i currently have a ivy-brige cpu.(z77).

the thing is also i have to buy a new motherboard to do sli, and the the ssd part i run my computer solely on a 120gb ssd, and a 256gb ssd.(ssd masterace).

what are the work around? and do you think sli will give more performance that a cpu upgrade?

i do have it overclocked base clock is 3.6ghz and i get 3.8ghz on 4 cores and 4.0ghz on 2 cores.

the other problem is i don't know if dayz standalone has a sli profile, and if arma 3 has a good sli profile,

So i have pooled together $530 for upgrading my computer, and would like some suggestions for my upgrades. 1-cpu and mobo upgrade (most likely i7 4790k, a good motherboard-suggestions please, and a decent cooler) 2-grad another 770, and a new motherboard that supports sli My current rig-Specs: Cpu: i5-3470@3.8ghz Cooler: H80 Motherboard: Msi Z77A-G41 Ram: Kingston HyperX Black 16gb 1600mhz GPU: EVGA GTX 770 ACX SC PSU: Corsair HX850 Case: Fractal Design Define R4 So, the main games i play are Dayz mod, Dayz standalone, Arma 3, and cs:go. My understanding is that these games are very cpu hungry (other than cs:go), so i think option 1 would give the most performance. But i would appreciate your opinion and thoughts on my upgrades. (sorry if im in the wrong sub-forum)

i don't think it has enough pci-e connectors so i would say get a decent 550 watt-650 watt psu.

buy a r9 280 and call it good.

its just what happens when you play games across 3 screens because it fits for for half a screen for the edge monitors, ive looked into the same issues for my surround setup. its kind of hard to explain. because you are suppose to be focused on the middle screen the middle screen is normal, and the the left and right make up a full screen together. i hope you can understand what im saying, but it is 4:30am so some slack would be nice.

Thanks i didn't under stand the dynamics of that specific case very well.

3 things cool build the fans on the h110 are pushing into the case(and why?) and im not familiar with the air flow in that case but you lower front fan it set to exhaust and the top is intake(again why?)

i game at 5760x1080p with a 2gb 770, so i think a 3gb 780 would do just fine for anything under 4k.

i thought biostar was pos, but i got one second hand for a secondary build and it handles pretty well..

i like my windowed version and its quiet enough for me.

just buy a new psu to be safe, please.
