    I used to be lactose intolerant. Now I'm not.

    I've always found it odd that lactose intolerance is considered a disorder when 65% of the world's population is lactose intolerant. Wouldn't that make the ability to process lactose the actual thing that is weird?

     

    Also @DrMacintosh how do you go from being lactose intolerant to not being lactose intolerant? I thought it was because your body really dials back the production of the lactase enzyme after infancy. It kind of sounds like you were experiencing something else that appeared like lactose intolerance and when that went away your symptoms went away.

    @imreloadin Haha, yeah, I'm pretty sure as we get older we're not supposed to consume milk. Much like the other animals in the world. We're just stubborn AF.
