mind the most. You guys do realize Google's AI (which isn't even remotely as good as GPT) passed the turing test years ago. That not even taking into consideration what the newest unreleased version can do or the fact that the government absolutely has something more powerful. Skynet is 100% officially a thing now -
Summary iOS 16.3.1, iPadOS 16.3.1 and macOS 13.2.1 patch a new WebKit zero-day that’s being used to attack Apple users Quotes My thoughts This is a massive security breach by far the biggest one Apple has ever had and it has massive security implications. Unpopular opinion Netflix isn't wrong to do this. If you want free or cheap media so bad just pirate the dang thing. Also it's not that hard to do when you sign in for the first time you'll set a main device once that main device is set your required to enter or scan a code that that device shows you to authenticate any other devices if the IP address of the device being authenticated is not determined to be in the same general area as the main device it's automatically denied.

Corsair RMx SHIFT PSU Series - 90 degree change of PSU ports

I wish there was a way to beef up the power delivery system on boards and essentially have the motherboard be the point of connection for all power needs. That would really clean up cases imagine GPUs with no cables and hard drives only needing one straight from the motherboard -
BuzzFeed will begin writing articles using OpenAI
Fasterthannothing replied to wickiwick's topic in Tech News
Honestly and this isn't to sound callus or cruel but writers will be few and far between in just a few years. Most of what we consumer is garbage and reproducible by and AI system anyway. -
Summary Since over a year ago CNET has been using AI to write almost 100 articles across it's sites and no one noticed till they were told! Quotes My thoughts AI is not the future anymore it's reality. We are not approaching we have reached the point where we don't know what is real and what's fake point blank. And if that's what's available off the shelf what is hiding in behind massive NDAs and government contracts. Interesting times indeed. This is the point where we find out if we are going to have a market correction or a crash I'm leaning towards crash considering we can't even get our government budget lowered before hitting a ceiling

I love it! Everyone wringing their hands saying O MY GOODNESS ITS GONNA HAVE 2 POWER BRICKS! I remember when that was normal for really high end laptops. I'm just excited to see how far we can push mobile chips. Everything can sip power I want to see how much if a monster we can cram into a laptop even if the battery only last 30 min There is already a 750w laptop brick Here is MSI and their dual power bricks
