A new one, at work today i got called to an office as a printer wasn't working. When i arrived at the office (which wasn't on the list as having a printer) i found a 50 year old Ink jet which some genius had brought in from home and plugged into the USB port of a WYSE Terminal. it didn't even have a power plug.

    Hi, FIRST POST!

I spent an entire year of my life as a student in 2002 working for a dial up internet company in the UK doing tech support over the phone. I almost threw myself out of the window at least 10 times a day! Funny thing was the line was premium rate (about $1 / 60p p/min) and it would quite often take 10 mins just to talk someone through finding Control Panel let alone anything else.

Best call I ever had was from a little old lady who had just bought her first PC, she was really struggling using the mouse, it took well over 30 mins to work out that she was using the mouse with her foot like her sewing machine pedal. We had three more of those calls that year from little old ladies and i started asking right at the start of the call exactly where the mouse was located.....

    Hi,

As I posted in the welcome forum I have just had a go at building my own rig after telling myself I was going to do it for ages. As i'm starting to get into photography and videography I thought I would have a go at doing a build log on video and this is how it came out, hopefully it's OK to post the link as my Youtube isn't commercial or anything.

if you get chance to have a look i would appreciate and constructive criticism on the build and/or video as I've never done either before.

The full spec of the build is in my signature.

    Cheers
