    AMD sells consumer cpus at a rate of 2:1 compared to intel. Yet they only control 2% of server marketshare. Guess many are waiting for the upgrade cycle ^^

      Many servers are still 5 year old intel servers, it takes time for them to even consider update. But i think that the 7nm epic rome will make many consider.

      According to what I was told AMD server chips lack a lot of the virtualization features of Intel server chips. For a lot of the larger corporations that's a problem so it's Intel all the way.
