Does Am4 mbo have problem with ram led?
  2. Did AMD officialy confirmed that Zen3 will support current am4 motherboards? In this news is stated that Zen2 and Zen3 is 7nm and we know that 100% Zen2 will be compatible with current AM4 boards so there is a big chance that Zen3 is also compatible. http://wccftech.com/amd-zen-2-zen-3-7nm-cpu-architecture-details/ From comment section: "From what I've read, everything up to 2020 will be on AM4. So let's hope. I would love to be able to upgrade my PC without buying a new mobo, ram, etc. It's the smartest way to cell new CPUs, simply make it a viable/logical option to do so."
  3. don`t know spec, these 5k are used as I see on every b350 and some x370 boards. mariushm Thank you very much for your long answer. I was just asking these because I will buy b350 Asus strix board which will probably have 5k capacitors, just curious. No worry than, they will last
  4. I found this on one forum about 5k capacitors: The capacitors lifetime doubles by reducing 10° C. Here the math for 5 K cap for "normal" usage for small gaming (5 Hr each day): 5000÷5÷365 = 2.739726027 ~= 2.74 So, 5 K caps have a lifetime of 2.74 year of 5 Hr each day running at 105° Celsius. 2.74 years at 105° C while running 5 Hr each day 5.48 years at 95° C while running 5 Hr each day 10.96 years at 85° C while running 5 Hr each day 21.29 years at 75° C while running 5 Hr each day I would say, even 5 K caps would run 20 years, if not under constantly stress. Question: at what temp capatitors usually works? I know that in load mbo temp is around 30-40c...

  7. I read that logitech z series have buzzing problem. Any other recommendations?
  8. Does anyone here have Sound BlasterX Kratos S3 ? I read that they are very good for a price but in two reviews it is stated that they have white noise. Is this frequent problem with this speakers? Any other recommendation for 2.1 speakers under 80€? What about Speedlink majesty 2.1 or Trust 2.1 gxt 38?
  9. Isn`t hydraulic bearing just a subversion of sleeve bearing?
  10. Is hydraulic bearing fans (Fractal design GP-14) good to mount horizontaly? Will it last without problems (noise, durabilty)?
  11. If I decide to remove them any clue where can I get some filter for top? Not Decifilter, they are expensive...
  12. From the article I think that Zen 2 will be compatible but with Zen 3 they will release Am4+ socket, so Zen 3 won't go into current boards, probbably on revision boards.
  13. Regarding this news will Zen 2 and Zen 3 support current AM4 motherboards? I was thinking of buying Asrock x370 K4 and some R5 cpu, and later upgraded it to Zen 3...

    TPC 600

Also there is a 612 ver2 which is officially supported on their page for AM4. Their support is not completley sure but they say it should support AM4. They will reply to me today. A week ago when I asked them about TPC 600 AM4 support they told me that it won`t support AM4. We will see

    TPC 600

Weird question. I am planning to go on AM4 socket but problem is that my CPU cooler Cooler master TPC 600 doesn`t support that socket (asked their support). On their page I see that TPC 612 will support AM4. Surfing the internet I almost didn`t find any information regarding my cooler, like it didn`t existed. On picture version 612 is the same as 600. Is 600 and 612 one and same cooler? Cooler master support gave me wrong information?
  18. Seems more logical to me for fans after load to turn off below 38c, that increase fan durabillity. More people with rx 480, expiriance?
  19. I set similar fan curve in Afterburner. When I activate apply overclocking at startup, on next startup it doesn't remember that option so Afterburner always must be on for fan curve to be working. But that's not the point. My question is about temperature, when are fans supposed to turn off after gaming? Card doesn't work right, RMA?
  20. On Alzashop every Asus AM4 has 60 months warranty. All other AM4 board on that page offer 36 months warranty...
