Your GPU is toast Mine was running hot for couple weeks because I didn't realise the factory paste was dried out and died a year later. Yours might be just of old age.

My old 480 did the same, one day updated the driver and usage is not flat on 100%. Do you notice any performance loss or stutter?

Anybody got tips or a profile for a Gigabyte 5700 OC?
JupiteL replied to Crablemet's topic in Graphics Cards
Lower you voltage and clock speed. I did it with my 5700 XT (-0.2V, -250MHz clock, and -10% power limit) and rarely even see it hitting 100C in 29C ambient. -
At best we'd have Steam market for used games and the price would be adjusted to region pricing. Honestly, living in a country where if the price is the same as in the US, I'd have less than half games in my library.

8GB Ram vs. 16GB...What's Enough?
JupiteL replied to Constellation's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
I'm currently only using 4gb as one of the module isn't working. With only chrome running I usually get 80-90% of RAM usage (4-10 tabs). That means there's only around 4gb of space left on the other stick, and that would be for the games, steam, discord, and other apps. So I would say get 16gb, it would be better for gaming as well since 8gb is less stable for game performance. -
What about those softwares used in internet cafes? The ones that lock you out after a certain amount of pre-paid time.

Dual Channel RAM Only Reads as Single Channel
JupiteL replied to JupiteL's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
This might sadly be the problem as the PC won't boot when I only use the undetected one. Just wanted to make sure since the RMA process is not so easy. I have no idea. Windows usually acting up if I turn on the computer from sleep mode, but force shutdown like that was a first. -
My PC had a force shutdown when I was playing BF1. When it booted itself back it only detects one stick of RAM (8x2), after I adjusted their seating and went on to the BIOS it reads both, but only function as single channel, and the reading in task manager only has 4GB. I'm using old Asrock UEFI BIOS from 2017, and not sure if it's the problem. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hell no. The reason why mobile controllers are bulky is to make space for holding the phone without covering 25% of the screen.

YouTube Is Changing the Way It Displays Subscriber Counts
JupiteL replied to Tech_Dreamer's topic in Tech News
When I care about a channel I would keep track of the sub number, but I guess I can't anymore because of a thing. Imagine what will happen to youtube in 10 year if we get a feature removed after ONE channel has a backlash.- 53 replies

Back in my days we skipped classes just to play CS and Dota in internet cafe. School is boring and parents have no control, whatever game it is doesn't matter. If you think school and family matter the most then you should make them more interesting than video games.

BioWare is just a dying horse that EA keep making people bet on. If you also followed ME:A development hell, you know this is not a big news. They're seriously lacking in management, we can't even blame EA anymore since they had time to work, it's just the company itself isn't functioning.
