I would keep the platform if your only getting a 1060. your CPU is still not enough to bottleneck a 1060:

and with the DDR4 prices plus extra latency you should just save your money .. and maybe put a decent cooler on the CPU for a sweet overclock.

The 1Tb HDD will hurt .. add a few $ for a boot SSD to go along with it. perhaps drop down fro mthe cyrorig h7 since you wont be overclocking and reuse the budget on an SSD 

Will it fit? - no Idea
Will it play games in 1080p properly? - yep thats not going to be a problem
Can I use it for fast rendering 1080p video's? - yep, Ryzen does well here
Does it look dope? - If it fits then yes it would be totally dope

2. Install Windows 10 without GPU installed .. you can use a Win 8.1 Key to deploy Windows10 until Dec 31st .. or just install as trial mode for now 
3. create a bootbale memtest usb key to check the DDR2 RAM .. http://www.memtest.org/download/5.01/memtest86+-5.01.usb.installer.zip

Not exactly true - I have the very well priced Redmi 3S which shipped with Android6 based MIUI7, in the 3 months I have had it they have upgraded to MIUI8 (still based on Android6) and announced MIUI9 based on android7 is due in Q1 2017. If you instal lthe developer ROM then you get an update every friday - you wont see any name brand offering weekly updates. Also the device shipped with google play and has everything any phone I have ever had (including some bloatware :-)). the key is to ensure you order the international version of the phone you want or you will have to install play yourself.
