    who's honestly surprised by this? I loved an article by Tom's Hardware recently - Radeon through the ages, or something along the lines... Basically what I got from it is they barely increased the number of ROPs per compute unit since the 00's which is ultimately the culprit for 3D and graphics processing also for compute workflows the shaders do matter however and are noticeable

    it does say that donations will be made on purchases from any 1 one the 50 U.S states though.... but then again it does say that they will donate of every purchase.... so it's a gray area and probably maliciously crafted to be misleading

    someone explain why people are so obsessed with boot times? you have to boot just once... I'd be okay with people complaining that their games or documents load slow, or that the project compile takes too much time... but nobody ever complains about that, everyone complains about boot time... jesus... just put the thing in hibernate or sleep if you're so obsessed about it

    I want this kind of mainstream workstation laptop... if I recall correctly, either Lenovo or HP had workstation laptops with dual desktop Xeons, up to 128GB ECC RAM and a Quadro card

    I still don't get it how can they get away with marketing "mainstream performance" as a good thing... what are the high-end workstation chips then? or are they referring to high boost clocks almost like mainstream parts have?
