    I agree 50% 5900x for gaming is overkill YES. Idd also get a 5600x and put the saved $$ at the GPU. However the NH D15 is an excellent choice! Super silent, no matter what you throw at it. Also absolut perfect quality

    You can. That chip is close to a nuke in thermal output and will clock down but will run (slower).

    Do you have anotther PSU to test with? Can you borrow one from someone?

    3900xt -> le cores! in case you ca find a cheap 3900x, this will also do the trick! GPU is fine. Most editing software need cpu power first, GPU second.

    Yep! That will get you the most performance/$. That will get you a super solid laptop but with less speed (and used, but thinkpads run forever)

    Are you able to download the podcast? If so you can get Audacity (free) and compress it. I would suggest trying to get the most boost via compression and not the limiter. However this depends on the style of the recording.

    i suggest to invest some more in noc and getting a quality product. But sure there are cheaper options.

    yeha but the noc will do it more silently (yes i know then the case fans also have to be silent) and will do it for longe without problems. My GF now has my old noc form 2010 and it runs like on day 1.

    in that case i would recommend getting a second intake fan whilst getting the Noc. Then I would do. Front bottom intake, Noc in push and oriented vertically (blowing at the rear fan) and rear exhaust.

    That RAM is not that tall. There are much taller modules in the market So yeha: I am 99% sure it will fit

    All of this depends on the rest of the system. Mind to provide us the PCPP link so that we can have a look? In my opinion the 5500XT is a decent card for the price, but yeha also depends on what you are planing to do with the system?

    Not worht it. Get a 3600 and a B450 board. Faster in multicore and more versatile when it comes down to future compatibility and fast CPUs :) MOBO: b450 A Pro MAX form MSI

    Yeah sure. But do you have any models in mind? I know much about hardware but nothing about prebuilds and their quality.

    We have a SmartTV with eARC, a 5.1 speaker setup at the TV and an external 2.0 speaker setup. Are there receivers with eARC, CEC and two separate speaker connections that can be activated separately? Needs to be something from a reputable brand. I prefer Dennon but something different would also be cool. Thanks!
