Two of my 64 core Zen3 VMs have been downgraded to 32 cores for now. They'll be put back to 64 over night for the rest of the event but will be 32 during the day.

Oh also FYI I have to back off a decent amount of my resources in an hour or 2 hours time, that will seriously effect hour Numbers output since I'm doing 3.8m-4m per day of our 9m-10m team total. I'd estimate I'll be dropping down by about 20%-30%, possibly a little more.

Yes but it could cost them in other events to do so, but also I don't know why they are pushing so hard in Yoyo still. Either way even if we have to accept 3rd lets at least annoy them as much as possible to get their 2nd lol
 
I'm pretty sure they are just matching our output and just spiking a little extra to pass every so often.

We should at least take back 2nd in Numbers so moving GPUs for a few hours I don't think will hurt too much.

Already had the GPU's on Numbers, just switched 28 CPU threads to Numbers from Yo-Yo.

Just got back over a long weekend. Turning everything to NF. Suppose that's where we could use a little bump.

Moved 5800X3D + 3070TI to Numbers from Yoyo and Einstein.

Moved a 7900x + 3080ti to Numbers from yoyo and Einstein.

I'm assuming most people still on yoyo are passive participants that aren't actively following this thread. Not sure how much more we can expect to shift over given we've been talking about NF CPU efforts for the last couple days.

Think I will put one of my GPU's back on Numbers for now, I don't it's worth risking losing 2nd place when the best we can hope for in Einstein is realistically 4th at most. 

We went up a spot 😅 but look at at Ukraine 🫣.

If someone is willing to help me in the discord channel I can throw a bunch of GPUs and threadripper pros at this. I am new to boinc and want to help. I just cant get my gpus working.

No doubt we need to have a big run in Einstein, but P3D is also on our heels in NumberField. If they take silver from us in NF, that's a net 20 point hit to overall standings as well.

4-7 are outproducing 3 now for Einstein, and we're the 2nd highest producer of that right now.  So we should keep moving up, but we'll need a good chunk more to medal.

Finally decided to figure out how to set this up. It's pretty amazing to be helping Einstein@Home to "search for weak astrophysical signals from spinning neutron stars." I might not have the fastest system, but I'm sure anything helps. As of right now, we're in 11th, we've got a long way to go to get to 1st.

Just woke up here down under and catching up on the strategies in the thread. I've diverted CPU from yoyo to Numbers now but before I switch GPU over to Einstein, is the current thinking, I should be selecting only Meerkat or keeping everything checked?

I think untill we see a couple updates of einstein it's hard to decide, although shifting CPU power away from yoyo to the sprint seems like a good shout rn. with GPUs on einstein
